To be Strigoi is to be invisible in the eyes of Chronos, who would otherwise slow movement and age flesh.
Lore
Excerpt from Rouven Artino’s interview with Ixion the Betrayer. Athens, 1997
Ixion meets me in an opulent, over-decorated office that looks like the furniture hasn’t been updated in a century. As I shake his hand, his elongated fingers wrap completely around my arm. He’s shorter than I am by almost a foot, and his clothes hang off of an painfully gaunt frame. He’s being careful as we go through the greeting, yet I feel a fearsome strength in that odd hand. I have no doubt he could rip my arm off with the barest effort.
