Hey Fluxflashor and site team,

I've been trying to track my Card Backs Collection, and with the outdated information on a lot of other sites, and the amount of card backs there are, I think Out of Cards would fall very nicely into a space for users to track things like Card Backs on their profiles, or in the Card Back section.

Hello, sorry if I missed where this is.

Is there a way to identify decks that are identical?

The three scenarios I wondered were:

1. Browsing the decklists, identical decks, you might want to click through to one with the guide filled out, or lots of discussion?
2. You found a decklist elsewhere are and wonder if it is already there
3. You build a deck, and wonder if it has already been submitted

There are 2 requests I'd be glad to see, regarding the Cards page:

1 - List the cards as pictures, not as text (or at least include an option to enable this)

2 - If above isn't possible, at least include the card's cost in the grid

Are there any plans to add a “latest comments” section on the home page? It’s one of the only things I feel is missing from the home page, and I think it would be good to bring attention to new comments posted on different pages (cards, decks, guides etc.) to encourage discussion on those pages. 

Just a thought. I know hearthpwn had this feature, and I always enjoyed seeing what random pages of cards/decks people were having discussions on, and joining in. 

The current algorithm for selecting decks on the front page seems to be to sort by votes and then decide tie breakers in favor of the oldest deck. This leads to the same decks being shown for a long time. Even more so since the decks that are on the front page get more views and therefore more votes.

This is not ideal for visitors, since they have to go digging deeper into the site to discover other decks. And it's a bit discouraging for people submitting decks, since it is hard to get visibility.

My suggestion would be to show random decks, weighted by votes. So a deck with 20 votes would show up more often than a deck with 2 votes, but both have a chance of being displayed. It also means that every time a visitor loads the front page, they're likely to see at least some new decks.

two things I think are not present on the UI

some threads are very long (the 80 quest trading and salt thread for example) with no way to skip to the last page or even second to last page, the >> and  << arrows are missing or just a way to navigate to a specific page.

The other thing that is missing is a subscribe/unsubscribe to threads feature specially the unsubscribe to threads you open..

I was wondering if you guys could add "Quest" and "Secret" to the list of card types in the search engine. They're sufficiently different from other spells to warrant a separate filter and especially the latter would be pretty useful considering the number of secrets in existence as well as the fact that dedicated secret decks are a regular occurrence in wild and standard alike.

Hi mods from Out of Cards, I'm a bit... dissapointed today. I have noticed almost every single comment I have made on this website has a lot of downvotes, even posts like this one (https://outof.cards/forums/hearthstone/hearthstone-general/1337-kripps-very-useful-guide-about-zephrys-the-great):

Seriously, guys??? And didn't sinti, whose comment has a total of 3 upvotes, notice anything strange??? WTF???

I perfectly know and understand why so many people out there are total assholes, and once a user becomes at least a bit popular in a forum, negative reactions are likely to increse, only because it's fun to hurt someone you don't like. But the negative votes are really not the problem here, what really pisses me off is that you, yes, the mods, aren't doing absolutely nothing about it. I know you know me very well, I have been a very active member of this community for more than four years, and yeah, I'm not Mother Teresa of Calcutta and my usual behaviour is probably not the ideal one, but why do I have to remember you to do your job??? It's super obvious you are totally aware of this thing, especially because many of my posts with stupid amounts of downvotes are in short threads where you participated!!!

I feel personally attacked friend, considering you downvoted all of my decks. Even accused me before of falsely advertising my decks, when I didn't list any winrates or even say the deck was powerful. 

You know what other type of people were annoying on Hearthpwn? Hypocrites.

Now that this site has been up for a while, some threads are growing in size, such as the ever popular Group Therapy / Salt thread. This thread currently has 12 pages, which I enjoy reading, but... it currently takes me four clicks to get to the latest page or comment of this thread, which makes me salty and in need of group therapy.

Currently, the thread has 12 pages. If I want to navigate to page 12, I have to take the following steps:

1. Click to open the thread
2. Click on the three dots "..." next to number 5. This opens the thread on page 6.
3. Click on the three dots "..." next to number 10. This open the thread on page 11.
4. Click on the number 12 to open 

From my perspective, it would be more intuitive if clicking the three dots would direct you to the last page in the thread.

