  • Blood Treant bug?

Has anyone else tried to activate The Demon Seed with Blood Treant?  I don't know if this is a bug, or if it doesn't qualify as "damage" since Blood Treant states "cost".   At first I thought it was maybe a glitch, but when I tried it to fulfill the quest and after dropping Blightborn Tamsin and it just beat the hell out of my health... this I think needs to be addressed.

Anyone else see issues with the new cards?

Maybe I just got lucky, but I did this on my first try

    4. Annie Kat- basically the new Annie exreal that uses bandle instead of P and Z. My experience with pie toss is that it isn't great but hey maybe I'm just not 5 head enough to see this list. Like is running 11 1 dmg pings worth?

It's all about Tybaulk, then copying him with the new 2-cost burst spell and play him again. Suddenly, all of your 1-dmg pings are 3-dmg pings and most of them can hit face.

I meant "okay" as in mentally?  Emotionally?  I don't even play LoR but I see you constantly having conversations, or seemingly even arguments with yourself in the forums.  What is all this, really?  Narcisicm?  Attention seeking?  About 95% of replies on your posts are just you responding to yourself.  So what's the goal of all this?!

I'm both genuinely concerned for your well being, and also interested to know what you're after with all these posts.

Best I can figure is that he's a very strong verbal processor, and (like most people who play LoR) he doesn't know anyone IRL that also plays it, so he posts his thoughts on here.

All of that, and also pretending that anyone in this forum has ever been his opponent, which I would seriously doubt. I know that I personally cannot ever have played him, because I'm on the Asia shard.

So Inge is just better Rakanishu?

  • Hearthstone Patch 26.4 Brings the New Mini-set, Battleground Updates, Diablo's Return, & More!

    Pro

I just encountered a bug yesterday: played Arcanite Ripper followed by Obliterate but the stats of the summoned undead did not increase. However, they did go up when I swung into a minion. Anyone else had this happen?

  • New Neutral Minion - Elite Tauren Champion

This seems pretty good for aggresive or midrange decks. It does a bunch of damage in the best case scenario, worst case scenario you make your opponent play a couple of unoptimal turns. (Like forcing out cards or removal they prefer to keep in hand or greed out a bit longer, but are forced to play to prevent taking damage.)

Sure this could backfire, but in aggresive/midrange decks by the time it backfires you would have probably lost the game anyways. So it's not that big of a downside.

Oh and because you add a card to their hand you could mill a card as well, which is nice.

  • New Neutral Minion - Magatha, Bane of Music

Seems really good in minion heavy decks. I remember people playing Book of Specters in minion heavy mage decks (Which ALSO ran a few spells. If you lost a few it didn't matter that much) and i feel like some minion heavy decks will also run this. I can also see this getting played in some kinda fatigue/mill deck. Maybe some aggro decks with very specific synergy spells will run this as well. (Like Totem Shaman, losing out of a Totemic Evidence is not a big deal and your opponent can't really use it... Unless it's a mirror match.)

  • New Neutral Minion - Grimtotem Buzzkill

4 mana draw 3? Sounds great!.. Untill you realise you MUST discard a weapon. And the weapons in standard are quite good, if not build arounds in certain classes/archetypes. Like Forged in Flame was good because you can get value from your weapon. Grimtotem Buzzkill lets you have no value from it. And plenty of classes have way better ways to draw cards... This seems really bad surprisingly.

  • New Neutral Minion - Speaker Stomper

Hmm. A little [Hearthstone Card (Loathab) Not Found] with tradeable. I'm uncertain about it.

This seems horrible in mirror matches, and it's only 2 more. Cult Neophyte is way better because it's cheaper and 1 more already disrupt enough. I can only see this getting played IF the meta is SUPER spell dependant... Or if you HATE Druids and Control Priests, which is actually quite understandable.

  • New Neutral Minion - Remixed Musician

3 mana 3/3 rush hasn't seen play in quite a bit, and i dont think these RANDOM keywords change anything.

