I'm a fan of the whole Libram package. I am looking forward to seeing how Paladin shapes up in the meta to come. The pure Paladin archetype seems pretty nice to play now.
8/8 body + most likely a removal + 10 armor. Its strong. The non-prime card is also pretty strong. Its gonna be a pain to play vs this card. All the armor.
Mage cards are solid, very solid. But that only depends on whether a minionless-mage build can rise above meme level, the same way hunters did. Two very solid cards in Apexis Blast and Font of Power works best in that archetype, and are the main reasons why you would want to play this kind of deck. Unfortunately, it will likely just stay a meme.
Both cards mentioned are very good cards, but not great. And does not substitute for cards that can be used to cover some of mage's obvious weaknesses. Another problem is the absence of any sort of win condition other than that randomly generated. So half the time you can get an Archmage Antonidas out of font and the other half you'll just be having Mana Wyrms. Its just not possible to run decks that cant even be sure of itself, which was mostly why Raid the Sky Temple just didnt work out.
Outside of that, cards like Incanter's Flow is outright broken. Imagine Alexstrasza into 1 mana Frost Nova. That's all I need to say really. Evocation is next best, being a massive reload for one turn. Play Sorcerer's Apprentice and go ham. If mage has to be about randomness, then this is the best way to do it.
Solarian Prime is absolutely insane. Playing this card presents an opportunity to just kill your opponent straight up from any life total. The spell damage is a bonus, as though you needed any more reason to play this in nearly every mage deck.
This card isn't bad, but I don't think this will make the cut. Unless you care about damaging your minions I don't think you would want to play this. As we have seen from Charge, just giving a minion rush isn't worth a card slot in your deck.
Unless you are really desperate to damage your hero, this card is just really bad. Maybe if it had better stats it would be worth playing on some aggro deck, but as a 1/4 it is just really really bad.
Thanks very much! I'm relatively new to writing articles (I've always considered myself to be more of a creative writer) so it's great to see that there's at least some interest in these Standard articles :)
Reno Galaxy Spiteful Waygate Mage
Love it, thanks for sharing. towards end of each expansion i too end up doing my 'greed' decks. fun times, trying this now!
New Mage Spell - Evocation
Obviously very rng dependant, but will help you more often than not. And it’s safer than the Yogg Box.
Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Ashes of Outland Mage Cards
Thanks to Incanter's Flow, Luna's Pocket Galaxy can be played on turn 5 if you're lucky enough in Wild.
New Mage Spell - Font of Power
Good filler card.Messenger Raven sees play and this could be better in certain decks.
New Mage Spell - Incanter's Flow
Really good. Can be played in most decks
New Hunter Spell - Pack Tactics
Good secret that’s hard to play around, really shines in deathrattle decks.
New Paladin Minion - Aldor Truthseeker
I'm a fan of the whole Libram package. I am looking forward to seeing how Paladin shapes up in the meta to come. The pure Paladin archetype seems pretty nice to play now.
New Paladin Weapon - Underlight Angling Rod
Giving it 5-star purely because this is one badass fishing pole. But its a weapon. Uther is about to hit someone in their face with a fishing pole!
New Warrior Minion - Kargath Bladefist
8/8 body + most likely a removal + 10 armor. Its strong. The non-prime card is also pretty strong. Its gonna be a pain to play vs this card. All the armor.

The Ashes of Outland Demon Hunter Prologue is Live!
Oh nice! Thanks!
New Neutral Minion - Maiev Shadowsong
Another versatile card. Good both in aggro and control. Stronger than silence. 10 out of 10.
New Warlock Minion - Kanrethad Ebonlocke
"your demons cost 1 less" part make it auto include in zoo locks.
New Warlock Minion - Enhanced Dreadlord
In Wild it's amazing demon to ressurect and cheat out.
New Neutral Minion - Kael'thas Sunstrider
We already see it being played in wild. Fun card, with ability to build a deck around it.
Ashes of Outland Wishlist
1. Lady Liadrin
2. Shadowjeweler Hanar
3. Zixor, Apex Predator
4. Evocation
5. Murgur Murgurgle / Akama
New Neutral Minion - Al'ar
I don't know what they drank designing this. Trash.
New Warrior Minion - Kargath Bladefist
It's playable in ALL warrior decks (besides odd warrior). [Hearthstone Card (Kargath Prime) Not Found] is just too good not to be played.
New Neutral Minion - Rocket Augmerchant
This card isn't bad, but I don't think this will make the cut. Unless you care about damaging your minions I don't think you would want to play this. As we have seen from Charge, just giving a minion rush isn't worth a card slot in your deck.
New Paladin Spell - Libram of Hope
I dislike the libram theme, but if anything, that's a better one.
New Neutral Minion - Soulbound Ashtongue
Unless you are really desperate to damage your hero, this card is just really bad. Maybe if it had better stats it would be worth playing on some aggro deck, but as a 1/4 it is just really really bad.
New Hunter Minion - Beastmaster Leoroxx
8 mana summon 3 beasts from hand + good body. Man that's a prettttty good card. So much combo potential.
Deconstructing Standard - Mono Red Aggro
Thanks very much! I'm relatively new to writing articles (I've always considered myself to be more of a creative writer) so it's great to see that there's at least some interest in these Standard articles :)
New Druid Minion - Marsh Hydra
This. However in standard - much worse.
New Neutral Minion - Ethereal Augmerchant
Spell damage isn't very good, so this card isn't very good. This is probably the worst augment card.
