Yeah again poppy ziggs is remarkable uninteresting in what it does.

You would have a hard time finding worse decks than Nasus go face and Ziggs Poppy play stuff.

They truly represent the worst Lor has to offer right now and don't represent Eternal in the slightest.

  • Platinum In Eternal - The Real Game Starts Now

Okay so typically an uncreative players response to I can't be creative is to jam 5 Champs into a garbage fire deck to see of they win.

You didn't win but most of all you proved you couldn't build a sustainable off meta deck

    Pro

Isn't that a change? I could have sworn gaining/losing armor counted for this effect previously.

  • Platinum In Eternal - The Real Game Starts Now

I really miss swim honestly. He would have been all like ooooh iceborn legacy back to 5 mana poros are on the menu.

And Majin is like overbuffed nasus throw at face?

    Poppy buff ziggs?

Like yes those things do happen and work when over tweaked by the design team

What else you got thats actually interesting?

  • Platinum In Eternal - The Real Game Starts Now

Talking a little bit about Poppy Ziggs I had said that nothing new was happening with this deck and that's true but they shadow buffed Poppy to a 3/3 again

Why I don't know, it was problematic before and it's problematic now. Revert her buff and this deck dies

Oh and they buffed Nasus from a 2/2 to a 3/3 so literally both these decks are only overperforming due to buffs and not list or deck quality.

And abomination got buffed to a 4/3

Yeah it all makes sense now both these decks are massively overperforming due to design ineptitude, not like being good decks in eternal on their own merits

no wonder I thought this stuff looked like garbage

Post Rotation Riot at its finest

  • Hearthstone Weekly Card Design Competition Season 6 Recap - Hearthstone Fan Community Spotlight

To be fair, your killer season was the first one, which had way more participants. So, I'd say your wins count more xD

  • Hearthstone Weekly Card Design Competition Season 6 Recap - Hearthstone Fan Community Spotlight

Lol half my wins are from this season

  • Platinum In Eternal - The Real Game Starts Now

Yeah the hard counter for thresh nasus is probably Nora with 3 minimorphs

Cuz none of the cards in thresh nasus do anything other than nasus

So you can just grind out their deck with board value and then snap minimorph Nasus after drawing a bunch of cards

    Should be pretty easy

What are they gonna do kill Nora with butcher aggro? Not likely

I think shadow Nora was a deck at one point so you can tripple vengence, tripple minimorph, Nora pkg, draw, maybe a few stabilization spells if they try to go wide

Yeah this is the problem with an unexplored format and saying a straight forward and we'll known deck is S+ when like we already have and know the counter in the format

  • Platinum In Eternal - The Real Game Starts Now

Talking about tier list stabilization Annie Jhin has already dropped down to tier 3

Thresh Nasus has 0 new cards and is currently being reported as the best deck in Eternal?

Idk I think this is what we call no deny no hard removal syndrome

Most lists don't run vengence right now, they are very ping heavy, and they don't run deny

So yeah at that point 7 mana atrocity is going to seem like the best card ever

But I just want to remind people there isn't a single new card in that deck, it is literally identical to what you could have run last season

    And chose not to

The reality is this tier list is still fluctuating heavily and should be taken with immense grains of salt. Let's see what happens at the Runeterra open and what people play there

They'll bring their denys into thresh nasus and then let's see if it's a 60% winrate deck lol or if it's just small sample size syndrome

You know what forget deny forget vengence hard tech minimorph in your decks that card single handedly killed nasus in the past

  • Hearthstone Weekly Card Design Competition Season 6 Recap - Hearthstone Fan Community Spotlight

Very interesting insight, I like reading opinions from people outside the community.

I agree with the fact many fan creations don't feel like real cards, because they tend to have quirky mechanics or lean on flavor more than real cards usually do.

That said, I think class identity is usually respected. Which cards rubbed you the wrong way in this regard?

  • Hearthstone Weekly Card Design Competition Season 6 Recap - Hearthstone Fan Community Spotlight

I enjoyed observing this season (I don't have enough creative energy to participate in something like this, but I read the forum threads and I voted).

It's interesting to evaluate a fan-made card against the real game. There were several times I thought: well, that doesn't feel like a DH card, or that effect doesn't fit with what Team 5 has said about Warlock gameplay.

Pondering that kind of thing deepens my understanding of Hearthstone, and I appreciate the opportunity.

    Thanks, all!

  • Anyone else experiencing massive bugs since Audiopocalypse?

I noticed the Duels "misleading life" bug before this patch, but I only saw it in Casual.

  • Return of Mechazod!

I was always puzzled by the art of Kill the Lorewalker. Can someone explain what this wererabbit has to do with Cho?

  • Hearthstone Patch 26.4 Brings the New Mini-set, Battleground Updates, Diablo's Return, & More!

Perhaps you have armor, ripper doesn't trigger if your health doesn't change. Armor gaining or chipping wouldn't work.

  • Return of Mechazod!

These comments that span many hours and years are quite hilarious.

This is easily the most difficult brawl to win if you go random...  PLAY with a FRIEND!!

Edit: Forgot to mention I still have some friends that were made while winning with them in this gawd-awful brawl.

  • Anyone else experiencing massive bugs since Audiopocalypse?

    I.e.

    * My collection crashes when I look for new cards (the designated option next to standard/wild/classic)

    * In Duels my Diablo run didn't show any armor at all (luckily, my shieldslam still accounted for 11dmg)

    * Also Diablo Duels Run: Misleading amount of lives (hearts are full though I already lost 2 games)

  • Blood Treant bug?

    Quote From dapperdog

On top of that, its really unintuitive to be honest. How'd anyone know how that works without having experienced it themselves?

In other card games, it's actually not uncommon for 'payment of life' to be different (and not count as) 'taking damage'. But I do agree that to players who don't have experience with other card games, it would be a bit confusing at first.

  • Return of Mechazod!

11 attempts. Boy, this was hard...

  • Return of Mechazod!

    It did!...

  • Blood Treant bug?

Lol, that makes the card almost irredeemably bad. I cant see whyd anyone would play it now. I initially thought it would actually be a niche play in wild at least. Oh well.

Even a 0 mana 1/1 rarely ever features in competitive play, and here's one thats only marginally bigger but cuts 1/6 of your health away.

On top of that, its really unintuitive to be honest. How'd anyone know how that works without having experienced it themselves?

  • Blood Treant bug?

As linkblade91 mentioned, this intended behavior change was recently introduced in patch 26.0:

Your hero's Health will still be spent when playing a Health-cost card even if your hero has Immune (or Divine Shield). This also no longer counts as "taking damage" for other effects.

  • Blood Treant bug?

I believe that's how "costs Health" works now: it is no longer considered damage, which is why you cannot protect yourself with Immune or something like Felstring Harp.

  • Return of Mechazod!

5 failed attempts, not worth the pack, not bothering.

  • Platinum In Eternal - The Real Game Starts Now

Still grinding away with my own aggro list wins are comming pretty easy

Thoughts so far the one off faron feels great just let's you go over garbage spam decks like Nora

But I think the newer Annie lists that tech 3 pirottes - huh wonder who popularized that

Might be faster, but I don't know how it plays into other matchups
