I'm prolly just ignorant here but Why Doesn't Blizzard do More Crowdfunding Promos to Increase the Prize Pools of Tournaments?
By this mean, promos like the pack promo earlier this year where 50% of the income was used to increase the prize pool of Masters.
Why don't we have more of these? I'm thinking bigger prize pools would be better for all the players. For example, they could increase the consolation prize for players, they could increase the prizes from 3rd place below, etc.
I personally wouldn't mind buying more packs if they support the competitive side of HS.
I didn't play the game for some months for the first time after I started the game, I missed the last 2 expansions and everything between, I just logged back today and apparently nothing has changed, people is still hating the Big Priests :P
and rightfully so. keep in mind that big priest is so low tier that some meta reports dont even include it. the fact that the deck is useless doesnt stop dummies from playing it and ppl to hate it like decent human beings
My collection got messed up again. It looks like whenever I do a JSON import, it's highly likely to add the cards in my collection, instead of replacing my current collection with the results of the import. The result is, if I had a single copy of an epic card in my collection, then when I do the JSON import, it inaccurately shows me as having two copies of that card.
Is this a known issue? Should I make a separate report?
Yes, that is how it works, it ADDS all the cards from JSON import, you need to import only once and then manually change your collection on the site with any future changes. We know, its pretty bad, but thats how it works for now. We are working on a better implementation.
It's real problem was that it was an instance with a true audience. It was originally designed / tuned for a 10-man raid for levels 55-60, yet it only yielded rare quality gear and there were a number of tricky encounters which could cause a wipe if everyone wasn't careful. If you were just partying with a PUG, Stratholme was a superior choice in every way that mattered: it only required 5, it didn't have any especially tricky encounters, and because it was so popular that mean most people were already familiar with it and rarely wiped. If you did have a larger party, Blackrock Spire provided better rewards. And if you were 60 and/or raiding with an active guild, you wanted something that would provide better rewards than just rare quality gear. Scholo was relegated to just one time to complete quests, the Paladin mount, and fools like me attempting to complete the Dreadmist Raiment set.
I'm glad they attempted to salvage it with the 1.9 patch, but by then I was already farming Blackwing Lair and wasn't interested in backtracking just for the memories.
Did you get the supposed free deck from coming back?
Its been a lot better actually, far as standard is concerned. Wild is a mess, but with Warglaives of Azzinoth being nerfed things might change.
Its not been totally great. The adventure, in my opinion, sucked. Standard is somewhat balanced now though priest is still cancer. Dhunters are at the forefront, but no longer as abusive as it was.
If you're really feeling it, try totem shaman or quest druid. Lots of fun, but inconsistent results. Theres probably still a little time before the nerfs, so maybe try out control dhunters before warglaives gets the nerf.
Really hoping they go for some darker themes like with Naxxramas or Whispers for this, instead of going a really lighthearted one for it. As fun as a silly expansion can be, I’m much more of a fan of the former
alright, that was pretty lit. Guess I have motivation to play through that story now
I honestly wouldn't recommend it. It's... not great.
I mean, it also takes like two hours to finish, so no harm no foul. It's not very well written or challenging, though. At least the Challenge missions take some creativity, even if they are very easy, since you can't use Wild cards.
My first thoughts as well. Also, I'm now hoping for five Necromancy Houses with some bi-class cards similar to the tri-class cards seen in Mean Streets. If they don't do that... then that's just a terrible missed opportunity.

Nice to hear that you could escape Hearthstone's Madness for a while and found Safety in League's Insanity. ;)
There wasn't much noteworthy besides the Felfire Festival, I think? The biggest Thing I can think of is the Change to Twin Slice and the Anouncement of more Nerfs.
And outside of the Game you might have missed OoC's 1st Anniversary.
I haven't played much either the last Month (was more focused on MtGA), but from what I've gathered is that the Meta stayed pretty much the same.
They could honestly do that now, it'd be like Waste Warden but with a buff instead of damage, and you could use it on a single minion with no type or on a group if you're using tribal synergy.

Is the Next Hearthstone Expansion Scholomance Academy? Several Leaks Point to the School of Necromancy
I made a mistake, I thought it was in the Roadmap for phase 2. Still hoping for the new tribe though.

One example of this serious tone?
A Quick Overview of Warcraft's Scholomance
I did a quick Search and found that there's apparently 5 Courses at the School:
So, there might be a slight Chance that we could see some Factions with Multi-Class Cards.
...Or maybe they do it like they did it back then with Gadgetzan and straight up make up 5 Houses.

Fair point, but it's more likely that they will go on the goofy side to balance out the seriousness of Outland's tone.

Hopefully, it's not too much about raising corpses, and more generally about the Dark side of nature and magic.
The teaser looks promising!
