Sadly both are on the low power level side. Reminds me a lot of Frizz Kindleroost, which ultimately saw very little play. If you want to boost its power level then the card should present an effect that will persist regardless whether the minion lives or die.

I've tried to improve Blazewing based on your feedback. It costs 7 to avoid curving out Blazewing on 6, double Mana Giant and Animated Avalanche on 7 and Grand Finale on 8. Might still be too strong, but then it's a 7 Mana do nothing card. Hm.

If Blizzard is planning to make that change to "same experience spread over twice the number levels with the same total rewards" I think that is a plus relative to the current system.
Ok, I've rechecked my lvl and I am at lvl 42 right now. Sorry for the miss information. So at this level I should have 4250g including the 500 gold bonus from blizzard.
This means I've spent 700g after the expansion. I've forgot that I've bought some packs at the beginning of the new expansion in order to hit the pity timer before starting to craft missing legendaries.
Even though I've made a calculation mistake, the total available gold until lvl 50 is 5650 gold (Next expansion there is no guarantee that Blizzard will give us free 500 gold). In order to reach 7600g, I need to gain 2k more gold after lvl 50 which means I need to reach lvl 90.
I've collected 133k experience in 1.5 months. I need to collect 260k more in 2.5 moths. It seems viable but I'm definitely playing more than what I was playing previously..
And @Alfi, I'm not playing the game that much. Mostly 30-70 games per month until I reach rank 5 diamond. I had been using quest sharing method with friends to increase gold earned during an expansion. The new system does not provide much gold by sharing quests..

I agree it's certainly the worst designed fight of them all. The deck suggests that you should build towards an OTK with Medivh and Holy wrath, except that it doesn't work against a 100 HP portal... the 'shuffle a minion into your deck' is much better spent on Turalyon than on Medivh. Having Equality + Consecration is a big help, but consecration itself can do wonders - you can easily draw into it by stalling and drawing or even win without it with some luck too. The portal plays a sub-par zoo-deck and you have to do everything you can to keep it under control. So mulligan and play for tempo. There isn't much in the deck, but the Silver hand knights, Fight trainer, and even the ancient mages and air raids can help a bit. As soon as you stabilize your big hitters and HP will carry you.
As said above, you should have much more gold with this new system. With old system I was able to get 7000 gold per 4 month. If you got 8000 you had to play A LOT. Now I expect to get around 10-12000 (now I am at 7200 with 2.5 months more to play).

The problem with that is that you could chain two copies of this to get a huge discount. That got me to the second iteration of the card which goes along with Scargil. Elementals are way stronger than Murlocs of course, so this might be OP. Thoughts?
@lvl45 you should have at least 4450 gold if you didn't spend it. Plus Blizz gave to everyone 500 gold. In Total @lvl45 at least 4950 gold. @lvl50 it will be 6150 gold. And you have plenty of time to grind 50+ levels to next expansion and get to 8k-10k range.

I'm at level 45 as well without spending any gold since the expansion hit, and I spent all of it on DMF packs and I'm at 6k gold

For people like me, who spends all the gold earnings at the beginning of an expansion and then start collecting gold for the next expansion without spending any, getting golds in bigger or smaller chunks does not matter. But for the ones who spend their gold during an expansion, it is better to collect them in smaller chunks so that they can enter arena/heroic duel after playing some days.
The important thing is the total amount of gold collected during an expansion. With the new battle pass system, total gold earnings is very low compared to old system. I was able to collect around 8k gold during an expansion but now I'm around 3500 gold @ lvl 45. I don't think I can collect more than 6k gold with the new system.
I don't know why people stop complaining about reduction of total gold during an expansion period. Unless they increase the total collectable gold amount during an expansion, it will become harder and harder for each expansion to collect necessary cards even if we buy the pre-order bundles.

I played the Braum version several months ago, and I'm the one who posted about the Vi version on the CompetitiveLoR subreddit actually.
On the climb through Diamond, I was pretty surprised by the fact that I liked the version without champs better.
Braum is basically just an expensive Mighty Poro with a small upside. He never levels though, unless you build a very different kind of poros deck from this one.
Vi is basically just a removal spell who rarely, if ever, actually levels up.
So, yeah - I'm currently in the camp of not using any champions. It gives 3-6 extra slots for interaction or tech cards.
Time Rip is a perfectly fine card (not stellar, but far from unplayable), and when satisfying the condition Shattered Memory would be better in both quality and quantity of minion generated. So it seems quite reasonable to me.
The Arthas portrait IS available in game. 'Just' beat the Lich King in the Knights of the Frozen Throne adventure with all 9 original classes. I assume you can still do this. Unless you want his portrait from the final encounter, but that's definitely not happening until Death Knight becomes a playable class.
As for a male rogue hero: well there should be a new rogue hero coming soon (TM). It's been a long time since they teased one was planned, and unless they plan these several years in advance it can't be far off now. Who knows whether it will be male though?
Is it just me that thinks that the Arthas portrait MUST be available in game? Hands down one of the best portraits I've seem in hs. This and a male Rogue Hero, can it be blizzard, pleeeease!? I agree it's certainly the worst designed fight of them all.
