Pretty light because i like to wait before buying the next "incredible bla bla bla" that's going to become the "best X type of game in the world"

It's always smart to wait and get deals on games. It's crazy at how even just a few weeks after a game launch you can see games at a 10% discount. There are only a few games I will always buy at full price: World of Warcraft and Formula 1. I just can't not play on the launch for them, WoW more so due to it being an online game that is oh so fun with everyone as you're learning new content.

University life is often likened to riding a wave - full of opportunities, adventures, and challenges. One of the most daunting challenges for many students is excelling in writing assignments. The pressure to perform can be overwhelming at pay to write my assignment , but with the right strategies, you can not only survive but thrive in this academic storm.

  • How Much Have You Spent on Steam?

From 2012, total spent = 860$ and oldSpend = 63$. Also, at most 300$ in keys from other websites.

Pretty light because i like to wait before buying the next "incredible bla bla bla" that's going to become the "best X type of game in the world". Also, not buying Paradox and similar games helps a lot. I'd rather test them by other means due to their predatory DLC tactics and barebone main games.

  • Looking Back at Hearthstone's Classic Legendaries - The High-Cost Neutrals (Part 4)

Yeah, I get that. Arena was my main game mode for years, but over the time with how new cards got more and more powerful, Blizzard did little to take Arena into consideration, so I stopped playing it. It just became a huge RNG fest, and no longer was it about skill as much as it was before. And the price of entry was too high for you to basically just play a slot machine with your gold. Not worth it, sadly. Even tho I still love the game mode's idea, they ruined it by not keeping up with it over the years of development.

13 years of service, so that's about $186 a year, or $15 a month. That's not that bad.

...of course, that leaves off the fact that I own a Switch, a PS5, and older consoles, along with the stuff I've bought for them. Plus I purchased a Steam Deck, which is another $700 added onto the number above lol

  • How Much Have You Spent on Steam?

Been on Steam since 2012, so that goes to about 135 USD per year. Of course, it doesn't include spending in other places (though I'm sure Steam is more than all of those combined), so it's not that much.

Honestly, I thought it would be more but this is also a bit extreme. I know this doesn't include the couple thousand I almost certainly have spent on Path of Exile cosmetics over the years, since I buy that currency directly from Grinding Gear Games.

16 Years of Service means on average I spend $415 a year on Steam, or about $34 a month. That really puts it into perspective - gaming as a hobby is hella cheap!

I'm so bad at arena I tune out everything I do in that mode. It's nothing but 150 for a pack for me. Haha.

DW in Arena way back in old days, those were the plays :D Not something special today, or even that good, but oh the memories :D

Deathwing  may be difficult to play but worth it for that sweet animation.

I also keep the newer version of Norzdomu in my Dragon Druid for fun. I've found at least one other person doing the same during ladder. Hilarious!

Ragnaros wins are still satisfying/infuriating  even after all these years.

  • Last Epoch 1.0 Review: Time-Travelling ARPG That Doesn't End

I can understand being annoyed about such things - I was as well, obviously, as I took the time to mention it - but I also feel like it wasn't too much of a big deal after the initial "wait, what?" negative feeling that came with getting burned by it. I just reoriented my brain to open every chest regardless of my inventory space, remember what monsters were nearby, then come back knowing I would immediately be set upon. It wasn't completely harmless - I had to refight a boss because I had the gall to leave her arena to sell my stuff before proceeding to the next boss behind her - but it became less egregious and more a slight annoyance most of the time.

That being said, one major problem (if the Last Epoch forums are to be believed) is the ongoing war between the loot systems. You see, LE incorporates a "choose your playstyle" direction, wherein you make a (non-binding) choice that influences how you acquire loot. You can play with items bound to your account in the Circle of Fortune, but they get increasingly better as you go, or you can just use the Bazaar to buy and sell items you want. The latter became like the defacto option for late-game individuals, because you want specific things and the Bazaar lets you go get them. I went with Circle of Fortune because I played by myself anyway, and I could tell on some level that, while I was swimming in more treasure, it wasn't necessarily the treasure I wanted. So that was a letdown.

This had started as a "don't worry, you'll enjoy LE anyway" reply, but then it got more negative than I intended lol. Just trying to be honest with you! The game still hasn't begun its Season-equivalent stuff, so I stopped playing after a bit to enjoy other games. I will definitely come back - which is probably more than I can say of Diablo IV - but right now I don't feel compelled to rerun the same content repeatedly.

TL;DR: Give it more time for the Seasons to begin, and for the kinks to be ironed out, and we could have another champion of the genre like Path of Exile. It's still fairly new.

  • Patch 29.2.2 Launches Today With Changes To Reno, Zarimi, Zilliax, Wheel of Death, and Much More!

Is there any way to beat Renathal Reno decks with aggro after this patch?

80 HP is way too much to stand a chance it feels like :( ...

That's because it's a buff for the other highlander cards since they can't get disrupted anymore - as the devs have correctly flagged it in the patch notes. Reno is the only one that you can get a refund for because his Cost was adjusted.
