An update. The game still disconnects me from time to time. Today it did immediately after finishing my daily quests. This happened twice in a roll. It's completely bizarre at this point. Again, there are no issues with my internet. I already disconnected then reconnected cables, turned router off and on and everything else is perfectly fine besides this game. This really gets on my nerves. I'm probably going to file a ticket in the support so that they check this themselves.
but if you're playing against a paladin wait for a 7 mana spell to play against oh my yogg because it seems pretty common that you'll get wisps of the old gods and a board full of 5/5s
It probably just seems pretty common because it's the only case worth posting online for 7-drop spells (that is, Wisps of the Old Gods is the only Choose One 7-drop, and it's broken impact is quite substantial). There are dozens of 7-drop spells in Wild, but no one is going to go to r/hearthstone to show off screenshots of the game working exactly as intended.
It's an interesting bug, and it seems like one they probably should have been able to catch (Choose One spells aren't that rare, and they have a unique behavior that ought to be tested for any example of "random casting").
So far i've only played against one paladin running oh my yogg, and the one time i did it bugged like that, so i don't think it's a rarity thing based of the amount of spells but more like the scarcity of times oh my yogg is being played
I realize that a few people will point out that Blazecaller and Da Undatakah are not bad cards when I included them in the section of "bad cards that got buffed".
What I really meant here, and perhaps what I should've written in the first place was simply "existing cards that were changed". That's entirely on me.
I just had a really weird game against Priest where I had Baron Rivendare and a board full of Greyboughs and the opponent cast Soul Mirror, so until the end of the game we just attacked our Greyboughs - my achievment jumped from 23 to 124 summoned ones.

OK, so it (sometimes/always?) casts choose one cards 3 times. It least it is easy to home in on the problem.
To be honest, it's a risk I am willing to take, and no doubt the Lord Yogg will be looking on us with disappointment if we were afraid of a little chaos.
From what i can tell it casts them twice, the first time it's as if you have Fandral Staghelm or Ossirian Tear and then it casts the second effect of the choose one

