A very versatile card.
Assume Second Slice is another 0 mana: Give your hero +1 attack this turn? So a more versatile, and even more Auctioneer-friendly Pounce. Seems very decent.
I think second slice is like you said, I would've hoped they used Twinspell instead. They did actually use it in SoU and Galakrond's Awakening. So I don't understand why they wouldn't keep on using the keyword.
I know right ... its inconsistency like this that makes it enrage -ing
