Teamfight Tactics Set 18: Enchanted Wilds arrives on PBE July 28 and goes live August 12, bringing 35 traits, 65 champions, the new Wisps mechanic, and Lux’s unique Avatar system. This guide breaks down every trait with its effects, breakpoints, and which champions carry it, including key verticals like Blossom.

All Traits in Teamfight Tactics' Enchanted Wilds (Set 18)

Teamfight Tactics Set 18, Enchanted Wilds, hits the PBE on July 28 and launches on live servers August 12 with patch 18.1. The set brings 35 traits and 65 champions to a mystical forest setting, along with the returning Carousel and the brand-new Wisps mechanic — a reworked, expanded version of the Charms system from Set 12: Magic N' Mayhem.

This guide breaks down every trait in Enchanted Wilds: what it does, its breakpoints, and exactly which champions carry it.

Traits fall into two buckets. Common Traits have two or more champions and are what you actually build your board around. Special Traits belong to a single champion and function as a personal passive rather than something you stack.

Balance changes happen constantly on PBE, so numbers marked X are still in flux. All information is subject to change.

A Note on Lux and the Avatar Trait

Lux is the face of Set 18 and works differently from every other champion. She has the Avatar trait, and she appears in the shop as one of nine variants — Blossom, Coven, Elderwood, Eldritch, Fae, Inferno, Lunar, Primal, or Solar. Whichever Avatar you hold locks that Origin in for you, and no other player can take an Avatar with the same trait. Her chosen Origin counts twice for trait bonuses.

Because of this, Lux is listed as a member of all nine of those Origins below. She's one champion, not nine.

Common Traits

There are 25 common traits in TFT Set 18 — 13 Origins and 12 Classes. These are the traits with two or more champions, and they're what your comps will be built on.

Blossom

After combat, your Wisps are empowered. Blossom champions gain Attack Damage, Ability Power, and max Health.

Breakpoints

  • (3) Wisps are upgraded

  • (5) Wisps appear in every shop

  • (7) Gain gold after buying a Wisp

  • (9) You can buy 2 Wisps per round

  • (11) Wisps overflow with power

Blossom is the set's flagship vertical trait and the only one that directly manipulates the Wisps mechanic, turning the shop into a resource engine.

There are 8 champions that use the Blossom trait in TFT Set 18:

Breakpoints

  • (3) Essence per kill, Essence per loss

  • (4) Increased Essence per kill and per loss

Special Traits

There are 10 special traits in TFT Set 18. Each belongs to exactly one champion and activates the moment that champion hits the board — a second passive rather than something you build toward.

Apex Predator

There is 1 champion that uses the Apex Predator trait in TFT Set 18: The Elder Dragon (5-cost).

The Elder Dragon takes up 2 team slots and grants +2 to the Riftbeast trait. It's the vertical Riftbeast capstone — and with Riftbeast (10) granting increased team size, the double slot cost stops mattering.

Attuned

There is 1 champion that uses the Attuned trait in TFT Set 18: Alune (5-cost).

Your strongest Alune cycles to a new phase of the moon after each cast. While the moon is at or below half full, your team gains Durability. While above, your team gains Damage Amp.

Avatar

There is 1 champion that uses the Avatar trait in TFT Set 18: Lux (5-cost).

Having an Avatar on your bench or board transforms all other Avatars in your shop to the Trait of that Avatar. Only one player can hold an Avatar with a given trait. An Avatar's chosen Trait counts twice for trait bonuses.

Lux's nine Avatar variants cover Blossom, Coven, Elderwood, Eldritch, Fae, Inferno, Lunar, Primal, and Solar.

Bounty Seeker

There is 1 champion that uses the Bounty Seeker trait in TFT Set 18: Draven (5-cost).

Choose a bounty. Your strongest Draven can progress on the bounty to earn its reward. On completing a bounty, choose another. Bounties are objectives like "cast X times" or "deal X damage in a single PvP round," and the rewards include units, components, and shop rerolls.

Caustic

There is 1 champion that uses the Caustic trait in TFT Set 18: Kog'Maw (3-cost).

Caustic units' damage Shreds and Sunders enemies for a duration. With enough Attack Speed, Kog'Maw can maintain the debuff for most of a fight.

Emerald Aspect

There is 1 champion that uses the Emerald Aspect trait in TFT Set 18: Taric (5-cost).

Drag an ally onto your strongest Taric to pair them, granting that ally powerful bonuses from Taric's ability.

Greenfather

There is 1 champion that uses the Greenfather trait in TFT Set 18: Ivern (5-cost).

Gain a seed when your strongest Ivern casts, plus one every combat. Ivern uses seeds to grow a hex on your board that grants a bonus to whoever occupies it. Biomes include Tree, Mountain, Water, Rock, and Tanglebarb, among others — and if Ivern fills the entire board, the final hex is a special one.

Monolith

There is 1 champion that uses the Monolith trait in TFT Set 18: Malphite (4-cost).

Monoliths gain Armor and Magic Resist for each enemy targeting them.

Old Growth

There is 1 champion that uses the Old Growth trait in TFT Set 18: Maokai (5-cost).

Whenever an enemy within a few hexes dies, gain permanent max Health. The earlier you find Maokai, the more absurd he gets.

Thornmaiden

There is 1 champion that uses the Thornmaiden trait in TFT Set 18: Zyra (4-cost).

Your team gains Durability, increased further if enough Zyra plants are alive.

TFT Set 18: Enchanted Wilds hits PBE July 28 and launches on live servers August 12 with patch 18.1. All trait values are from the reveal/PBE data and are subject to change before release.
