How do you counter or at least live against the Elusive Decks?
Well i played my frist ranked games today and id really like to know what you play against those decks.
in my rank which is assumably the lowest in ONLY play against this decks.
i mean i dont rant because people can play what they want. but what do i do against them when i dont want to play those decks?
the only reason why i dont want to is becuase im a little strange at games and i dont enjoy the stuff everyone plays .... so if there is on way around i might play elusive but id rather have another option
the deck i tried out is
CEBACAIFGAAQCAIDAIBACAIJCYEQCBIBBMQCQKJLGE2TMAQCAECQ6IQKAEAQCBYUEAQSEJBHFEXA
its a budget controll deck which i have from youtube (im not a good deck builder so far... ) and maybe its just this deck or the lack of drawing my kill spells but maybe someone has a hint for me
id apreciate it
thank you

First of all can you stop posting with so many enters? it's quite annoying to read, thank you. (not trying to be rude.. just constructive.. sorry if it comes across as rude).
I looked at your deck(Next time post your deck code into the deck builder of Out of cards):
and it's too much of a mishmash of stuff, it's not clear what's the goal of your deck, you run Elise but not many spiders, you run The Undying but not too many ways to abuse the card, I would suggest first to really decide which style of deck you are going for, this deck has aggro, control and midrange tools currently as it stands it's a weird midrange deck and not control, there are many control decks for FJ + SI one I really liked is this deck:

I didn't watched the new video, but I played his previous version which is quite similar to yours, and was heavy in abusing the undyings.
Also about ranks, you start at the lower middle portion of the ladder at silver, the ranks go iron-bronze-silver-gold-platinum-diamond-master just like in league and in TFT. that's Riot's ranking system. every tier has 4 levels from IV-> I while the lower the letter the better. I would suggest against playing ranked before you have a real deck cause you will then get to a lower rank and will have to apply more effort just to return to the starting point.
So thank you very much for your constructive Feedback
I am a watcher on this Forum for quite some time now because of hearthstone and because i actually know a little bit more about that game i never really had to post stuff here.
basicly the enter thing is just a habit i got from other sites but i agree its not pretty to read and ill do it like this one in the future :)
Also the Deck code Thing is helpfull and ill do that next time.
Elise is in the Deck to genereate pressure and blockers and to eat removal as far as i see it. I got decks with her in the Focus and ofc. she gets more spiders there :) lets call her kind of a decoy here
yeah you know the deck seemed nice on the vid and i won a couple of games in casual but ofc the elusive isnt that present there as in ranked. I played with my Jinx Darius deck and i won 2 out of 2 so far :)
i just wanted somethign different and i surely will watch the video and take a look into it
Thanks for the help and have a nice day
spells/removal
mystic shot
black spear
etc.
Wait we start at Silver? Everyone starts at Iron. Unless they changed with the recent patch
I barely played any rank, and I look at the color of the rank and it seem silver to me.. (do I need to get to gold to prove it :/) <- coward who is afraid of playing ranks for no reason at all.
About ranks, you start at iron tier, and each tier has 4 ranks as DoubleSummon said.
Within each tier you can go up and down the ranks, but once you reach a new tier, you can never go back to a tier below, meaning for example, if you reach gold, you can never go back to silver.
Got this info from the official site: https://support-legendsofruneterra.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041193433-Ranked-FAQ-Legends-of-Runeterra
Hmm then I will start playing more ranks I thought I could go lower with meme decks turns out I am in the lowest rank anyway huh.. so there's no reason to not play rank then (Also in silver if you are good)
It seems to me like silver I dunno it's weird.
I continue to be firmly confident in the meta resolving itself without balance changes. Probably in the form of Hecarim-centric Ephemeral decks steamrolling the Elusives.
I see you when you're sleeping; I'm gone before you wake
I'm not as good as turn 4 Barnes; But I'm at least a Twilight Drake
I'm unconvinced this will be healthy for the game. If elusive decks dominate 90% of their matchups and are only countered by one specific deck archetpye (let's assume Hecarim ephemeral as you mentioned), that's not good balance. Riot explicitly stated they want a variety of different deck builds to be viable. I think to that end, they'll have to tweak something about either the stronger elusive followers or about the elusive mechanic in general.
Then again, I'm just arguing based on what I've been hearing about elusives recently. I mostly play expeditions and a couple of normals, but barely any ranked games. So I don't go up against this deck archetype nearly as often as some other people do.
Well while elusive decks probably are a little too strong right now, mostly because of deny and less because of elusive, the deck you are using is objectively bad, it would be like throwing a bunch of aggro and low cost deathrattle cards in a res priest deck. the reason you lose games is absolutely the deck. Furthermore, even if you had a proper control deck, you don't know what stuff to play around yet. it's probably just better to make an actual Elise aggro deck until you have been playing more

That is the list that brought me from gold 4 to plat 4 in just 25 games facing the most common meta decks (spider/elusive) almost all the time.
The reason why this deck worked so well for me is that people underestimate how quickly a lucian can escalate and how devestating a double attacker(lucian/senna) becomes with overwhelm (might). I think people are completely sleeping on lucian and that you should give it a try if you want to hunt these elusive/spider decks down
I feel like you are making a pretty big assumption here -- namely that Riot achieved the uncanny feat of getting the balance exactly right after exactly one balance patch following a very limited pre-beta event.
The whole point of beta is to fix bugs and address balance problems that come to light when large numbers of players start playing your game.
Riot's stated goal is to have about 10 different decks showing strong representation in the meta at any given time. We are obviously not there yet, and I don't think the meta is going to self-correct enough to get us there unless Elusive takes a hit.
I would argue that the biggest assumption of all is that balance really exists. I'm not saying that the meta will resolve into a floating 50/50 winrate state for everything across the board. What I am saying is that if you fast forward to three months from now, if no changes were made, I don't believe Elusive decks would still be top of the meta.
In my view, gamers - across all games, not just this one - are far too quick to scream for nerfs instead of exploring counters.

Yet Riot does plan to do a balance patch once per month, so it makes sense to drill down on the most obvious offenders.
At the moment, Elusive is pretty near the top of the list, along with certain aggressive tools from Shadow Isles.
Given that there will be monthly balancing: If not this, what?
