As you continue your MARVEL SNAP journey, you will eventually encounter a Season Cache, Collector's Cache, Collector's Reserve, or Spotlight Cache. What are these boxes? How are they different? What do they contain? We've put together this handy guide to help you understand what you're likely to get from these boxes.

Season Caches

Season Caches are earned from Season Pass Level 51 onwards, and mainly contain in-game currency, with a small chance of containing a Mystery Variant.

You have a 40% chance of earning some amount of Credits, a 40% chance of earning an amount of Boosters, a 15% chance of earning Gold, and a 5% chance of a Variant. The odds, from most likely reward to least likely, look like this:

• 25% chance of 50 Credits
• 25% chance of 10 Boosters
• 10% chance of 100 Credits
• 10% chance of 15 Boosters
• 10% chance of 50 Gold
• 5% chance of 100 Gold
• 5% chance of a Mystery Variant

It should be noted that the developers have no intention of adding Collector's Tokens to the pool of Season Cache rewards.

Collector's Caches

Collector's Caches start showing up at Collection Level 506, taking the place of the guaranteed Mystery Card reward. In terms of Series, Collector's Caches start showing up 32 Levels into Series 3. There are two Mystery Card rewards between CL 474 - the end of Series 2 - and the first Collector's Cache.

There are 52 total Collector's Caches. From Level 506 to 754, you'll earn a Collector's Cache every 8 levels. Then, until Level 994, Collector's Caches are earned every 12 levels.

The most likely thing you'll earn from a Collector's Cache is a new card from Series 3 or lower, but it's not a guarantee: at 50%, it's effectively a coin-flip. Aside from the card, you have a 25% chance for some Credits and a 25% chance for 100 Collector's Tokens. Essentially, Collector's Caches are grouped into four: two will contain a new card, one will contain 100 Tokens, and one will contain an amount of Credits. The odds, from most to least likely:

• 50% chance for a new card (Series 3 or lower)
• 25% chance for 100 Tokens
• 12.5% chance for 200 Credits
• 12.5% chance for 150 Credits

Collector's Reserves

Collector's Reserves appear at Collection Level 1006, taking the place of Collector's Caches. Collector's Reserves appear every 12 levels from Collection Level 1006 upwards.

Collector's Reserves are arrayed in groups of nine. Among every set of nine Reserves, two will contain a new card (Series 3 or lower), three will contain an amount of Credits, one will contain 100 Tokens, and three will contain a cosmetic.

The odds, from most to least likely, are:

• 33.3% chance of a cosmetic (Variant, Avatar, or Title)
• 22.2% chance for a new card (Series 3 or lower)
• 16.7% chance of 200 Credits
• 16.7% chance of 150 Credits
• 11.1% chance of 100 Tokens

Once you have collected every card in Series 3, you will receive 50 Collector's Tokens in place of a new card.

Spotlight Caches

Spotlight Caches contain cards from Series 4 and 5, and rotate between three "Featured" cards on a weekly basis. A Spotlight Cache appears once every 120 Collection Levels, starting after the player reaches CL 500.

The cards featured in Spotlight Caches rotate with each new week, and that week's "Weekly Spotlight" card will always be one of the three cards featured. The fourth spot is a random Series 4 or 5 card, one the player doesn't have.

The developers recently changed Duplicate fallback for Spotlight Caches to 1000 Collector's Tokens. If you open a Featured card that you already own, you'll get 1000 Tokens instead.
