According to the fine folks at Grinding Gear Games, the next expansion for Path of Exile will be announced next month.
That gives us a little over a month until the announcement and then just a week or so until "late July" when the new expansion, and league, will make their debut. Go finish up those Necropolis challenges while there is still time! Which builds are you currently playing during Necropolis league?
Quote From Grinding Gear Games We're in the third month of the Necropolis League and you may be wondering about the timeline for our next expansion. In today's news post we'd like to give a short update on that matter.
We're currently looking at a late July release for the 3.25 expansion. Like the Necropolis expansion, we expect the 3.25 launch to happen simultaneously on PC and Consoles. This means that you have plenty of time to complete your challenges in the ongoing Necropolis League if you were planning on doing so.
We'll reveal all the details live during the GGG Live event around the middle of July. Stay tuned!

Seems they going to be a bit late with this league. Necropolis was released on the 29th of March and leagues/seasons/expansions usually last for ~13 weeks so it should* have released on the 28th of June or 5th of July. We ofc give them a pass on this now coz the team is split between POE 1 & 2 and I'd imagine POE 2 is taking up more and more dev time. Also remember they promised at last year's ExileCon that the beta would be released on the 7th of June (2 days time at the time of writing) and now it's delayed till the end of the year, so lots of pressure atm for GGG
Yeah they’ve got a ton going on! I hope the next league rocks because necropolis definitely hasn’t felt like a “I want to play this the whole time” league and the population generally agrees.
I'm a bit thankful they delayed the beta though because stuff is way too chaotic right now lol
