Honestly, I think Sinestra might be the first nerf candidate in Mercenaries (if they're going to do nerfs in this mode). The amount of damage Twilight Extinction puts out and her off-the-charts healing ability make her a massive threat.

I completed the final task yesterday, and damn I'm proud of myself. When I first saw the task list right here on our beloved Out of Cards, I thought, "Ok, I'll do the first few at least, but I think some of the later ones will be beyond me." But with a little perseverance (and certainly some luck) I made it through. I have spent almost no money at all on Mercenaries, but I have played it daily since launch.
My comp for the final battle (for anyone interested) was Brightwing, Anduin and Sinestra. I had Cornelius, Alexstrasza and Tirion in the wings just in case Brightwing had to bounce, but didn't need them. None of these Mercs are maxed out. As long as you make sure either Brightwing or Anduin has their mass healing ready for when Balinda does the 1-health thing, it's actually kind of easy. I was even at a disadvantage because I picked up a boon that sped up fighters, so I could rarely attack with Sinestra because she would have attacked at speed 3 and died before her friends could heal her at speed 4 or 5. Ultimately, her Twilight Extinction was the MVP.

Nah, mini sets usually leave a few weeks before the next mini set, not the next expansion. For example, Wailing Caverns was in the shop for 20 weeks before leaving on October 19th, 2 weeks before Deadmines. Deadmines was in the shop for 12 weeks before leaving on January 25th, 3 weeks before Onyxia’s Lair.
This time Onyxia’s Lair will leave the shop after only 7 weeks, compared to the 12 and 20 week availability periods of the other 2 mini sets.
Besides if mini sets went away right before the next expansion, Deadmines would’ve been available for only 4 weeks lol.

Dire Raven from Serbia was unable to stop Mini Ninja and with the former Demon Hunter Class Master Zoltan having lost the throne by failing to conclude his journey of self worth, the throne now has been claimed! Mini Ninja rides on claiming his second class in the season! Congratulations!

ROGUE NEWS: After giving it some serious thought, we have decided to continue the tournament but only by taking some very serious decisions on how to handle players from Ukraine! Russian players do not seem to have any issues participating at the moment and therefor we have no changes that directly affect them. We have decided to postpone all throne claiming matches involving our Ukrainian player and Class Master of 6 classes, Zoltan. His challengers have and will be notified accordingly. We must inform you that unfortunately we have lost communication with Zoltan since two days ago. We only wish that he is safe and well and for this madness to be resolved as quickly as possible.

HUNTER NEWS: Our Hunter finalists have been concluded! Dawaaagh from Russia is a brand new participant, looking forward to prove himself worthy! Anime cheater is a very old Class Master player from Latvia, who participated in the early stages of the Class Master tournament back in season one and took a long time off of it for whatever reason! Now he's back on track on his way of becoming the next Hunter challenger! CrniFOCUS is one of the two Swedish players we're currently hosting in our tournament, a rather new entry who also wants a piece of action! And last but not least Xllfrom Ukraine, one of the few Ukrainian players who actually managed to be online last Sunday and claim a spot of becoming the new hunter Class Master challenger! Congratulation to everyone for their qualification to the finals!

I still think that it's way more likely that all that pandaria stuff was simply added as a theme for this years lunar new year event, instead of being teasers for the next expansion. Mainly for 3 reasons:
1. they have never teased Expansions with skins in advance (remember Lunara which was announced before the Witchwood expansion?)
2. Why would they tease a expansion over 2 months in advance?
3. Most importantly: Why else release all of that pandaria stuff now, instead of saving it to release it during the expansion, or at the very least for after the expansion announcement.
Blizzard does change these dates sometimes, think they did that for the Wailing Caverns mini-set when Mercs was released which delayed the release date of the Deadmines mini-set. But to be fair, we do have 58 days to buy the Onyxia lair mini-set, so it's not too bad.
Also hope this means the next expansion is launched on the 5th

It looks like a very good way to address complaints regarding the homogeneity of the tournament meta, if the organizers so choose. As the video mentions, if a certain class is over-represented in a particular environment, the organizers can simply exclude it from all the lineups to force players to try alternative strategies.

Wailing caverns released on June 3rd, and left on October 19th. Stormwind launched in August.
Deadmines released on November 2nd, and left on January 25th. Alterac launched in December.
