Quote From Fluxflashorand a good ol' FU to the people who were spamming the same content over and over again - you aren't intelligent since it was just a waste of your time and you aren't welcome here with that kind of attitude.
Damn, Flux calls it like he sees it, and I respect that!
Thanks for the status update, and I'm sure everyone agrees with me the delay is acceptable. After all, we can't even open packs until this weekend anyway. Good luck to everyone, I hope your tickets are lucky (but not as lucky as mine!)!!!
Flux loves his Anti-competitive business activity too.
Forms a company then sells it and makes a competing one. I'm not a lawyer but I heard that's illegal.
I'm sure your criticism has nothing to do with the fact that you just spammed "good card" instead of making real comments, which the contest rules specifically forbid. If you don't like how Flux runs the site, feel free to leave. No one would miss you.
The new (updated) battle pass actually let me have enough gold to afford Sylvannas and have some gold in the bank for packs. I'm annoyed that she's come up just at the launch of the new expansion, but it's understandable from a marketing perspective.
Sylvanas has some pretty animations, and good emotes so i.m.o. she is the best hunter skin. (Or actually the only hunter skin you would ever need, like seriously.)
"Greetings. I trust you will not waste my time." Such a perfect emote when against someone who ropes on turn 1.
That's correct! The trees in Lorien are Mallorn (plural Mellyrn). "Mellyrn were similar to beech trees in that their bark was smooth and silver-grey, but their leaves, which were green above and silver beneath..."
The amount of burst is insane, and the RNG actually feels way worse than in Standard (lost 3 games in a row, first one due to Ragnaros RNG then two to Huffer RNG). Other than that it's some nice nostalgia.
Poison Ivy is correct Fedrion! I did pose the two questions in the correct order though (so Poison comes second). Think some more about R's guess about the trees but with more detail...
Its really a throw back to the earlier days when sticking a 4 mana 8/8 or a Twilight Drake can literally decide games. The reason why it seems shallow is likely because it was a simpler time when there's very few answers available to each class. Its no wonder that a 4/5 on 4 was back then considered a strong play, and that zoolock playing a group of trash minions can still win, backed up by a noticeably powerful hero power. I like it, quite a lot actually.
I would say that simple doesn't always mean shallow. For one thing its actually possible to me to read most of the game, and expect a certain combination of cards from my opponent every turn and plan (or die) accordingly. Card advantage is now a thing, since you don't really have many options to actually draw cards so every one counts. Initiative is a thing, and worth spending resources in gaining. And let's not forget, there are still very skill testing decks around in classic like miracle rogue, or worgen warrior, always a turn away from winning or dying.
Yes, there is in fact a limit to how much variety there is, and there are still a good amount of bs present like Leeroy at 4 mana, miracle rogue bs, double Ice Block, Wild Growth on 2. But any complains I have are washed aside by that smirk on my face when I have double Molten Giants with Alex in hand as my opponent gayly chips my health away.
At least for now, classic feels fresh. A nice little way for me to pass my time as I wait for Barrens to be released. At least if standard fks up royally at any time in the expansions, there's always still a place for me to go and cry in.
I also have this achievment while not owning every card. I assume they just didn't update the comparision it's based on- collecting a full set == collecting 135 cards of the set - but only the visible text. So with a good rate of OG Darkmoon Faire and the complete mini set, you probably had the 135 cards and thus the achievment.
I tried it and I found it... very shallow compared to Standard. The small number of available options and mechanically simple cards make the format for me not very exciting.
I guess i will have to change my rating of this card. After i've seen this in the Theorycraft Streams i think this is better then i expected it to be - at least if you can drop it early on , like on 2 or even on 1 with coin.
I have peramently the "unclaimed achievements exclamation mark" on the collection achievements, but there is nothing left to claim. That's only a minor annoyance, but what is even more strange is that I received the achievement for collecting all 170 DMF cards. Because I didn't! There are still some missing, e.g. E.T.C. which I never opened / crafted/ dusted. Therefore I still have the "collect all Warrior cards" still open. So it says that I own all cards of the set, without owning all Warrior cards of the set?! I guess the exclamation mark is connected to that second error...

Do you think the classic meta will change over time?
Perhaps they will relase Goblins vs. Gnomes Classic after a year.

Boring

With no new cards being added to the mode, do you think it will become unbalanced and boring?
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Well, Silverleaf Poison comes to mind, just for having poison in the name and the detail about trees are the leaves.

This strategy is making me always have at least 2000 gold in my account just in case. I think it was a good move.

What's the available achievement XP this time compared to the previous one (that had great duel achievement XP)?
I assume they are they same but this time without the huge duels XP available.
If so there goes my goal of reaching a higher level this time.

It's not main mode material for me, but definetly something I will go back to every once in a while if I just want to play something reliant.

I really like playing a meta where there's no randomly generated bullshit and the overal RNG is kept to a minimum (at least on the playable cards).
Still, I am reminded why Conceal was removed from Standard way back when, fuck that card

Thanks for the heads up on that one mate.
I've not tested it yet but display bug sounds totally likely.
is there an easy way to find the cards im missing?
Yea, normally it's "missing" which can be combined with e.g. the rarity, like "missing epic".

Poison Seeds?
The redhead is Poison Ivy, from DC comics, that much I'm almost sure now.
The first part though... I was certain that it had to do with dragons, now I know it doesn't.
