I agree with you, I also like "Mage-Shaman" cards so far, they feel pretty good. And the new Hunter Legendary wich got just revealed is nuts.
As a wild player I think Professor Slate wilsee play in the mode, as well as Ace Hunter Kreen. Then Disciplinarian Gandling could see play but I am not as sure for this one. Then most neutral legendaries will totally see experimentation (at least at first), as they are really interesting. After lots of expansions, I am surprised about their scope.
Both "Mage-Shaman" cards I think could be played, but not totally sure.
I also hope the new demon hunter cards see play. As I dont feel good playing it in its current state.
Hunter have no aoe spells, and not many damage spells are currently ran in standard, but this card is a reason to go that direction so.. We need to wait and see if this gets enough support.
Whoah, this is a very creative card. Rapid Fire is now a 2x [Hearthstone Card (Assasinate) Not Found]. Is this the rise of control/combo Hunter? I'm intruiged.
Not an amazing card, just because hunters don't run that many damaging spells that they want to point at minions, and this one synergy card is not enough to change that on its own.
It this does see play, I doubt it will be in any aggressive hunter decks, but maybe midrange hunters need hard removal so much that they are willing to run this?
Hunter has some good Damage Spells, but they are rather Lackluster as Removal. Kill Command is a good Example of that: It deals with 1 small/medium sized Minion, but everything else is problematic.
Professor Slate should be great for Midrange/Control, since it really helps with this Problem.
T5, play a 3/4 and kill 2 Things with Rapid Fire sounds really good.
Okay it's not too late isn't it, finally got chance to put my Arcane Fletcher to work. Slate is quite flexible i suppose, but maybe he is intended to run in spell heavy deck or sth.
Arcane Fletcher works as a draw engine , especially combined with Pen Flinger and Adorable Infestation (you play the Flinger, draw a spell, play the spell, get the flinger back, rinse and repeat).
Obviously this isn't a tier 1 strategy by any means (Hunter still has no healing), but at least now we have the ability to come back from a swing turn, which previously was impossible.
Still unsure how the rest of deck would look like, but a small dragon package or defensive secrets could probably do the trick.
So far SA leaves me feeling...

And of course it has vanilla stats. Why wouldn't it? I'm getting more and mode mad at this game's design with every expansion.

Honestly, this could make combo Hunter at least plausible.
If you use Alexstrasza you can easily OTK with Vereesa Windrunner (possibly with a few turns of setup, but at least you can now reequip the weapon with Hoard Pillager if it gets destroyed. Arcane Shot, Rapid Fire, Corrosive Breath double as both combo pieces as well as removal with Slate.