I'm not sure if mentioned somewhere already, but doubling C'Thun's battlecry with Shaman quest reward won't count towards the "kill from full health" quest. Learned it the hard way...
Probably should've guessed it.
Then I'm doubly happy to have just helped out a Shaman who was planning on doing it that way, but didn't have to after I left my board empty.
Does anyone know if the 'YoggChamp' achievement can be fulfilled by killing you as well as your opponent? It only says "deal lethal damage". If anyone has any good ideas of how to rig it I'd love to hear them. At the moment it looks like the toughest one to do since you really have no control at all aside from putting the opponent as very low health and praying.
Reached legend for the first time with ETC warrior. If played correctly the winrate should be way higher than 52%. Thing is, one small mistake can cost you the game.
I recently made a thread about an oh my yogg interaction that would have won me the game from being played against my opponent on turn 7(it turned commencement into wisps of the old gods and somehow filled by board with 5/5s) but there have been other cases where it did complete chaos the card is bugged. Unless you want your opponent to win the game over this please don't play the card.
Many such cases. Do not play the card until blizzard decides to come back from being AFK and fix their game. but if you're playing against a paladin wait for a 7 mana spell to play against oh my yogg because it seems pretty common that you'll get wisps of the old gods and a board full of 5/5s
The fact that Nazmani Bloodweaver is still bugged makes me really uncomfortable since I've built various Priest heavy decks that rely on big discount turns but, with this... *ehm*... feature I'm not able to play as intended.
I really hope a hotfix will come as fast as possible (even though almost 2 weeks have already passed with nothing more than an acknowledgement)
Can we start with some simple ideas to fix the system?
1. If you pay for the mega-bundle ($80) then you should get to choose your Golden Legendary. If you then have a poor pack opening, you can at least feel better that you got the 1 card you really wanted.
2. The regular bundle (~$50) should have you select your legendary via the Discover mechanic (3 Random Legendaries). You paid money so you should at least be able to escape the worst options.
3. Get the Battlegrounds Pass away from the mega bundle. Believe it or not there are players like myself that do not like battlegrounds. We do not like paying for something we will not use! Blizzard needs to find a better way to monetize that mode.
Yes, the game is still too expensive. My solutions won't even come close to fixing everything but at least they will lessen the pain. I'm very disappointed in Blizzard and there general lack of creativity with the monetization of this game.
I haven't played it a ton yet but it has been VERY fun and not at all Rez Priesty. It's done VERY well against Demon Hunter and held its own in general. Everything just flows and synergizes so well together in this deck. In my experience so far at least. If you like Priest DEFINITELY try this and stick with it long enough to figure out what you're trying to do. I'm not guaranteeing it has the chops but it's fun and feels like it has potential.
Thanks to everyone who followed up here! I really enjoyed the variety of opinions. I REALLY hope the monetisation model is changed to appease the player base. It is a business but perhaps reviewing what the community is asking for might bring about some positive change!
Put back the old system with the battle pass ON TOP of it so quests give you gold AND exp, also add gold/exp/classic packs to easy one time achievements to quick start new players with tonnes of packs (giving new players ways to actually play the game IKR?).
and so arena/duels don't feel as bad let people gain exp there as well (currently you can't).
On top of that if they were feeling a bit more generous make the pack value in general more exciting by lowering the chance of a 40 dust pack.. also another change that could be done is to decrease the ratio of dusting cards to 1/3 from 1 to 4 (and 1 to 8 in commons) so they don't feel as awful.
Another change they could help new players with is using the class levels to give meaningful rewards past level 10 it's currently capped on 60 and give terrible rewards.
That would make the game FAR more accessible, and would make sense with the increasing cost of the game.
Blizzard would still gain a lot of money with tournaments,cosmetics/preorders, FOMO bundles/adventures.. etc.
You don't need to justify Blizzard current aspirations for gaining in the HS economy if the players are happy they will buy whatever they offer anyway.IDK why they feel the need to make people miserable so they feel the need to spend money in the game, it worked of course but that's very short term at this stage, they got their mobile e-store score down by 1 and something stars.. now HS is last place in some scores that's very bad for them.. cause if a player sees the store he would probably go for the top ones which as I have see are Gwent and LoR.
I'm not sure if mentioned somewhere already, but doubling C'Thun's battlecry with Shaman quest reward won't count towards the "kill from full health" quest. Learned it the hard way...
At present, I really don't see why any nerfs are needed. The most unfair card that is currently in top tier is Blade Dance, where it usually just clear boards while also allowing dhunters to crap on your face. Proper way to balance this would be having them to actually choose between hitting your face and destroying the board, or give it the Blade Flurry treatment and make it cost 3 or 4. Its just crazy how efficient blade dance is compared to most AoE effects.
Other than that, I'm not really seeing anything else really oppressive. Seems like outside of dhunters, nearly every deck on top that isn't a straight up combo deck actually needs a board to function (with the sole exception of bomb warrior, which for some reason still exists), and taunts aren't so easily brushed aside. Libram pally is pretty strong, but the only reason why its currently terrorizing the meta is because dhunters are everywhere and its natural predator, priest, is down on the dumps.
I don't understand why people are so focused on Raza the Chained when the problem has always been Shadowreaper Anduin. That hero power shouldn't deal two damage. Priest has access to way too many cheap cards and card generation and they brought a ton of spell discounting in this set. Anduin can do truckloads of damage all by itself thanks to its refreshing hero power. It has always been ridiculous. As far as i know, Raza wasn't an issue before Knights of the Frozen Throne. The hero card pushed it over the top. If you use Raza with any other hero power it's simply unimpressive. Gives you a lot of flexibility in your turns but doesn't break the game in any way. Anduin's hero power should deal one damage only. The deck would still work but Spawn of Shadows becomes a requirement. And Anduin itself won't be able to just kill you with hero power. They would need cards like Mind Blast to support it. That should put cut the power of the archetype without the need to obliterate Raza from existence.
For standard, it's Demon Hunter and burn in general that are an issue. Neutral healing has been at an all time low since Zilliax was rotated and that prevents classes without heavy healing from being able to play a longer game. They need to tone down sources of damage that come directly from hand. What was the point of rotating Leeroy Jenkins if they just keep printing more and more direct burn?

Well no. The problem is the cost of the hero power. Raza Priest was not a tier 1 deck for many months when Raza got nerfed.
In general 0 mana cost is usually broken (also see Alex, and Gala Rogue in standard)
