Train heist, which will then result in yet another name change for an established character. Turns out Bobby K is evil capitalist during the day but its getting too easy for him so he moonlights as a highwayman just for the kicks. Robbing isn't fun when there's no wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Expect an apology video where he reveals his true identity spiderman style.
The purpose of Calculated Creations is to really make sure I get a Ballistic bot. And I don't mind having multiples. Practical Perfectionist serves a similar purpose, but it also helps me get the peddler, which I also don't mind having multiples of either. But there may be a better card for that, though I like having the effect come with a body I can block with. That's why I'm not running things like Conchologist. I'm not just looking for pure CA. I'm really aiming to draw specific cards.
The deck wins either with Peddler and Ava Achiever, or ambush + Ballistic bot, or a mix of both. Obviously, ballistic bot synergizes with the peddler.
Death Ray - Mk 1 is a card I usually find sub-optimal, but it's there because it guarantees 3 activations of peddler, as well as triggering Ballistic bot. I considered mystic shot, but it has less synergy. Though there may be another card that would serve the same purpose which I missed. Pokey stick is absolutely a good card. But I would lose synergy.
And yes, this isn't a deck I would put Caitlyn in. Though I think Fenrir is right about Thermo. I got a bit paranoid about my opponent slamming a big beatsticks lol. 3 is indeed too much. I could try replacing it with aftershock.
It should be noted that I'm happy with Teemo either hitting twice, or hitting once leveled up. I don't care if he dies after, and I will happily use him as a spell.
Minitee is tempting lol. But I'm not sure it's optimal :)
reveal delayed because they couldn't find enough orphans to sacrifice to Baphomet. Investors outraged at the apparent lack of infrastructure to guarantee steady oprhan supply.
If I recall correctly, I beat Rend with a fire team. Loads of AoE and I sacrificed Gruul for his nasty ability. I also guess summoned minions are useful to eat up that ability but haven't tried it.
This description might be enough for you, but it instantly raises some questions for me. Like:
A button? So you press it and it randomizes your currently equiped hero? Can you also press it to randomize your favorite hero? Where exactly is the button located? How big should it be? Does it need a text description next to it or rather use a icon? What is if I want a random hero for each match. Do I have to press the button each time? How about if I only want a random hero from a previous selected pool of heroes? How would the hero in your deck preview look like? Just a boring question mark? How do you differantiate between the classes if every class has the same Icon?
What are the expectations of other players?
All of those questions have to be considered and that's just the first step of the ones I mentioned above.
Head over to Mastering Runeterra for the full breakdown. Please note that all of this data comes from the competitive portion of the ladder - Platinum, Diamond, and Masters ranks. If you're playing at lower ranks, the decks you face will probably be a bit different down there.
Short summary of the report -
Darkness control has the highest playrate of any deck
Pantheon and Teemo/Tristana/Gnar are the two popular decks that have the best winrates
Scouts is still popular and still good
Lurk is still very popular for some reason (and it's not winrate)
The remaining popular decks do not have the greatest overall winrates-
Timelines Trundle/Gnar
Ezreal/Cait
Sivir/Akshan
Swain/Gnar (this one is below 50% winrate)
Best decks by winrate include:
Pantheon and Teemo (see above)
Scouts
Taliyah/Ziggs (shocker of the month)
Gnar/Ziggs
Draven/Rumble
Seems like a decent array of decks being played. Nothing has higher than about an 8% playrate, and nothing has higher than about a 55% winrate. It's still a very diverse meta with a wide range of viable options.
My money is on the keyword Recruit coming back. Put Master Oakheart in the coreset and all of a sudden you have at least 20 different ways to utilize him in the deck building phase. Vandar Stormpike synergizes with him in "big/combo" style decks for all 10 classes, or you could make a hate deck with troggs and outposts without Vandar for starters. There are already some intriguing 1,2 and 3 attack minions to choose from. If the team slowly adds some Legendaries and epics that synergize with Oakheart for each class, they could strengthen class identity through these bridge cards and finishers.
Recruit can be a fair keyword if the cards are designed correctly. Ungoro had a lot variety in its meta and is considered to be the best expansion in hearthstone. I can't think of another card that could rival Oakheart in terms of variety (unless they reprint it). The meta just needs to slow down a bit or maybe just buff Oakheart to 8 or less (also make sure Druid does not get out caontrol). Now I don't think for a second that the team in its current state is capable of giving us another Ungoro but I can dream.
This deck reflects the beauty of Wild. It's a viable midrange/control deck that utilizes cards from 14 different expansions (hey Swiz, beating/increasing that number could be a nice deckbuilding challenge!) and 1 from Legacy while making use of various small packages and synergies, besides the powerful singleton mechanic. It really showcases how creative deckbuilders can be and end up being competitive, not just meme.
Really excited for March17th and all the announcements. Let's see what the new year brings. People are expecting a lot of Wild nerf reverts!
Going through 19812 cards, and counting, manually, to figure out if a card has an out of date image isn't really a thing we can do. Our tech back then lacked some proper tooling and nowadays when we do new patches, we immediately know what cards need to be rendered again so we can kick those off as soon as we validate our renderer works with the new client.
For whatever reason, that card didn't get rendered again or it errored during rendering and wasn't caught. Since no one reported it as a problem, until now, it's been out of date for that whole time. Typically we rely on staff for these on a patch-by-patch basis, but sometimes stuff doesn't get caught.
That's some insight into why this kind of stuff happens though. I appreciate you bringing it up so we can get this image fixed.

Thanks for the multiple decks for different classes. I will update my old Noz deck with this
Is this deck Optimized?
Maybe I should have explaiend the deck's goal, as it may look like a regular teemo deck.
The three key cards are Ballistic Bot , Puffcap Peddler, and Ambush (And I guess Ignition )

Yu-Gi-Oh to Errata Night Assailant, Change Also Coming to Master Duel
I think it's the beginning of a new stage of the ygo, still in its infancy, but taking steps.
Hearthstone's Expansion Announcement Has Been Delayed Until March 17
Might as well find a reason to link this to Bobby Kotick and his yatchs.
This could be the beginning of series of delays if Kotick can't stop buying yachts to guarantee those orphans supply.

I'm curious which Blizzard scandal will ruin the reveal season this time.

Is them adressing us as "Adventurers" a hint? Haven't noticed this before.

No it's even better. We have delays for the reveal of the expansion. Next time they'll delay the announcement of the reveal.

It's outrageous, it's unfair.

you tube drop tomorrow?
Same here, got the packs yesterday. Nice to get drops 3 weeks in a row!

New to card games.
My strongest suggestion matches with Phaseshifter - an Elise aggro deck is going to be the most accessible to you right now.
Here's one of the standard lists. Also, that website is one of the best ones for knowing what the current meta is.
Is this deck Optimized?
I agree with the suggestions that the other two people posted. I particularly like the idea of including Insider Knowledge.
And to respond to your specific comment - yes, Hexcore Foundry is VERY good in your deck.

I'd imagine like the card back randomizer but a button on the Heroes page with a question mark.

As long as they're fixing that bug so I can play my Sr. Adventurer in Tombs of Terror without freezing the game, I'll happily wait.