So the request is simple:

• Please make it possible to either directly open a thread on the latest page, or allow a one-click opening of the last page once the thread is opened.

This will become more relevant once the threads increase in size

Is there a way we can get a report button for spam like WilliamKal?

I've always wondered why there was no sound for the pack opener, the screaming of the innkeeper is pretty great, and makes you want to keep doing it(google skinner box) so it's odd to me why it wasn't implemented on Hpwn or here, it's a new feature so i'm assuming it's not 100% implemented yet, but i just thought that would be a nice improvement. Also, i think you shouldn't need to scroll down to open a new pack like you currently have to do, it should be as fluid as possible, but i see these changes as more of "extra" and not necessary, but still they would be nice. Is there a reason why there wasn't sound before? Also is there a way to see why some things are worth more points than others? That was always confusing to me when i'd get a golden legendary and some commons just like someone else but they got more points than i did for some reason.

Would be awesome if you coud get archivements from the pack Opener Simulator.

Hi guys, first of all the site is amazing, it's really coming together nicely. 

One of Herthpwn's biggest and most popular things was the custom card competitions, the small weekly ones and the bi-anual big ones. I know you need to get the infrastructure done first but when can we expect these to happen here too?

Hey so during Rise of Shadows I was using the Hpwn for saving my deck lists for Hearthstone, but I specifically remember on the Day of the expansion (Naturally) the site was very slow or non-responsive due to the Influx of traffic on the site.

I switched over here about a two weeks ago and wanted to ask If Out of cards is going to receiving any slow downs during the Opening day of the expansion and if so Is there anything you guys can do in preparation for it?

I don’t know if anybody else feels that way but it’s really annoying to me that the theorycraft decks are in „standard” section.

Technicaly it’s not standard since the expansion hasn’t gone live yet. When I look for an interesting deck to play right now I have to filter all the theorycrafted away.

It would be cool if there was:

Standard decks

Wild decks

Pro decks

Theorycraft decks

all separated

I just wondered if there was a way to send a PM to someone on the site (I couldn't find a means to do so), rather than creating a thread (which seems like the wrong thing to do)?

If not, what is the best way to talk to someone on the forum about an issue that is within the boundaries of what is allowed on the forum please?

Hey All.

I have been playing Hearthstone for about 3 years now.  Started around the end of MSoG.  

During this time I've made some junk home brews and janky meme decks but have always wondered how to create a proper deck and how to tweak it.

I was hoping we could get a feature for new player experience explaining how to build decks for different deck types: Aggro, Control, Combo etc.

Explaining what curve not only is but what you should have for each style of deck would be incredibly helpful.

Also explaining pocket metas and how to tech would be fantastic.

- How big of a sample size do you take to know when you need to change up tech?

- What tech do you choose for situations?

- When do you not switch up?

There was a post a while ago calling for content contribitors. I have a thought.

For starters, there is not a lot of strategy articles around for hearthstone. To contrast, for Magic the gathering there is a wealth of content with genereal strategy, deck guides and much more. I would be interested in such articles for Hearthstone. 

Now, I do not have the time to write a lot of articles myself, and even if I had the time, I would quickly run out of material to write about. What I could do is to write an article every once in a while. Could be with arena strategy, a deck guide to something I've played a lot, deep-diving into a certain matchup...

I'm sure there are many others who could write something interesting about their pet deck or something else, but not too often. Maybe just once. Why not have an open, or semi-open, column where users of the site can contribute with an article? Could be a weekly thing, or more often, or less. Maybe you'd organize it so that you apply for a slot in a schedule and get a deadline a week priot, or just send in articles whenever you have lne and they are put in the waiting line (would like the former better myself). Maybe with some general guidelines like preferred length and roughly what kind of content it should be.

Anyways, just an idea aiming to help the site, get some interesting to read stuff and have some fun as a community. A nice side effect is giving people who never really write articles some motivation for trying their hands at it, a very useful experience!
