But to be honest I stopped playing wild ranked the 3rd month of Stormwind, it gets very dull facing the same 3 decks over and over. I play only wild casual where I face a really diverse meta - sometimes the tier 1 decks but way less often. Therefore, my decks for the off meta series are truly off meta and aren’t as optimized for climbing. They are generally more focused on being fun to play and using some lesser seen cards and I wouldn’t really recommend trying to climb with any of them (people can just use tier 1 decks to climb). When I optimize the decks I am keeping in mind a very varied meta rather than a narrow meta like diamond ranked. I recommend people play them in casual or lower mmr (for example either below diamond or if you lose mmr after reaching Legend). So overall I don’t know how good this deck will do in a meta where you face the same 3 decks most of the time. I personally beat them more often than not when I faced them in casual but it was a pretty low sample size.
Authority is really good, I think it’s better to cut Mindbreakers than Authority if you want to put in Conviction. Depends on how many hunters you face of course. The thing about Robes of Protection is they can still target face while Mindbreaker completely shuts them down, and is also great to stop Even Warlock from drawing.
Only played a few games but my first impression is that Siegfrieddo has a point. The deck needs more damage output, Conviction instead of Authority sounds like a good idea. If Hunters prove to be a really big problem there's always Robes of Protection. Very cool idea anyway, positive win rate so far. Thanks for sharing!
1/3 for 1 with upside should at least be considered in aggressive decks. Because it's neutral it has more chances to find a deck, so I think that it's pretty likely we see this minion around. Paladin, with its many buffs, is the first thing that springs to mind.
Not likely to see play in Constructed, where a 5 Cost 6/6 that kills a 3-Drop weirdly isn't good enough, but I have a feeling this will see more than enough play in Arena.
I hope the "eat" mechanic finds its way onto more and more cards. This is a bit like a less-flexible Troublemaker, but what a tech card for a Big Paladin meta.
Lacks the reliability of Zilliax or Siamat. You probably want Rush most of the time, but you're rarely guaranteed to get it. (Also, doesn't synergize with anything that might double a Battlecry).
I picked Vanndar, and I'm having a blast so far. His discount creates some very powerful swings in all sorts of decks, and I'm sure the new expansion will give even more big minions for him to work with.
Very cool effect, love that it's the antithesis of Vanndar. Should do some cool things in aggressive decks, at least it gives them a new way to build their decks.
So Quest Warlock just found its new toy. Not sure if any of the other classes are as able to reliably manipulate their Health, so I'm thinking this sees very little play in classes that aren't Warlock.
"Billy Mays here for Warrior. Tired of not having a way to kill all those pesky damaged minions? Wish there was something you could do? Try Execute! But wait, there's more: Call in the next ten minutes and for just 1 mana more we'll throw in a board freeze! Just one more mana, and you can freeze all your opponents minions! Wow! What value! Offer not valid in Draenor."
Vanndar and Drek'thar remind me of Baku and Genn. The way it makes me think whenever a minion costs more or less than 4, I immediately think of either Vanndar or Drek'thar, just like how I would immediately think of Baku on odd cost cards or Genn on even cost cards.
The amount of hoops you have to jump through for this is pretty annoying: 1)You need to have a good Deathrattle minion die, 2)You need to have a good board of minions that you want to die, and 3) You need to have 4 mana. Zoolock could be fun with this, but if you've found a board that can carry this spell, it's probably just better to cast an AoE buff like Shady Bartender instead. Come find me when you've figured out a way for Zoolock to consistently get Greybough.
I'm not sure how many 1-health minions without divine shield you are likely to see on turn 5 or later, but this would probably have to kill 3 or 4 to be worth it. Sure you could set it up with spells and trades, but I don't see this being that amazing.
Quest is just a way more reliable way to win games. Once it gets nerfed, then we can talk. If there's ever a slow, grindy meta the Heroes will shine. Tamsin will have a bit of an edge with infinite 3/3s, but if we're talking about a really grindy meta I don't see how that's better than Jaraxxus's army of 6/6s. (Plus, the Hero Power becomes a liability once Fatigue becomes a factor. Did I mention that the Quest still exists?)
Better Bouncing Blade. Good way for a slow Shaman deck to lock down its opponent's board for a turn. Probably not great for a tempo deck because it will most likely freeze your minions too, but if Control Shaman is a thing then this will be one reason why.
Barorso Gla'cius! Definitely going to need a lot of help from new Shaman spells to see any play, but if they're good enough then this becomes a decent way to capitalize on already good cards. Similaryl to Kargal Battlescar, it's going to need its synergistic cards to be very powerful to justify being put in a deck.
I wouldn't say this is an auto-include for any Rogue deck: for instance, Garrote Rogue likes cheap Battlecries that let Field Contact draw cards and SI:7 Rogue wants to find its SI:7 to complete the Quest. Neither wants to be staring at a 7-Cost Hero that could have been something cheaper. I do like it, a lot, though, and think it could potentially do some busted stuff once that Hero Power gets rolling.
My knee-jerk reaction is to put this in a deck with Drek'Thar, but that feels like it would be too slow. Big Paladin already has enough stats, it doesn't need to run this card to get even thiccer minions. I don't think this will see play, unless Party Up! Paladin gets really big.
Vanndar is quite insane
Wow, what an amazing deck ! 👏👏
I can add that Muck Hunters are pretty bonkers, especially against those pesky Pirate Warriors.
My mind is aleady brewing more crazy combos! Like going all-in aggro with Leeroy Jenkins, Bittertide Hydras, Fel Reavers and Mortuary Machines! :D Who cares about those drawbacks, if the opponent's health becomes zero?! :D
Or how about the dear "brothers" Feugen and Stalagg?! :D :D
Or mayse some Divine Shield shenanigangs with Bolvar, Fireblood, Cobalt Guardians, Carousel Gryphons and maybe Psych-o-Trons
Wow, so many combos, can't wait to try them all! :D

New Neutral Minion - Gnome Private

Yes, the Fel Rift wad the missing information.
New Neutral Minion - Knight-Captain
Not likely to see play in Constructed, where a 5 Cost 6/6 that kills a 3-Drop weirdly isn't good enough, but I have a feeling this will see more than enough play in Arena.
New Neutral Minion - Spammy Arcanist
"Mom, can we get Defile?"
"We already have Defile at home."
The Defile at home:
New Neutral Minion - Abominable Lieutenant
I hope the "eat" mechanic finds its way onto more and more cards. This is a bit like a less-flexible Troublemaker, but what a tech card for a Big Paladin meta.
New Neutral Minion - Ivus, the Forest Lord
Lacks the reliability of Zilliax or Siamat. You probably want Rush most of the time, but you're rarely guaranteed to get it. (Also, doesn't synergize with anything that might double a Battlecry).

New Warlock Minion - Hollow Abomination
There likely aren't enough X/1s in standard for this to make an impact, and Warlock has better ways to clear the board.
New Warlock Spell - Tamsin's Phylactery
The amount of hoops you have to jump through for this is pretty annoying: 1)You need to have a good Deathrattle minion die, 2)You need to have a good board of minions that you want to die, and 3) You need to have 4 mana. New Rogue Spell - Snowfall Graveyard
Synergy with Sketchy Information, but for minions that are more expensive it's a very slow way to tell them that you want them to die.
New Rogue Hero - Shadowcrafter Scabbs
I wouldn't say this is an auto-include for any Rogue deck: for instance, Garrote Rogue likes cheap Battlecries that let Field Contact draw cards and SI:7 Rogue wants to find its SI:7 to complete the Quest.