Lifesteal is nice, probably the best one.

    Poison is pretty meta dependant.

Divine shield is probably the 2nd best one, but the problem with it is that most 3 drops have 4 health so it only removes like a 1 drop or at best a 2 cost minion. (But even then some 2 drops have a 1/4 statline)

Windfury is kinda meh. Sure you can buff it up, but it's just gonna get removed. Also nice 3/3 windfury, shame it's useless against that 3/4 on board. Also Shaman has Brass Elemental which cost 1 more but has 2/4 of Remixed Musicians keywords and it sees no play.

  • New Paladin & Shaman Weapon - Horn of the Windlord

Well this card LOOKS like it's designed for removing minions and fighting for board. In reality "Hehe me go FACE".

Paladin has a bunch of ways to give their hero attack with cards like Feast and Famine and For Quel'Thalas!, so they can abuse this card for lots of FACE Damage. Paladin also doesn't have that many ways of damaging FACE without minions, so they might just run this as a way to end games after they lose their board control.

Shaman might also experiment with it, but probably not. Last time Doomhammer saw play was mostly during Forged in the Barrens, maybe a little bit in stormwind due to the fact that Doomhammer had a lot of support. I'm not sure if a Doomhammer that costs 1 more mana will see play in shaman these days.... Unless they get more support for it.

  • New Death Knight & Paladin Minion - Cool Ghoul

    Extremely sticky minion.

In paladin it will see play just because it's super sticky and can activate divine shield synergy multiple times. (And of course it's pure paladin support due to it being a paladin card.)

In DK I'm not sure about this card. Blood DK might consider this minion, but probably not. Mostly due to Blood DK already being a stacked deck with not that much "wiggle room" for something like this. Frost DK probably won't run it, but Unholy DK MIGHT experiment with it. Rainbow DK might also experiment with it, but probably not.

Seems more like a paladin minion to me. However due to this being an undead minion, you might see this occasionally from discovers.

  • New Priest & Rogue Minion - Plagiarizarrr

Oooh, now THIS is the kinda thing i love about both Rogue and Priest (Tbh only thing i like about priest) in 1 card!

Rogue: This fits well into some kind of burgle deck, and pirate rogue. Also this provides some scouting which is nice.

Priest: Probably has better options for thief priest.

It's probably just a rogue card. But i gotta say i love the name and flavor of the card!

The only gripe i have with this card is that it's horrible in a mirror match. Rogue vs Rogue or Priest vs Priest is where this card is quite bad, and imagine rogue vs priest: you play Plagiarizarrr and turn out another Plagiarizarrr is on top of their deck...

  • New Priest & Rogue Spell - Deafen

Hmm combo card, so it can be generated in combo rogue. hm..

Rogue: Probably wont run it despite the fact that it's a combo card. You will see it generated a bunch though.

Priest: Maybe Shadow priest might experiment with it, but probably won't make the cut. In non-shadow decks why ever run this when you already have Shard of the Naaru?

Honestly why did they make a Earth Shock (Which already saw no play), add 1 damage AND add a condition?!? Wait a second... Taking bad cards, adding a small number buff + a condition... Did the person that was in charge of designing warrior cards create this?

  • New Shaman Minion - Remixed Totemcarver

Fun fact: THIS is the ONLY way to get Mana Tide Totem in standard, because it rotated for some reason. Honestly i dont think it sees play, simply because it's not reliable and fights for the 3 mana slot with Party Favor Totem. Like i'm pretty sure that Totem shaman only likes 2/4 options.

  • New Shaman & Warrior Spell - Jam Session

Warrior: Must include card for a few warrior archetypes. This is insane in Enrage warrior because it activates enrage stuff, in managerie it could just see play because it's 2 mana give a minion +3/+3 which is insane. Also it's a fire spell, so it does have fire spell synergy.

