Mmh... I don't think. Look at it this way: even if you equip another weapon during the same turn, you can only attack once, unless the weapon itself (Fool's Bane) says differently .
As I see it, things will go like this:
You play the minion.
You attack with the minion.
The minion turns into its weapon form.
You attack with the weapon.
The weapon turns into its minion form.
You attack with the minion.
The minion turns into its weapon form.
You pass the turn.
Edit: is it possible that I misread your comment? I don't understand the downvotes :/
We don't know yet, since there's nothing stopping team5 from making dudes taller instead of swarming or divine shields. If the dudes get big enough technically this weapon will crash and burn into them which is still a plus.
I dont see why pally would be disincentivized to keep generating dudes even if this does come out. It will remove 3 minions at best, and a deck that swarms dudes out would probably not care too much about that.
It probably does have rush after you swing, if we follow conventional rules, because technically the minion is 'resummoned' after you swing.
But the description does read 'return this to the battlefield' so maybe team5 have configured it so it can only attack once per turn no matter what. Only testing will provide evidence for this.
Its confirmed. The blade has rush again after you swing. Just watched the video in reddit.
That makes the card all the more consistent. One of warrior's best card so far, and it'll take a lot to dislodge this one off.
Very dangerous with buffs. Basically every warrior will be playing this card because why not? Worst case scenario would be to remove one minion, swing once, and then this minion dies next turn. But it would already dealt 8 damage and develop a 4/x minion in the process.
Does it lose Rush after 2nd summon? If not then it can attack again and back to weapon form
I agree. I don't think the cards that have been revealed for that archetipe were enough strong to make it work, but creating a card like this one without Lothraxion around is another great obstacle.
Honestly this to me seems like a worse The Leviathan. Deal 4 damage twice in a turn and remain with bug stats on the board. Only you will only have one 4/5 or 4/6 body realistically and you dont draw a card. You could attack with the minion and not with the weapon thus making it "immune" to conventional removal, but viper is around already cause of pirate rogue. It's a cool gimmick but I feel it's not that amazing in practice. Warrior will play it in control but that's it. And not cause it's amazing, but it's just good enough removal.
Since no one else mentioned it you can get uncollectible weapons back from Hoard Pillager or Rummaging Kobold the way you can resurrect uncollectible minions with Resurrect.
It feels crazy this was released in the same expansion that Dude Pally is being pushed. Paladins would be incentivized to not use your hero power against warrior at a certain point if they believed their opponent was holding this card
I really like how 10 mana cards have been made to feel strong. I think this is a fairly balanced card, but compared to 10 drops of the past Living Monument, Icehowl, Faceless Behemoth, and etc, it feels to good to see them be worth their cost.
Cards of that type that summon/cast/equip random cards can typically only generate collectible cards unless the card itself specifically says otherwise. This applies to both The Juggernaut and Blingtron which can both only give you collectible weapons. It won't be able to generate Remornia's weapon form since her collectible form is her minion form.
Do we know that for sure? The Juggernaut just says that it equips a warrior weapon. This has a card for the weapon form so it is a warrior weapon. I wonder if Hoard Pillager would bring it back if it broke as a weapon. Would Rummaging Kobold bring it back to hand as a weapon if it breaks as a weapon? Also, is it a result from Blingtron 3000?
Because blizzcon is an iconic event that tends to attract many viewers by its namesake alone. I cant even remember if mircosoft ever did a conference. Activision may have merged with blizz long ago, but for very obvious reasons its never called acti-blizz con.
Besides, microsoft rules the roost and would probably call the shots anyway.
I love Patchwerk. I want to see something similar in HS one day.
Thanks, fren! Although, its Kraftwerk, just to specify, not Patchwerk lol. Patchwerk is the BG hero. And yeah, I think making that kind of Libram thingy seems pretty cool, heheh
Here it is, the recent expansion AND the new Core Set. There's gonna be more cards down the line as the new expansion Murder at Castle Nathria is revealed, so stay tuned!
Core Set 2022: Hydra
We now enter the land of a new Standard era. Well, 3 months ago, anyway. I think? With the release of Voyage to the Sunken City, a new Core Set has to emerge, of course. The set for Dragoon, much like the other classes, are mostly the same with a few changes (and a new addition!), though it's pretty, shall we say, buff-y~
Core Set 2022: Hydra Set
Tokens:
- Eeyup! Aspect Awakening is back! - Removed cards from the old Gryphon Core Set: Eye of the Dragon, Katar, Heavy Duty Dragoon, and Big Bad Assault. - New cards entering the Hydra Core Set from old expansions: Rise from the Dune, Sable Explorer, Breaker Javelin, Aspect Awakening, and Sinestra! - And changes to the cards in the old Gryphon Core Set that stays as well, such as: -- Molten Whelp is now a 1 Mana 2/2 from 2 Mana 3/2 -- Verdant Squire nerfed with -1 Attack, from 4/2 to 3/2, back to her original stats. -- Following the buff to Fiendish Circle, Sweeping Swarm gets the same buff as well, costing 1 less Mana, from 4 to 3. -- Rise from the Dune costs 1 less Mana now, from 5 to 4. -- Ebony Destroyer gains +1/+1, from 7/7 to 8/8. -- Sinestra costs 1 less Mana now, from 9 to 8.
Can I just say this expansion probably has the coolest theme song ever? It's not my favorite, but...underwater dubstep with Night Elf language? There's something so sick about that. If only Hearthstone still commands high attention and captures a lot of people still... *ahem* Anyway. As we venture into the Voyage of the Sunken City, we see Nagas coming to the game...which means, at last, new tribe for Dragoon to work with! Gosh, it's been so long since we have a synergizing tribe for this class, right? With Nagas becoming a focus for this expansion as a new synergizing tribe for Dragoon, in fact, so much of a focus many of the cards feel like it supports that theme, much in the same way as Mage and Hunter, not a lot of other themes shines through here. With two Dredge cards, and a theme of Naga recursion with its many cards, topped off by an undying big boy Dragon Colossal, this expansion is a surge of newness for all of y'all!
Voyage to the Sunken City Set
Tokens:
- How Rakusagos, Seaborne works simply is that it's an 8 mana 8/6 Dragon big boy with Rush that's Immune whenever it attacks. It's a Colossal +2, so it summons the Rakusagos Talons you see in the token section, which is the reason why its Immune if it attacks. If one of those tokens die, nothing else happens. But if both dies, whether together through an AoE that doesn't kill Rakusagos, Seaborne, or just opponents trading badly against those two, Rakusagos, Seaborne essentially becomes Dormant, waking up at the start of your next turn, resummoning those Rakusagos Talons again as well.
(Throne of the Tides Mini-Set)
Throne of the Tides. All about the petty fights between octopussy monster Ozumat and the Lord of Tides himself, Neptulon the Tidehunter who was done very dirty during GvG (which I personally don't mind I love Murlocs but hey). Dragoon's all about the Ozumat side, which is why they still didn't have an Elemental after so long. Heh. Contained here is a Fire synergy card, and Supremacy synergy...and also a heal card? What does these things mean?~
All-Star Squad
So, since Brawl rewarded us with Standard Pack, we can actually hoard this to get more cards from the newest expansions right.
I mean, 4 packs x4 months is quite good if you lack cards.

Seems like a worse The Leviathan for warrior. Honestly it doesnt impress me much. Hit twice for 4, leave a 4/5 or 4/6 body at best on the board.
Could keep it as weapon to make it immune to usual removal but viper is still played a ton.
EDIT: Oh, you can attack with the minion a second time. Oops. So that's 4 damage three times. Definitely better but idk how good it will be in the end
