Sad to see there's people who hate zephrys, because I think it comes with a downside too, you can't put any 2nd copy of any card to your deck.
But perhaps, some of the explanation make sense, because not only highlander deck can play it. It may be better if zephrys check the deck structure at the start of the game, rather than when played.
I'm mainly happy to be done with the Reborn mechanic entirely as it was too visually similar to Divine Shield
I've never understood this complaint. One is yellow and one is blue. However, I agree that the mechanic felt very strange and there was never any actual synergy outside Making Mummies.
Congrats to the winner. I'm a bit curious as how people got ~18 entries, which doubles my own. I guess I need to be more active.
EDIT. turns out, some replies I've made is not within the card discussion page, but the announcement of the cards. So, it doesn't count towards the achievements. *feelsbad*
I love that they are making room to push a freeze mage or a hero power mage into the meta, while still keeping the existent archetypes like secret or casino mage relevant. But the deck-building possibilities the new spell schools introduce are what intrigues me the most.
I would really like to see mage go in a direction where you can choose the direction you want to build your deck with the spell school of the spells you include, so you could build a fire, ice or arcane mage deck. A spell that discovers you a spell from one of each schools could tie them all together.
Lesser Emerald Spellstone is a Nature Spell for some reason, despite no other Beast summoning spells are like this (I can only assume the argument would be that it is a relic imbued by Nature magic)
Lunar Eclipse is an Arcane spell (like all astral spells), but Solar Eclipse is a Nature spell (are sun-related spells Nature damage in WoW?)
Balance as druid specialization in wow is balancing between nature and arcane magic. It have some sense, at least on a lore level. For example, all stars magic, like Starfall are Arcane, but all healing spells are nature.
Congratulations to the winners! And thanks to OoC for organizing this giveaway, hopefully there'll be more in the future.
I can't stress how happy I am to know about the disqualifications. Seeing a number of users spam the card threads with "solid" and "good" replies was just super annoying.
Ridiculous. It's as if the people who make this game have never played it. Most imbalanced garbage ever reading "when a friendly minion dies give your other minions +1 attack" leading to the quickest, most brainless deaths ever. Opponent builds token deck and crosses fingers he gets this busted passive and skyrockets to 10+ wins just facerolling. Nothing you can do about it. Your AoE's won't outpace their flood and trading is out of the question since you only buff them. It should be when the FIRST friendly minion dies. It's still a great pick for swarm decks then.
I had 16 tickets out of a total of 2622 in the entire giveaway, so there's no way I wouldn't win a bundle unless the giveaway was rigged kekW
In all seriousness, congratulations to the winners! I had fun commenting on every card instead of on just the most interesting ones (even if my analysis on some cards was very lacking) and I hope everyone had fun too.
And I agree with the disqualification part. I had some longer posts on some cards thinking about different possibilities for them and it would be a shame if those posts would be as worth as "might see play" types of posts.
DestroyR, they changed how Dormant works somewhere around Ashes of Outland. So when a minion goes Dormant, it keeps any modifications, including damage. Easiest way to test is Maiev.
I started playing around the time The Grand Tournament was released, so I never got to experience true classic Hearthstone. I remember playing against many Control Warriors, but never got the opportunity myself as I was lacking so many epics and legendaries. Currently, I have a near full Classic collection, so this is the first time I got a chance to play Wallet Warrior from the old days and I like it a lot.
Obviously a work in progress. I don't know if I should just use some random name generator. I'm just terrible at coming up with names. Just to be sure, was Witchwood the expansion that introduced Rush, or was that later?
Congrats to winners and thanks for this fun event. I've really farmed those tickets and ended up with 19 of them lol.
Thanks to the event, we've had some nice discussions with fellow users. I feel like I know every one of the cards, even the fillers, and I'm more hyped for the expansion.
There are many cool cards, even the most of the common cards are fine. I don't think of any super broken card. A balanced expansion, I'd say.
Wow, they didnt change Cannibalism in Duels.....
This exist you know. No need to create a topic if you just gonna rant for something like this.

Don't go DoD! I love you too much, and my boy will forever be relegated to Wild 💔😭💔😭
Aside from my emotional outburst, I was going through all the cards I hated in DoD, came across the likes of Strength in Numbers, Toxic Reinforcements, Ysera, Unleashed,Breath of Dreams, Mana Giant, Malygos, Aspect of Magic but none infuriated me more than Phase Stalker... that 2 drop is the stuff of nightmares.
How do you like Classic?
Dull.
It's much like Classic WoW for me. Great for a bit of nostalgia but things have moved on.

A full sentence would suffice. Not an essay. Just some nouns, a verb, and preferably some adjectives.
Forged in the Barrens
Ikr, I really don't understand why community keeps using it.
Isn't it how expansions themed ? For example, "This time; Freeze for Mage, Taunt for Warrior, Dragons for Hunter etc."
They use "Force" instead of "Theme". Noone is forcing anyone to play anything. There is Wild if you insist.
