So… Luna, as literally the only famous Trans player HAS a spot on every event from now to forever? Educated Collins has the same race card as the only known Black HS player… And Slizza sucks and from the other 7 women playing I only know 2 (Slizza because her crusade and Luna because she is actually a great player)… How and Why did the SJW people won this but Blizzard Employees keep getting fired before Christmas so they don’t get Christmas Bonuses and why entire departments of real workers get fired when they create an union? How is having ads with the same number of woman the point of a game with 90% male content creators? Can the SJW riot over real issues with the company instead of how their ads are presented?

Like I said I am JUST NOW  finding out about this - I most definitely could not have contributed to it.  And for the thousands of other players like me who don't have twitter notifications from every single HS Blizzard staff member or constantly refresh the main OOC page or make sure to proofread patch notes or are scanning the in game rewards to see if there's anything new........I'm guessing they feel a little disappointed too.  My point is I don't really feel included in this big "community" event, despite being an active member of the community.

Then what would have been your approach to hosting this event? Blizzard chose to add a new achievement to the game and for the most part just laid back, eating popcorn. They knew people would start working together to solve the riddle. Out of Cards had its share in this too as it made more people aware of what was going on. That's just how the story unfolded. Celestalon might as well have been silent. I don't think his tweets have made much of a difference, except for yet again, making more people aware of what was going on. I guess he just really wanted to sprinkle in some hints that weren't really hints and for the most part only created confusion.

Would you have liked a pop-up when starting up Hearthstone to notify you that they have added the achievement to the game including links to communities where people are working together to crack the code? Takes away the charm if you ask me. In my opinion the let the story write itself approach was a huge part of why this event was so much fun.

I'm sure this's been mentioned but how about nerfing crabrider to have 3 health? It's really hard to remove in early game

Absolutely, I wasn't really involved in working together with the community as much, but it was a blast to figure out parts of the puzzle myself. I'm really glad they did this and hope we get to see more like this in the future.

As @Alleria said, the trick is using Lorewalker Cho and 5 secrets on the same turn.

Now in order to get combo pieces consistenly I used Call to Adventure x2 and Northwatch Commander x2

Don't use Oh My Yogg! the same turn you want your combo to trigger because it will spoil the first secret that your opponent plays.

The combo can be executed on 7 or 8 turn depending on your draws.

I was thinking that if you have Brann Bronzebeard or Spirit of the Shark with Horde Operative and your opponent have at least three secrets maybe works too, but I can't test by myself because I already got the achievement.

Edit: I just have five minions on that deck: Cho, Commanders and Operatives

Nice suggestion! That would such an elegant way to nerf Flamewaker.

In all fairness, the hunter puzzle isn't as hard as it looks. Once you've worked out what the value of all items is in terms of gold, the path you need to take to get more gold becomes pretty clear. Some sellers offer the same items for different prices, and as the gold gain of selling all items to buyers is exactly 0, you know for a fact that you have to buy every item for the cheapest price. Knowing all this, you're halfway there already.

That rogue puzzle looks like the hardest one to me, but that could also be because it's the most boring one of course.

Finally some balanced women-men ratio in the tournament!

Tidal Surge does not make sense at 4 in a world where Drain Soul is 2 mana unless someone wants to add healing to the list of shaman's weaknesses.

If they are more or less equal except for the control vs control matchup, then yes one will be squeezed out. But there's normally space for coexisting control decks as long as they have different pros and cons against other decks.

For example, much of the time between Frozen Throne and Descent of Dragons was underpinned by a battle between control decks that had enough dominance over aggro that they could turn it into a value competition instead of who beats aggro best. That let aggro back into the scene and forced control decks to choose who to counter.

I guess the moral of the story is a value deck is a control deck that stopped trying to beat aggro, and lost the right to call itself a control deck. So coexisting control decks ends up meaning a spectrum of decks on the control <--> value axis.

I think we have a good handle on what the nerfs will be (Crabrider and Mankrik for sure) and what they won't be (Tickatus, Illucia, Il'Gynoth).

Ten buffs is A LOT, and I would guess five of them are the Caravans. My favorite suggestion I've seen is redistributing the stats from 1/3 to 0/4. That makes killing them on curve very difficult, but not impossible.

Predicting the other five buffs is nearly impossible, so I'm going to select five cards from the Core set to buff with some reasonable suggestions and some outlandish suggestions:

Mana Tide Totem - Reduce cost to 2.

Tidal Surge - Reduce cost to 3.

Lightspawn - Change stats to 3/4. Text: Whenever this minion is healed, gain +1/+1.

Natalie Seline - Reduce cost to 6.

Menagerie Warden - Rush (just to Warden, not the minion it summons).
