My biggest concern is that all this reward track tweaking and bug fixes are completely taking their focus away from balance changes, which are way overdue IMO. I've stopped playing the game for a while now until they do something about the state of the metagame.
I was playing against a mage and sure RNG was a thing but I didn't expect that much of RNG. He got offered 2 or 3 time an Evocation but one was from Wand Thief. I know the card used to cost one mana but now the cost is 2 mana. Is someone aware of this bug or am I missing something that can explain why he got it ?
Anyway, Blizzard knows all too well that totally random packs are better for them. They'd never go for a plan that cuts down on the number of packs people have to buy to get the cards they want.
There's nothing entitled about consumers asking for more
This is true when they are paying consumers. People who don't pay for anything but still ask fordemand more are the very definition of entitled.
Don't get me wrong -- I completely agree that Hearthstone is way too expensive. But the rewards track is not the place to fix that. If people would quit losing their shit over this trivial nonsense and instead complain about the loot-box foundations of the Hearthstone business model, maybe some actual meaningful change could have occurred.
But no, people fell for the reward track scapegoat ploy, and now Blizzard gets to keep its greedy random-pack system while still appeasing the free players (who never mattered to Blizzard in the first place).
I can see an aggro deck running Sumpsnipe Scavenger (so almost full PnZ) alongside Victor and some augment package, probably Draven as the second champion
Edit: or a midrange like this

Do you need to say "this turn" on the card when launch only happens once?
Technically you could give it Windfury somehow and it would have that slight difference
I mean it says one time.
The Launch itself only triggers one time, but the effect will still last until the end of the turn.
To be fair, the keyword, or rather its description, does not translate this fact well. It does seem that it should trigger once, on the first minion attack and then fizzle out, something like Spellburst, not that it can stay on the minion and act as an aura effect for the reminder of the turn, for example.
I think this is relevant (and fun to watch). 6 Years ago I watched the video when I was playing League, and it's still a sick line for Viktor:
I am the inventor, a bold experimenter.Join as my acolyte and I will be your mentor.Science will destroy you, it will build you anew. The gifts I offer now, eternal power; a new point of view.Steel will fix all your flaws, you will rise above human laws. You will mock them made of meat, they'll drop to worship at your feet.Forget now, the shame of defeat. Our victory shall be so sweet!Replace all your petty emotions, or keep your blood; you'll bleed oceans! All you little fleshbags stuck with your old hags, watch as their skin sags they're fodder for my labs.Your bodies are so frail. We will be your final nail! This is the revolution…THE GLORIOUS EVOLUTION!
I’m a little hesitant about the whole “gain random keyword” thing, but other than that I love this design! Viktor has a passive that you makes you want to keep him in the backrow though, so maybe the keyword he gets won’t be that impactful. What I’m mainly worried about are the RNG swings between getting something like Fearsome or Fury versus Elusive, or getting Lifesteal when you need healing. I kind of wish that you got to pick one of three to make it slightly less random. Luckily it’s slow speed, so Viktor will never gain an unexpected Keyword in the middle of Combat.
But not only that, it's a Legendary weapon which did not exist until K&C and for a class that doesn't use weapons (which also didn't exist until K&C), so you should change the watermark.
Oh ok ... never knew it wasn't allowed to use old arts - i mean the primer even gets you to an art gallery full of old art from Hearthstone cards ... and is every art used in every competition new ? or at least not from Hearthstone?
Sure Mage does not have lot`s of Weapons but still got some :) - i decided to go with the Whisper of the Old Gods Watermark because of the Yogg Theme from the Weapon.

I had an opponent make a few thousand scute bugs in one turn with a crazy combo the either day. I played a massacre wurm which would have put him at something like -4000 life. Glad I had that moment before this limit.
"There's nothing entitled about consumers asking for more" - you're right. But the people asking for more were not and are not "consumers" - they're free-to-play cheapskates coasting on being subsidized by paid players. People who already pay nothing to enjoy the game asking for more is the very definition of "entitled."

Am I missing something?
Sorry for the post I got it. I was thinking the card was Wandmaker. You can close it.

The Designs of the Class-Specific Packs Coming From Book of Heroes
I wish I'd kept one of each older one. I dumbly opened them when I had no common or rares missing for those classes, instead of waiting.

As for the cards, they seem fantastic and thematic for Viktor. I hope he pans out to be a viable champion.

I wish they would return arena key look based on your record win. I think 12 win key was called a Lightforge Key.
