Yeah, sadly the Mercs packs as they currently are (with no pity timers) can mean somebody finds their Legendary in 5 packs, and another will need 40 if unlucky. They aren't nearly as valuable or worthwhile as Constructed ones, despite similar pricing. The only upside here is that we can get them for free from tasks 16-18 for all Mercs, and a few from PvP.
Well, I do not even really care about that I managed to complete the entire event. I mean, it looks nice to be in the top spot of the leaderboard, but for most of the non-Hearthstone clues I just clicked on a lot of links on this wonderful site not even bothering to read some of the clues beforehand. Having said that, I do read them afterwards to understand the correlation. In a way, it is like reaching Legend, I just spent way too much time doing the climb and anyone can do it eventually.
Asking for hints is fine, I did the same. I am just saying that I personally will not immediately respond and give away all the answers too quickly because the moderators have spent their time to create this quality content for us to enjoy.
Off topic, English is also not my native language so that probably makes me a foreigner as well 😂
The only thing that matters here is our common ground: To discuss about our favorite pastime and hobby called 'Hearthstone' in a friendly manner.
(... which we have been doing for several years already, time flies when you are having fun.)

While I understand you don´t want to spoil the work of mods and fun for others, for some of us foreigners, it´s sometimes hard to understand the clues or the references. We just need more hints to get what we are supposed to search for. So thanks to you and others for that :) But I won´t ask for more hints, you´re right it´s not fair for those, who solved the clues themselves. Have fun all and good luck!
During Grandmasters Playoffs starting on March 25th. The second Masters Tour event will take place the previous weekend on March 18th-20th, and it will have packs too though.
The current economy is horrible in this game mode. I am treating it F2P and save up every pack from tasks and wait for new mercenaries to get introduced before opening them. Until they do something about the enormous duplicate coins issue and without some pack opening protection, there is no way buying packs seems a viable strategy. Especially not with real money.
This one is actually pretty straightforward. Just think of a food item on their menu which fits this event's theme.
Only open the second hint if this one is not sufficient 😇

Tried all Librams, all Studies - nothing. I thought the Eh, none of my business part is connected Mysterious Challenger, but it´s still a dead end for me :/

Part of the clue is a recurring voiceline and flavor text. Both are in some way related without giving you exactly how. After that, search for a spell that has that same relation which displays a book and fits the theme of this event.
Think about a long time popular racing game title almost matching a spell in the previous expansion. It is a playful change of wording, sort of. I think there is a movie with the same name as that racing game.
Salty players would probably say that the answer is not far from the truth if you ask their opinion about Blizzard as a company.

- Or just use the tried tested and true, king krush + Mukla cheese for the win. All you need to do is to keep king krush alive by turn 2. Shouldn't be too hard. Or you can lead with the dragons, and then when they die, you can immediately go for the cheese.
I might add that its worth spending some time getting Yulon's third treasure (reduce damage to dragons). Then your climb towards lokholar wouldn't be too nerve wrecking. Once again team5 have demonstrated why attackers in mercs are so much less efficient than rangers.
But seriously this task is quite hellish because I doubt any average player would have longxin by now. And that one would be ideal in this task.
I did this one yesterday with a comp that summoned extra bodies on my side (Tamsin's void taunts and Anacondra's beasts, etc). That plus a Hot Potato meant that I didn't need 3 Mercs damaged to 34, less damage (and less healing) spread across more bodies did the trick.
Still took a while! Cookie's target dummies would have been faster!
I have 2 remanining heartstone clues, and i'm going crazy since they seem to be very easy, i've looked almost all of constructed cards, all hero skins, cardbacks and ice related mercenaries and battlegrounds cards.
I would appreciate if somebody gave me a clue on "I forgot. What's the number for Frost again?" or "And now back to the weather where we have reports of ice, fire, and ice on fire."
I was going to ask about this one too, since my only idea was to go through all the card art until I found something with two heads that works, and I was hoping I could narrow it down.
I went through everything above 5 mana, and didn't find it. I wasn't limiting the search to minions, but that still leaves a lot of cards, even so.

You were in the right direction on the above 5 mana cost, try again limiting the search to expansions that take place in snow zones.