Shaman: I'm not sure how good it is. It's another overload card, but Lightning Storm is better as removal. I feel like this fits better in aggresive shaman decks. Maybe Totem shaman will run this? You might think "But what about the damage your other totems will take"? Well luckely for shaman there is always that one Healing Totem that almost never gets removed, so the self damage to your totems is no problem.

Honestly, if the buff was "only" +2/+2 it would still be insanely strong.

  • New Shaman & Warrior Minion - Backstage Bouncer

Now that's a good and flexible card!

Warrior will love this card because it fits well into aggresive decks due to it "buffing" something weak and it has great synergy with Anima Extractor. Managerie, control and some kinda handbuff deck will also love this card.

Shaman will also like this card. 2 4/5s with taunt on turn 4 is just strong, and shaman has plenty of ways to have a minion on board. (When playing against a non-totem shaman, who EVER removes that healing totem? Cuz in my experience that thing stays alive until my opponent removes the entire board.)

Also something to mention about shaman. This transforms into a copy, which is relevant. Why? Evolve shaman still has a bunch of cards from Nathria. And this way you can transform a cheap minion into a 4 cost one, and then evolve into a 5 drop. Also Baroness Vashj just creates another Backstage Bouncer instead of transforming into one. So i guess this is also Evolve support.

Overall a solid card that will see play in a LOT of different archetypes for both Warrior and Shaman.

  • Hearthstone Patch 26.4 Brings the New Mini-set, Battleground Updates, Diablo's Return, & More!

Has it been confirmed that Diablo only shows in Duels from the 5th to 7th? Can see it's mentioned for Battlegrounds but hoping Diablo stays in Duels for a bit longer

  • Hearthstone Patch 26.4 Brings the New Mini-set, Battleground Updates, Diablo's Return, & More!

Probably not or they would've mentioned it in the patch notes. Well, you're think they'd mention it

  • New Rogue Minion - One Hit Wonder

This seems really good... when generated. Maybe combo rogue might just include this, but i don't think so. This seems quite meta dependant.

Still, seeing 2 mana basically destroy a minion.... Man this powercreep...

  • New Warlock Minion - Fanottem, Lord of the Opera

This seems like an awesome card. This fits perfectly in The Jailer decks because The Jailer destroys your deck. The only "downside" is that immune basically removes Taunt, BUT the reason you still play this in that combo is purely for the lifesteal and the 15/15 stats. This really helps you stay alive post-The Jailer. (If Mal'Ganis died earlier in the game.)

I love this card, it's so cool. Also does Renethal increase it's price? I would think so. So probably good in non-renethal decks. And if warlock has insanely good draw, to the point of "Aggresive Warlocks can empty their deck reliably" then it might see play in aggresive decks as well.

  • New Mage & Warlock Spell - Reverberations

This seems like a great removal card. Does your opponent play a BIG Deathrattle minion? Just copy them to also get the benefit, and remove their minion with a ping or random 1/1 lol. Also this at worst is a 5 mana remove a minion + benefit for mage, which sounds pretty good.

If there is any mage deck that needs some hard removal, or the meta becomes filled with good minions to copy. This will see play in mage.

In warlock, i'm not sure. It seems quite nice in slower warlock decks because it can copy ANY minion. So you can copy your Voidcaller or Amorphous Slime. Hmm, probably will see play in control warlock decks.

  • New Priest Minion - Ambient Lightspawn

Hmm. Seems like a good overheal priest card. Probably sees play in that deck, but this won't be enough support to make that deck playable.

  • New Mage & Warlock Minion - Fiddlefire Imp

Mage fire spells are quite good, but warlock ones are pretty bad. So i don't really think it will see play, UNLESS Implock REALLY wants some burn spells like Fireball or Pyroblast

But now that i think about it. Maybe Casino mage decks in standard run this. Why? random spells and they probably won't mind getting Immolate in order to help win the control matchup.
