This is such an awesome and terrible effect. I'm excited to use this effect, but I know it is going to be tilting to have my minions Rapid Fire'd down.
I'm excited to experiment with this in some kind of hunter deck, but I'm not sure it will be consistent enough to be any good.
Maybe one day we get a way to activate secrets in our turn, something like Explosive Trap and turn it into a effective board clear
Would unleash the hounds result in a bunch of poisonous puppies for board clearance?
NO. Just... no. While standard has a few spells that would really abuse this minion, the last thing that the class needs in wild is something that allows everything they do to be poisonous. Granted, in Wild there are a number of ways to eliminate a minion, this is giving Hunter an ability that would typically be left for "caster classes". Having this on the board and having and [Hearthstone Card (exploding trap) Not Found] go off gives a board clear even to the "evasive" minions.
This should work with Explosive Trap, if so, this could make sense in secret hunter at least. I like the card but I don't see it being very useful.
Hunter doesn't really have too many ways to take advantage of this yet unless they print some more it is mediocre.
My bet is this being meme only, but let's see what the rest of the set offers for potential control hunter.
I don't really know why but I love this card.
It's something I'd really love to build a deck around.
