Path of Exile's Reliquarian Ascendancy Gets a League-Specific Overhaul for Curse of the Allflame

Grinding Gear Games has pulled back the curtain on the Reliquarian's latest makeover, showing off how the Scion's second Ascendancy will look for Path of Exile's upcoming Curse of the Allflame league. If you've been keeping an eye on this class, you'll know why that's a big deal - the Reliquarian isn't like the rest.

What makes the Reliquarian so different?

When Grinding Gear Games introduced the Reliquarian as the second Ascendancy for the Scion in Path of Exile: Mirage, it came with a twist that set it apart from every other Ascendancy in the game. Rather than staying fixed, the Reliquarian reshapes itself with each new league, meaning the version you played in Mirage won't be the version you take into Curse of the Allflame.

When can you try it out?

The Reliquarian's Curse of the Allflame revamp arrives alongside the new league itself. Curse of the Allflame is set to launch on July 24, following a full reveal at GGG Live on July 16 (tomorrow), so we won't have long to wait before getting hands-on with the reworked Ascendancy.

It also marks a natural changing of the guard, with the Mirage league wrapping up on July 20. If you want more of what's coming, we've also covered the ominous 'They Rise Again' teaser trailer and a pair of new Transfigured skills heading into the update.

Will the Reliquarian's new form tempt you back for Curse of the Allflame, or are you sticking with a tried-and-true build? Let us know in the comments.
