The goal is to use Taliyah as a finisher in this midrange aggro style.
The deck curves out quite well, and focuses on landmark synergy in order to have a consistent game plan
With this being a mono shurima deck, using buried sun disks ability to always net us a turn 1 landmark to progress taliyah and something that can be destroyed by naturalist is a unique strength only a mono shurima build gets.
Rampaging Baccai is used for more board impact(punches down) and with the nature of this deck slaying 4 units should be easy to fulfill naturally.
Sivir has been added as a good pressure body, also fits the midrange aggro strategy. Her spell could come in handy in some situations.
Xenotype researchers benefits off of predict very well so the predict package seems strong with this card.
Leveling Taliyah will be very easy in this deck, so there will be consistency in that front as a finisher
Quicksand seems to be the best combat trick shuriman hush so in a deck that will be trading creature for creature this is a good card to have.

Would you consider -1 ambassador, -1 rite of calling, +2 sivir? Taliyah isn't so strong you need to guarantee her so hard, and she does very little to keep you alive.
Yea thats good as well, I was thinking to replace ruin runner with rampaging baccai. Sivir would actually fit the pressure im thinking of. Thanks!
Why are you playing buried sun disk with no ascended champions?
They always get a landmark turn 1, guaranteed, turning on your cards that care about landmarks. But I agree, this deck doesn't really need it.
Mostly as fodder for naturalist as well, since popping preservarium wouldn't be worth it as it gives card advantage
