World of Warcraft leaks

If anyone is still interested in World of Warcraft some interesting leaks just came out on 4chan. Some really interesting stuff. I will bullet point some of the stuff said.
- Next expansion seems to be related to the Dragon Flights gaining in power again. Dragon Isles and Shadowlands
- 4 allied races seem to be coming. Vuperia and mechagnomes of course. And Light Forged Undead for Alliance and a Pig race that isn't Quilboar for Horde
- Nya'lotha confirmed for 8.3. It's going to be 3 or 4 zones big similar to Argus size
- Sylvana's end goal was to prevent N'zoth from being released
- Suarfang is getting the axe this expansion to save Sylvanas it seems. Sylvanas risked her life to prevent N'zoth's full return. (she is also no longer the warchief next expansion)
- The team is considering merging the factions when Baine becomes the new Warchief. Warmode off will allow you to enter Alliance cities as horde and Horde cities as Alliance.
- If they go through with this plan it will also be possible to raid and join guilds with the opposite faction. When warmode is on you can kill the opposite faction again. (they might scrap this merger)
- Level cap confirmed going back to 60 and the new expansion content will bring it up to 70
- Tinker is the new class coming and it starts at level 50. Tank+healer+dps
- They have confirmed new "class skins" coming to the game. They used Necromancer as warlock, and Dragonsworn for druid as examples. HOWEVER it seems you need to re level a whole new character to use these new class skins. As in you need to start at level 1 and make a necromancer instead of just changing your warlock.
Last he said the patch 8.2 is hitting the 25th this month.

We´ll see if they´re true, who knows. They sound crazy enough
That would be hell of a twist. I don't play WoW in the official realms, but I just follow the story from time to time.
If all of the things mentioned in the OP are true, I can't see how Blizzard is going to explain this w/o causing any confusion among the players. How would Sylvanas being "Garrosh 2.0" right now suddenly become the misunderstood hero, who intended to save the world by preventing an old god's return? And there are characters like Saurfang, that would want to help her despite their recent conflicts?
I'd really like if they found a smart plot twist to save Sylvanas from being a stupidly hateful character, although it's pretty hard at this point?
Anyway Sylvanas does not deserve the Garrosh treatment. At all.
I am also really intrigued by Nya'lotha. It may be a masterpiece, worthy of the Lovecraft lore. I wish it was released when i was still playing wow.
Hello, my first post on the new site, been Hearthpwn user since 2013 :D
As for the leaks:
-can't imagine faction merging after making a big war between them just recently. Also, I a horde loyal mamber I don't wanna any ally in my group, something like that would pretty much kill the core concept of the game, which is faction animosity
-Sylvanas deserves Saurfang axe in between her eyes, that's quite simple, don't think that's gonna happen, but such a twist in their relationship is quite unlikely imo
-"lightforged" [insert any race] is bs - why not have lightforged gnomes? it's just a ritual to pass, I don't think allies would welcome yet an another asspulled allied "race"
like lf draenei or void elves (why not void gnomes?)
-vulpea and mechagnomes will come for sure, they are cool
-I REALLY hope for tinker class, think it's quite likely
-as for the rest, idk.
The leak which claimed patch 8.2 is coming on the 25th is now verified. This now increases the chances that many of these leaks might indeed be real.
Thanks for sharing the news with us and keeping us in touch with what's happening right now in WoW.
(I've added a link to the 8.2 Patch notes in your comment)
@ Everyone, who is interested in OP's article:
Ok, so what does this mean? If the rest of the leaks are true, then how would the writers explain the future events? For me those sound abrupt and unlogical. I'm aware, that Blizzard would slowly introduce the rest of the plot to us players, but regarding the things we know now how would you explain the following:
I can think of more questions - So does this mean, that the Alliance (more specifically the Night Elves) forgives the Horde for what Sylvanas did to Teldrassil? Is merging both factions even thinkable? How would people suddenly forget about the war, the mayhem, that was done by both sides, and concentrate on beating Azhara and N'zoth?
Don't get me wrong - I would like to see both factions overcome their differences and welcome their enemies into their own towns and guilds, but I just can't understand how all of this could happen that easily and fast in the context of a faction war.
The only possible plot twist I can imagine is a special feature of N'Zoth, the Corruptor himself, who may actually gain more power from a state of peace (the opposite of a Sha of Pandaria), and/or from the full awakening of Azeroth, being too deeply attached to her soul.
And that only Sylvanas Windrunner discovered. So she acted according to what she knows, and what she thinks to be the only possibility to save the weak balance of the planet (cruel war).
I can't really think of another "good" reason to destroy Teldrassil and mercilessly slaughter its population.
If the leak about her is true ofc.
