Tristana is the newest champion to join Legends of Runeterra's Beyond the Bandlewood expansion. Check her out and all the other new cards revealed today down below.
We do see the new Manifest keyword on some of today's cards. This keyword creates in hand one of three randomly selected cards using criteria specified on the card. For Hearthstone players, this is the exact same as the Discover keyword.
Tristana Champion Reveal
More New Cards
It wouldn't be a champion reveal without plenty of other supporting cards.

Is it just me or is Riot now slapping Quick Attack onto every champion?
It is typical for ranged champions to have quick attack and given we saw a bunch of ranged adcs that's not too surprising
That... looks not too powerful.
To me this theme looks like it is meant to please the casual playerbase.
I don't see an actual theme or gameplan in this pile of cards and it looks like it is not meant that there is one.
Just play random dual region cards cards and do ... things?
This theme really looks like the party mechnic from MTG transfered to LoR
Not a great representation of Tristana's LoL iteration.
And that's perfectly fine lot's of champions play nothing like their league counterpart, Lucian, Akshan, Zoe, Aurelion Sol, Lissandra to name a few, a Moba and a card game are very different medium's.
And sometimes its better when they don't follow the champion LOL iteration, Take A.Sol for example is league he is just squishy mage but in LOR they managed to capture the power fantasy of playing as a star forging dragon.
Fair to say, but there's not even the fantasy of Tristana's gameplay. Lissandra isn't a 1:1 translation but she's still a crowd-controlling queen, and Aurelion Sol has his star dragon fantasy play out well as you noted. The multi-region stuff has nothing to do with Tristana, at all. She's a cannoneer who can attach explosives to people and blow them up; why doesn't she at least get Impact for herself? This smells like coming up with the Runeterra gameplay first, then finding a LoL champion to attach it to :/
I agree Linkblade.
I also feel that the Impact keyword feels like a weird version of overwhelm. I don't quite get why the printed it. Manifest? Makes sense, we were expecting it down the road sooner or later (though TBH, I thought Invoke was already their way of doing discover, but apparently Invoke is purely discover for celestial cards, so Manifest appears to be a much wider pool or mechanic)
Anyhow....back to my previous statement. Impact just feels like Overwhelm except it doesn't require you to essentially kill the minion in order to deal the damage. Which means it's either going to feel worse than Overwhelm in practice, or it's going to be much better than overwhelm in general.
Either case doesn't bode well: They either print a new keyword that obviates the old keyword, or they print a new keyword that doesn't do anything really functionally different than a previous keyword (which is boring and lazy development)
I get what your saying but between her champion spell and fact that she grant impact to allies, I would say that there is some element of her kit in her design. as for the multi region, recent lore do portray Tristana as the level headed leader to the rest of the Yordles and that's reflected in her design she is the champion ties all different these multi region Yordle cards together.
They are making cards for Runeterra so prioritizing it's gameplay first is logical.
Take Yasuo they successfully emulated many aspect of his design in LOL but he ended up being a very clunky champion. Zoe who on the other hand play nothing like her league counterpart but she ended being one best champion in the game and that what's matter that a champion function well as card not how faithful he is to an iteration from a completely different medium. Anyway this just my opinion feel free to disagree.
