No , it was pretty easy just the usual grind but being able to do it all at once and be done was great. I’ll max out the RT levels this time around. When you get d5 and have done all achievements mercs is a good way to get RT xp for letting the iPad sit while you do other things , especially while at work getting paid on top of it
Like all Hearthstone things like this …keep trying. Took me 4 tries on this one but I’m done with the entire event now. Glad to see blizzard finally giving something to people who supported the mode by preordering and continuing to engage in it
Honestly, no one cares what you feel about being "fair". Hearthstones monetary model is built in different way than games with single price.
As Suchti mentioned above, sale is the card bundle in HS. But, on the other hand, they could create for example of a Spring Sale bundle of 15 standard packs for 10 USD purchasable once. That would be nice and would make them a lot of money.
Why has there been almost no clue discussion compared to previous events?
I'm stuck on You can never forget the classic yellow Christmas tree.

I tried various Winter themed hero skins and card backs, no luck.
Hope this helps..

It´s neither hero skin or cardback - don´t look for the winter/christmas theme. Try to think about what resembles a "christmas tree" (there were many memes on that), when you´re in the match. Back in the old days it was connected to only one class, very annoying…
I just did Task 3, bit of a wait, and I think that's practically it for me. I really don't see myself taking on any heroics with nonmaxed/heavily invested mercs. Maybe 50/50 split for future events?
Have maxed/heavily invested merc players been having much trouble outside of the bugs? Genuinely curious.
I mean, it's been 7+ years, and not a single sale has happened.
Isn't that pretty much what pack bundles are? Instead of paying 20$ for 15 packs you can buy a bundle with, let's say 20 packs and a skin, for the same price.
I don't know how many of you play LoR competitively, but I just today found a post on the LoRCompetitive subreddit that has an article explaining all of the best resources available for a competitive player.
Here's the link. Absolute gold mine of info for anyone trying to climb the ladder.
As much as the astral/cosmic skins look nice, I'm feeling no need or urge to get any of them ; If anything, it is what I like the most about Battleground, that you don't need to keep up with any collection to competitively play that game mode. And as far as game board goes, I'll wait for whales to share their board(s) with me when we face off!
Holy moly, you managed to find a use for Maiev Shadowsong! That alone deserves a candy! Hiding Beardo to free 3 mana during the combo turn is a neat idea. However, a turn 6 Beardo/Maiev is a pretty dead turn (as slow as Thaurissan was/is. Remember warlocks use a very slow Runed Mithril Rod and the deck is still a powerhouse).
I don't know if a heavier emphasis on cycle, deck emptying and board clears/heals shouldn't be better against aggro. Stuff like Call to Arms, Kangor, loot hoarders, Solemn Vigil... At least that was my very old list. Yours probably is better suited for the modern days!
Oh, I found a libram version of Exodia too in my library of old decks. It's also more defensive and relies on discounted librams and tour guide for the OTK. There are so many ways to build the deck. The key, I think, is cheating Uther the earliest and Nozdormu seems to be the best for that, right?
Thank you! I always type straight into the editor here on the website, but I’ll use the clear formatting button from now on since something is obviously getting messed up.
Yeah, they've really dropped the ball on just "news" when it comes to Hearthstone. WoW has some good updates though they aren't as plentiful as they could be and I suppose they assume the remaining players just use Wowhead anyway which has a great feed.
Hearthstone though... Hearthstone's playerbase is mostly on mobile and they have no good way of showing them content so they just don't bother. It's pathetic for a AAA company to not properly leverage media. Oh but wait, they posted that meme on Twitter.
Not to mention that they don't put everything in their patch notes so key feature additions or bug fixes have to be tweeted about or discovered by players. =/
I genuinely feel bad for the developer side of Hearthstone because people have put in so much work over the years but their community team and marketing sucks at their job. Which.. is confusing because they have some great people. I can only imagine it's red tape that keeps them from doing anything worthwhile.
Glad you enjoy them! I myself quit HS for a bit recently but I found ignoring rank and focusing on having fun with decks in lower mmr and casual is a better way to have fun with HS in the current state of the meta.
Hmm, Subjugation can be premium. Saronite Armor treasure can help on the squishy ones (not taking critical damage). Focusing the middle boss seems important. But I heard of people doing it with just Nature and Shadow (Tamsin and Guff can both offer taunts, Cookie can give extra Health plus boosted bleed, etc.). Frost is another angle that worked for others, as summons apparently don't bug the encounter. So Varden's Ice Wall treasure and freeze deathrattle can buy a lot of time, so can Jaina's elementals.
Battle.net is not bad, but it could have been used better. They could have done a lot more community and e-sports integration into their launcher, for example. If I didn't read this site, I wouldn't have know about last weekend's Master's Tour.
My proposal which i believe is most fair is to not allow voting at all in the submission stage!
This would indeed prevent the people who submitted early from getting lower averages because they got too many votes. I guess the petty reason I dislike this idea is because I like being able to vote as the week goes by and make adjustments at the end, rather than having to rate 15+ cards all at once.
Also, as far as removing the finalist phase goes, I am certainly against. Making it to the finals shows that you excelled that week. It becomes very discouraging when first place is the only one who gets the spotlight.

Oh cmon, a sale is a sale. It doesn't feel fair if the other games got one.

Yeah: having one launcher is great, having your game collection spread over multiple separate launchers is not.