Sorry for being naive, but doesn't burning down Teldrassil have to do with killing the Night Elves' hope and showing the Alliance, that there can be no moral, when war is at hand?
There is also a user, who explains this in the official wow forums:
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20766837116
Exactly, so, if the leaks are true, and Sylvanas is actually trying to stop N'zoth, there must be an explanation that makes her recent actions and intentions (destroying Teldrassil) coherent with her assumed secret purpose.
That's why I imagined a N'zoth that would be able to grow through peace. That would make permanent war a way to keep the Old God dormant, hence the destruction of Teldrassil by Sylvanas: to raise hate, and fuel the war.
I admit to being a LK baby (started early; not on launch but early). I stopped playing midway WoD (started HS), gave BfA a shot and stopped a while back. I unsubbed for the first time since LK. Then added 3 months time to get me to end of August.
On August 13th I will try to reserve my name in Classic servers and give that a try. It is the only thing WoW that currently is still peaking my interest. If I enjoy it, I'll turn on 6 month sub again.
I bear no ill will to anyone still playing retail but it's not for me.
While ALL my friends stopped playing retail WoW, I look forward to the server sense of community in Classic. Maybe some of my old friends will play; maybe I'll be making new ones.
For the Alliance!!! :)
I understood what you said, but this still raises a lot of questions:
If Sylvanas's intentions were as good as the "leaks" claim them to be, wouldn't it have been better for the Banshee Queen to inform King Anduin of N'zoth's presence in the first place, so that we can see an alliance forging between both factions? Wouldn't it have been better for them to come up with an alternative solution? Because the whole war seems to me, as if Sylvanas has her own selfish reasons to lead it and wouldn't stop, until she achieves complete victory. But if she was truly aware of N'zoth's presence, then how would she succeed with having a war on two fronts - from the Alliance's side and Azhara's? Why would she think, that the Horde's forces would be strong enough to hold them?
Also - if we learn, that Sylvanas only cares about saving the whole world, that her recent actions actually had pure good reasons behind them and that she is a misunderstood hero, wouldn't that be lazy writing? I don't want to criticize the writers for their efforts, as we don't know how the events would advance for sure, but making a character follow a certain grim path and then come with an explanation for it out of the blue, that shows it in a completely different light, sounds kinda cheezy.
Btw in the wowhead's "8.2 Patch notes" page, there is a paragraph, that explains how Azhara takes advantage of both factions' war, so that her army would defeat them:
The capital of the Naga arises after the assault in Dazar'alor, while both the Alliance and the Horde are recovering from battle and licking their wounds. Both factions having lost a lot of their naval power, it's a perfect time for the Naga to strike, beginning their coastal invasions. Sylvanas obtains word that something is out in the sea and sends her forces to investigate, Jaina follows by sending her own champions. As we venture into the great blue beyond, we find a crack leading to an ancient land - between waterfalls, we fall into the ancient land of Nazjatar, but Azshara has laid a trap for us! Players will have to evade her forces until they can power up; along the way each faction will meet a group of NPCs aligned against the Naga.
So I don't think it's true, that N'zoth grows stronger the longer the peace remains. Normally the old gods feed on people's rage, which is happening right now.
It was just a hypothesis ofc. I didn't imply I would like it.
Actually, following my own taste, Sylvanas wouldn't have become a Garrosh 2.0 at all. I would have looked for a different cause to renew the conflict.
At least, this was true hmmm....
Sounds like Illidan Stormrage, doesn't it?
So looking over this, most of the points have already been discussed heavily as fan theories, including class skins, the Tinker class, Nya'lotha, Saurfang sacrificing himself for Sylvanas, Bane becoming Warchief, ETC.
So the things I would focus the most on, is the amount of relatively new information.
Dragon Isle makes sense, considering Wrathion still is a thing, and is still doing some things behind the scenes. Usually, he and his agents have been pretty open to us, the adventurers, but as of 8.2 there will for the first time be an agent of his, that actively refuses to give us any information regarding their mission.
The Shadowlands makes sense in the same way, as we still don't know who told Vol'jin to recommend Sylvanas as the next warchief. It is quite heavily suspected that someone with relations to the shadowlands have been pulling strings behind the scenes.
The last new thing is the new Pig race, that isn't Quilboar. It seems like an odd inclusion, if the leak were based only on realistic theories. This is the nail in the coffin that makes me think that this is actually real.
Hello and welcome to the Tox Show!
My theory is the pig race is most likely found on the dragon isles. And the pig race will most likely be one of the main Dragonsworn Druid race skins in the next expansion. The necromancer goes well with the Alliance accepting undead into stormwind also. MY theory is the new pig race and the light forged undead are going to be important to the new zones in the expansion being the shadowlands and the dragon isles. It all makes more sense now.
