I would never have guessed the site would be online. It was slow, but it managed to stay afloat which was impressive to see. In the years of doing card reveals and them getting so many of them, I've never been able to post one of their reveals within 5 minutes.
Yeah this is just way too specific. No way to increase the damage so you likely need something else to pair it with while at the same time you also need a minion on board to use it. Unless there's some crazy synergy for this I don't see it being useful.
Before anyone gets ideas, no this will never ever make Lightspawn meta.
Its a nice discover card or you'd get this from Wandmaker with a smile. But as a clear option it's not necessarily the best thing in the world. For one thing, this card also 'damages' your own minions, so its not likely to see play in aggro shadow priest, and secondly, this thing needs a target, so if you're running control you need something down, or otherwise you'd end up building a big healthy minion on board for your opponent that you might not be able to kill.
The best thing about this card is that its a shadow spell that costs 1. So for any reason you'd want to build a shadow control OTK priest, this card might make it in, as sort of ammo for Psyfiend
Tring to think of situations where you'd use this on an enemy. Maybe when they have a small minion and a bunch of big ones, and you go for a Shadow Word: Ruin? Still, really cool card.

The card's kinda decent I guess? it's like a glorified Whirlwind. If token decks are popular, I think this card will see play. The shadow tag does help though.

Now this is just crazy. It's worth it even with just giving it +1/+1, and Paladin typically gives a lot more stats than that be it through handbuffing, librams or stuff like Hand of A'dal. Sure, it's just a big pile of stats with rush, but it's so efficient that I don't see it not seeing play.
Despite the obvious power this card has, its a relatively mundane card that will likely remove one minion and then get removed itself, because there's no reason to believe it'll ever stick for more than the turn its played.
If it does stick, then its game over, because with something like Battleground Battlemaster running about you just cant let something like this alive.
While I think it'll likely see play in most paladin decks simply because rush is too important to ignore in paladin, I dont expect this to take the meta by storm any day.
At this point they're just slapping Rush onto everything to turn it from a meme into a competitive card.
I'm worried that we might end up with a bit too much handbuffing synergy in paladin to the point where there's just not enough silence in the game to deal with it all.
Looks good, but I think the rush saves it, without which this card is just awkwardly full of potential but will never bring results.
It can slot into libram pally and handbuff, simply because both archetypes suffer from initiative so badly its so easy to play around them. But with this at least being the third rush (outside of broom shenanigans) minion, it wont just fold so easily to aggro decks.
Among those things that Handbuff Paladin lacked, early proactive tools was one of them. While this single unit cannot make up for the entire archetype, Saidan the Scarlet will 100& be included in future lists.
I wouldn't say this is an auto-include for any Rogue deck: for instance, Garrote Rogue likes cheap Battlecries that let Field Contact draw cards and SI:7 Rogue wants to find its SI:7 to complete the Quest. Neither wants to be staring at a 7-Cost Hero that could have been something cheaper. I do like it, a lot, though, and think it could potentially do some busted stuff once that Hero Power gets rolling.
Well yeah, but then again, this is a board wipe on a deck that needs board wipes. Also, the Hero Power gives your Field Contact extra draws without needing Shadowstep. Shadowcrafter Scabbs reminds me of Loatheb as the tempo bomb played the turn before you go for lethal that also doubles as a last minute board clear if you're far away for Bleeding your opponent to death.
At first I was like "Wow, nice stats, shame it sucks overall because it's a slow clunky card like most Paladin ones" and then I noticed the Rush. Yeah, this one is good. Also, I thought Rush was more of a Hunter/Warrior/DH keyword.
I guess a left-right split would be less biased, but the top-bottom split does establish you being part of the battle better. The best route would probably be to have a second, reflected board with the Horde on the bottom instead. It wouldn't be the first time there are 2 boards for a single expansion (both League of Explorers sets (LoE and SoU) did for some reason), and they are 3D assets so I imagine it would be easier than making a new board from scratch.

I'd say it's a bit better than that, since you get to buff up one of your minions, and it also removes damage.
