Hi,

There was a post a while ago calling for content contribitors. I have a thought.

For starters, there is not a lot of strategy articles around for hearthstone. To contrast, for Magic the gathering there is a wealth of content with genereal strategy, deck guides and much more. I would be interested in such articles for Hearthstone. 

Now, I do not have the time to write a lot of articles myself, and even if I had the time, I would quickly run out of material to write about. What I could do is to write an article every once in a while. Could be with arena strategy, a deck guide to something I've played a lot, deep-diving into a certain matchup...

I'm sure there are many others who could write something interesting about their pet deck or something else, but not too often. Maybe just once. Why not have an open, or semi-open, column where users of the site can contribute with an article? Could be a weekly thing, or more often, or less. Maybe you'd organize it so that you apply for a slot in a schedule and get a deadline a week priot, or just send in articles whenever you have lne and they are put in the waiting line (would like the former better myself). Maybe with some general guidelines like preferred length and roughly what kind of content it should be.

Anyways, just an idea aiming to help the site, get some interesting to read stuff and have some fun as a community. A nice side effect is giving people who never really write articles some motivation for trying their hands at it, a very useful experience!

Loving the site. I noticed the Achievements are up and running, but the colours used to show which Achievements have been completed and which ones have not are extremely difficult to tell apart for someone who is colourblind (i.e. me).

Any chance more contrasty colours could be used?

It would be nice to have a way to save other peoples decks on the site. Since HS has only 18 deck slots allowed that doesn't leave room to actually "save" the decks.

Could we possibly get a feature going to create a set of current standard decks to be used in all the old adventures, mostly for heroic to be fair.

I have recently been trying a few heroic bosses from Naxx and some are kinda easy with today's cards but others are a real challenge and not being a pro deck builder I am struggling with thinking of decent counter strategies for them.

I think it would be a nice thing to put out for the community to do collectively and give people some new but old deck building challenges.

Once we have proof it can beat a certain boss or even more than one it can be put onto the guide page for each adventure as a suggested deck for each boss.

This could be a non starter but I reckon there are enough people out there with heroic adventures from when they first started incomplete that would like to get involved with this community project or just enough bored deck builders who would find it fun to do.

I'm no dev and I figure that if it is actually possible, this is a pretty huge wish, but I wanted to ask nevertheless: can we please have autocorrect for the card links? I'm not sure, but I think they're called tooltips... I'm talking about these: Wisp. The issue is, that I'm often not sure how to spell a card, like where was the apostrophe in Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound again? So I usually open a second tab and search for the card I want to link to look up the correct spelling (this comes with huge pain on mobile). I would love to cut this problem by having an autocorrect feature implemented which gives me some suggestions as soon as I type something between the two [card] pieces, like, I say "rage" and autocorrect says "Y'shaarj, rage unbound", "feral rage", "battle rage", etc.. Pretty please? :-)

So when looking at decks within the list one can filter you can see their names, archetype, cost, and such, as well as their deck ratings or "vote score". There is nothing inherently wrong with the vote score system, but if a deck is given a negative deck rating, that's reflected in the vote score of the deck lists. -1 or any other negative number is correctly translated to this screen, but the negative sign itself merges slightly with the little green arrow next to the score which doesn't look particularly clean. Additionally, it seems odd that a green is positive and red is negative system is set up with the voting system but the ratings in the filtered lists is only ever green (even when a deck has no rating or is neutral). This is very minor but it bothers me nonetheless.

I've gotten quite a few achievement notifications since they've started working, but the link on the notification just redirects back to the notification page. Is there any way to change it so it links to the achievement itself or the achievement page? It would make it a lot more convenient to find out what I got.

Title says it all. I build a deck, yet I feel constrained that I have to choose one that's not befitting. I want to add more.

I will explain with an example: The deck I made consists of both Yogg Mage and Reno Mage archetypes. Is it possible to add two sub-archetype slots before saving a deck? That will help finding or expressing a deck better.

