I'm a little iffy on the "commander" cards being added through the Companion mechanic, I think it might be a bit too powerful, but Wizards is above average when it comes to card game balance and we haven't see the full set of cards yet so I'll revisit that thought later on.
Have Team 5 announced what kind of paid content will be released after the Outlands expansion? Is it more chapters of this Demon Hunter story?
I'd like to budget for it if it's non skippable (some this year have been, last one wasn't but they gave us a heads up before I spent all gold on DoD packs).
Love some lore details, Illidan eyes are golden, Malfurion have blueish instead and little horns becuase he is not yet Archdruid. Ravencrest and his moonguard, Jarod Shadowsong, Queen Azshara, Lady Vashj as a night elf.
It may see play depending on what other decks are popular. If there are a ton of 1-2 drops with 2 health in very aggressive decks than you may consider playing this to help you stay alive for the first few rounds.
So I'm puzzled. I finished the Prologue, but the Story toggle says that, that part will be available "soon". So that means that will be unlockable at 7th April as well? Plus, if we got the basic and ini sets now, that'll have no rewards?

I won't be playing them until they get nerfed. Don't see the need in getting invested in their strategies if the best one will probably get the axe anyways.
As long as there is already stuff on the board this should be pretty easy to trigger. This may see play in some board centered strategy where it won't be very hard to get a damaged minion on the field.
Whether DH feels new and fun all rests on the 1 mana hero power and the outcast mechanic, because beyond that it doesn't do anything especially novel imo.
I personally don't expect to find the class that fun since it brings together all the parts of rogue and warlock I never liked much (aggro-tempo and big demon cheating respectively). But that's just me, and I understand them not starting the class off with the shenanigans I most enjoy in other classes.
On the plus side: there's a ton of awesome stuff here. The mutate mechanic might be the coolest CCG mechanic I've ever seen, the "monster" theme is very exciting, and who doesn't want to play with Godzilla and Mothra?
On the minus side: it's still not enough to call me back to MtG, and if this can't do it for me that means nothing ever will. :-/ But I do sincerely hope that those of you who are still in it enjoy this on my behalf.
You were all fools. Corina is now super popular--she's in like 10-20% of decks right now, as people really love how she can answer bannerman. Most decks run Elise, Ledros, Corina, and just tons of removal spells.
Never underestimate how quickly the meta can change everything in this game.

This is more than a meme. A more controlled [Hearthstone Card (Arch-villian Rafaam) Not Found] for the late game when your hand is too weak. Demons are often strong and the buff is really good

New Demon Hunter Spell - Inner Demon
If you manage to have Aldrachi Warblades equiped with some Kael'thas Sunstrider and making a combo with Twin Slice or Blur, the healing amount is insane, this spell is just a win condition by itself.
