  • Unexpected Combos

I mentioned this before as well.  It's won me quite a few expedition trials.

  • Day 1 crafts?

Dude, dont craft just because you think. People cant say that card is a good craft. You've never tested it. Maiev can be the worse card from the legendaries category. Who knows?

  • Illidans upgraded hero powers?

I will add that its a 1 mana 2 damage hero power.

To counter raza priest, there's no many ways to tech against it since they can easily remove bombs and albatrosses from their decks with Wyrmrest Purifier.

How is W. Pruifier a counter? You get random class cards, that means you can still get duplicates, I don't see how it is a good counter to Bombs or Albatross, because that Raza player still get some trash cards and this is the purpose of Bombs and Albatross.

Its being used as we speak in standard as a counter to bombs and albatrosses. Yeah, it can give you a duplicate, but chances are against it.

Outside of rogue, there's no way to tutor those cards out. And though its not entirely foolproof, it provides a possible out that may prove decisive. Aside from this, I much rather have a class card than an albatross or 5 to the face any day.

  • Day 1 crafts?

I second Maiev Shadowsong. She's just a Spellbreaker on steroids, a must-have for any Aggro/Tempo/Midrange deck.

I will definitely craft her after my first 10 packs, leaving the RNG of pity timers for other legendaries I'm more unsure about.

I will craft more after opening all my packs, because I have quite some dust and can afford it, but I am uncertain about the safe-craft status.

I think Metamorphosis will be much more important than Kayn (Kayn is NOT a finisher as Leeroy was, unless you are already ahead on the board) and Kargath may not be that relevant without Town Crier.

  • Day 1 crafts?

I've never been a day 1 craft player: I value my dust too much to risk to waste it on garbage.

The only exceptions to this self-imposed rule have been Kronx Dragonhoof and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, because the whole expansion was around Highlander and Galakrond so there's no way they would have been crap.

No day 1 crafts, but if I had to choose which ones I think will end up being must-haves, then it's clearly Maiev Shadowsong (neutral tool with a very useful effect that can be exploited by all 10 classes) and Kayn Sunfury (if this card, together with Metamorphosis, fails then the whole DH class will fail, a thing that is very unlikely since Team wants to push the new toy).

It depends on what I'll unpack, but based on that I think Zixor, Apex Predator will be another to-go card for Hunter players. Just too good to pass on.

Maiev is probably a very safe craft.

I personally suspect Kayn is over-rated and that he won't do as much as people expect, but I could be very wrong. If you like aggro then you'll probably like that side of Demon Hunter so go for it. Besides, he's bound to make you smile/laugh at least a few times, and if that comes at the expense of a Res priest then I fully support it.

Kargath does indeed seem like a good, solid reliable card that you can't go too far wrong with. Without Acolyte of Pain warrior card draw takes a hit though, so I would advise you to not dream too big about the prime card.

  • Day 1 crafts?

So I usually wait far too long until I craft those great legendaries I never open. Tomorrow though I’m thinking of making an exception, and craft those I really want and hope to open those good ones you want to have but not craft.
I’m thinking of Maiev Shadowsong (good neutral + old WC3 fave), Kayn Sunfury (probably key finisher for Illidan) and Kargath Bladefist (just too good to pass).
What  to you think of these?

  • Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Ashes of Outland Warrior Cards

    Quote From YourPrivateNightmare

Now this might just be isolation induced madness, but does Corsair Cache artwork seem suspicious to anyone else? Overall the expansion doesn't really have a Pirate theme and we haven't seen Ethereal Pirates before in Hearthstone. No other Warrior card of this set really connects to it thematically and it wouldn't be difficult to come up with a more Outland-appropriate artwork to fit the rest of the set.

Could it be a hint for a future expansion? Perhaps one involving Pirates in some shape or fashion?

Or maybe this is just some WoW reference I don't get

In Outland there is a zone called Area 52, which is run by goblins and has quite some ethereals. So I think it's more of a twist to make an ethereal fit theme-wise for a warrior. I mean, ethereals with weapons do exist, but they wouldn't really fall under the class of warrior, more like a battle mage, so yeah, given pirates are known to be part of warrior cards in HS, they "transformed" the ones in the art to be pirate-like.

Do we have any information about Illidans upgraded heropowers form cards like Justicar Trueheart, Genn Greymane or Baku the Mooneater?

  • Rotating Hearthstone Cards That Didn't Get a Chance to Shine - Decklists To Try Before Rotation

Yes... they did say that. But it was only there between the first and second nerfs of the deck, and that small amount of time was reduced further as it took time for people to return to the deck and think to try him out there.

  • How to beat unnerfed Highlander Priest?

Honestly I think they just made a big mistake when they decided to unnerf Raza. Raza by himself may have been fine but combined with Shadowreaper Anduin he enables one of the strongest and most uninteractive combos in the game.

  • Rotating Hearthstone Cards That Didn't Get a Chance to Shine - Decklists To Try Before Rotation

I'm also trying to play some legendaries I got from packs but I never used before... Such as Glinda Crowskin, I added her in a Zoo deck, I rarely play her, but when you can play cheap giants with echo, it's great! I have also tested Da Undatakah in a Quest Paladin deck, I never played this card before! I didn't have the time to find a use to Krag'wa, the Frog, I don't even bother.

You can shuffle them duplicate cards. Best are bombs.

  • Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Ashes of Outland Warrior Cards

I mean, maybe it will be used just like that. To kill a singular big minion. Alternatively it can always just be an activator for Plague of Wrath.

    Yes, play me!

  • How to beat unnerfed Highlander Priest?

Quest Mage and Darkest Hour Warlock should be able to have their combo online before the Priest can do much about it (barred some shenanigans).

On the other hand, Raza Priest can easily be a t2 deck, or even a t1 one along with Even Shaman.

Not oppressive, but definitely a strong deck in the meta. Possibly the most versatile of the field.

That has a big arena potential