Hello everybody, I just returned home after my summer holydays (3 weeks on the beautyfull shores of Adriatic Sea, near the city of Ascoli).

I write not only to justify why I didn't post anything in 3 weeks, but also to say that I had a problem with my smartphone and my tablet: I was able to read outofcards, to write under the comments, but apparently when I used the button to publish my post nothing happened.

Has anyone else had this problem, or it was just mine?

Both are android based and I use a browser based on mobile firefox.

I loved the Hearthstone Pack opener in HearthPWN back in the days.. We need a new one here.

First - loving the new site.  You have done a great job since breaking off from *the site that shall not be named* :-).

I like that there is a Pro Decks list on the home page, would it be possible to make it a link that goes to a list of all pro decks on the site?  Also maybe the same for the Hot Standard and Hot Wild Decks as well?

Question - if I wanted to find all pro deck lists would I just select tournament decks on the deck page?

I think it would be pretty neato if we had a section of this site dedicated not only to cards that have had nerfs/buffs, but cards that we know the early designs of to show what the process of making a card looks like.

Most of the time we only see the end result of a card and not how many/what kind of iterations it went through.

This is a feature that would be interesting to have, but in all honesty is probably near the bottom of the list but hey, no rush.

Just out of interest, are entries 1 per IP address?

Seems a lot of user accounts that have posted were created in the last 24 hours, and though of course many may be legitimate, and new users of the site (which is great), I do wonder if some are just creating multiple accounts for a higher chance of winning.

Perhaps I'm just being overly suspicious :)  I've never tried to create multiple accounts here of course so for all I know it's one per IP address anyway.

If nothing else, it's great that giveaways like this are potentially attracting new blood to the site.

What bothers me a bit is an "issue" on mobile: Whenever you click on a card name it opens the details page for that card. Although I only like to see the card image. So I would have to go back after reading it.

Instead it would be great to use the solution that www.hearthstoneheroes.de has implemented: If you click on the card name once, it just shows the card image as an overlay which you can close by clicking anywhere else. If you click on the card name a second time the card details page opens up.

Their solution has room for improvement (open details page when clicking on the card image overlay; not opening the details page when clicking, closing and clicking again), but it's a good start.

Deck titles can feel very short, and sometimes I wish I had slightly more info about a decklist before having to click on its link to go to its page.

For example, I am searching for a mech paladin deck, but 4 of them exists on the deck searcher. Having to check them one by one can be a bit annoying, and sometimes I will just pick the first one that comes.

My idea is that every deck comes with a little "Summary" box, in which the author can write a few lines that will be display when someone hover its deck's name.

When I'm looking for a mech paladin deck, this time, two of them won't have registered a Summary, one will display "This version is much more aggressive than usual and features Mecharoo", and the last one "This deck aims to win against warrior, there is fewer mechs and a single copy of mechano-egg."

What are your thoughts?

Pretty self explanatory: can we get a button in the text editor that allows you to easily place empty quote boxes? I've been using stupidly roundabout ways to do that right now, and while I probably ought to figure out how to do it with the source code, I'm sure it would still be far faster if there were a button for it.

Seems like a pretty obvious feature to improve the readability & layout of longer posts, guides, etc.

Can we get an ignore button?

Just found your website, after hearthpwn seems to sort of die slowly. I like the fresh design, even if I need to get used to it of course. 

My question: Are you planning to develop a sync software as well? One of the most interesting things about hearthpwn was the fact that you can easily see what kind of cards you are still missing for a certain deck.

I would like to see a Hall of Fame of Hearthstone with a list of people that were/are important for it, World Champions, famous matches with links to videos, stuff like that.

And maybe a moderated list with active streamers with some info on classes played? Would be awesome to have all that in one place. So you could immediately find the most awesome streamer to learn how to play a certain deck for instance.
