Akama was the leader of the ashtongue broken who swore their loyalty to Illidan because he promised revenge on the orcs for destroying their homeworld. When players enter the Black Temple raid in TBC Akama realizes he made the wrong choice and helps the players fight the shade of akama to restore the ashtongue's freedom.
He helped illidan take over black citadel, then betrayed him to Maiev.
A real rogue alright. He was permanently stealth in W3 as well, by the way.
