As far as I know there is no sufficient data for the golden legendary pity timer (PT).

I actually got to 39x packs last expansion in between golden legendaries, so the much cited '400 packs PT' seems to hold, but I'm now (unwillingly) on my quest to test the PT:

349 Uldum packs opened, no golden legendary (got all commons and rares, most epics and would be missing like 5-6 legs hadn't I crafted 3)

IF I DO HIT like 380, I'll post again, but until then: What was the longest opening streak without a golden leg for you?

I'm very curious about this, especially because if nothing goes wrong, I will probably graduate in college as a Video Game Designer/Developer next year. Considering people is here mostly to talk a lot about games (especially Hearthstone, of course... :P), their mechanics, the balance, etc., I was wondering how many of you visit this forum and dedicate your life to this wonderful career??? :D :D :D

The Witcher trailer was released some weeks ago and I'm super excited. I really can't wait to watch this new series on Netflix!!! Of course, I want desperately to fill the big empty hole GoT left into my heart... At least a bit. ;)

Hello guys, I'm designing an expansion and I needed your help of sorts. I need a named untamable god/demigod beast for Hunter. It doesn't need to be in the game, I mean it can be a legend in some ancient books or something. It needs to be source of inspiration for hunters. Like how Druids revere Malorne (I really don't know much if they don't revere :) ).

Do you know any ? If it can be a bird-kind or a beauty symbol it will fit more for the theme :)

Hi, my dear mods and administrators from Out of Cards!!! :) I have noticed something that really pisses me off lately... :( Since Hearthpwn doesn't have a negative vote system on the forums (only on the comments section), people are forced to make posts if they want to really express their opinion against something or someone they don't like, but here, on OOC, many people just downvote others without saying absolutely nothing and there is no room for discussion!!! :(

Ok, ok, I realized I love to be downvoted, it makes me feel good (and powerful XD) for whatever reason, but as I said, many times it prevents discussions that could have been interesting and entertaining. So, what is your opinion about it? Is this good for the forum and the community, or not? We are a community after all, and a community needs real communication, that's what I think... -.-

Last I heard, Curse had abandoned HearthPwn, which lead Flux to shut it down and move operations to this site. But just now I went on Twitch and saw a bunch of high-profile streamers using HearthPwn (or a very similar lookalike) to theorycraft SoU decks. So what's going on? Did Flux move back to HearthPwn? Is this site gonna be abandoned? Or is there another site that copied HearthPwn's look?

I cannot figure out what my profile is missing to check off that achievement already.

Hey folks, I finally decided to get myself a tablet for Hearthstone and Skype sessions. After reading several tests I narrowed the search down to the following two:

Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite 

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)

While the Huawei has 3 GB Ram and the Samsung only 2 GB, the tests say that the Samsung’s processor is better. All the other specs are roughly the same or close enough that I don’t care. The price is identical for the two of them.

Could any of you tell me if Ram or processor power is more important for playing Hearthstone and / or report from their own experience how content they are with either of the tablets? That would be really great :)

Maybe we could use this thread for future hardware recommendations, so people who seek advice don’t have to start a separate one every time a similar question arises.

Game Rules:

1. User "A" chooses a Discover card and writes its Mana Cost.

Total Mana Cost: 2

Class Changed: 0 times

2. User "B" sends a Discover card you can Discover from a card above and writes total Mana Cost of his card and all the previous ones.

Total Mana Cost: 2 + 2 = 4

Class Changed: 0 times

3. The cycle continues. If User "C" wants to change a class to have more options (Here from Druid to Warrior), does it and rises the "Class Changed" count.

Total Mana Cost: 4 + 1 = 5

Class Changed: 1 time

4. Cards "from your/your opponent's hand/deck" in this thread are cards that Users above have chosen.

5. In cards that Discover multiple cards focus only on one card it could Discover.

6. Ignore abilities like "Summon it", or "If you're holding a Dragon"

5. If there are no other Discover options or cards are repeating themselves, post a custom card to make it even more exciting!

Anyone else take guilty pleasure in watching (or making!) Animated Music Videos (AMVs)??  I thought so :D  Let's share!

Poll Question:  What are your favorite types of AMVs?  (can choose more than one)

• When you love the song!  Having the song sync well with the video is nice, but even if there's only a loose connection to the lyrics/meaning of the song you'll dig it because you're looking for particular tunes.
  
  
• When you love the clips!  Having the video include seminal moments from one show (e.g. specific fight scenes) or numerous shows (e.g. OP female characters) is essential and then you look for best musical fit, even if the lyrics only match up superficially if at all.
  
  
• When the editing is really awesome and they make shows seem even better than they actually are - music and shows included are not really important.
  
  
• Kinda related to the previous one but, when they tell a story through editing and the music plays secondary significance (sometimes called Animated Story Music Videos (ASMVs)).  Often(?) there's only a non-vocal (though inspiring) background track which is what I think separates it from the previous jawn.
  
  
• When the clips capture a deeper meaning or a truer sentiment of the song than the lyrics alone - there's a synergy (i.e. interaction) between music, clips, and editing.

I'm sure there are tons of other reasons so please share yours below!  And post any fun stories such as shows you started watching because of an AMV or songs you became a fan of because of an AMV :)

I finally found the time to open the portal to this twisted plane. What my eyes saw is lost magic and unknown yet familiar place. So i wonder, are the ancient gods here?

Finally, i will make my presence known to the ancient arbiters, chimera, frosty and most importantly to the archarbiter Flux! You managed to banish me many times in the old plane, yet everytime i came back, and in the end i was the one to remain there! Muahahahahahaha!MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Let continue our ancient battle in this plane i as well!!

Waiting around for my DnD group to play Divinity 2 with me. Everyone is still doing exams except me, so I have to entertain myself somehow.

It can be a CCG if you want, or anything else that strikes your fancy. My one nitpick is not wanting to play shooters in general. I don't mind single-player games.

If you don't like Hearthpwn nor what Curse/Fandom did to Flux that is fine, and you have every right to be upset. But there really is no need to spend more time on Hearthpwn than Out of Cards to consistently take it out on the new management. How would you like it if trolls came here to constantly bash this website?

You aren't doing any favors to Flux or the Out of Cards community by behaving like a child on Hearthpwn, it's immature and very unproductive. And honestly, who wants to be part of a "community" that engages in that type of toxic behavior?
