  • New Druid Spell - Bogbeam

If I ever seen one of those useless "turn its cost into 0 mana" again, it all has to do with Kael'thas Sunstrider. This card is just pretty much worse than other packfillers.

  • Felfin Navigator

    Mad Max murlocs, 'nuff said.

  • New Mage Spell - Font of Power

That's an insane value for spending 1 mana. They don't want to change Crystalsong Portal for some reasons, like mage has weak minions and druid has strong minions.

I think there will be a rival battle between spell mage and spell druid since druid got Glowfly Swarm and Fungal Fortunes as a new cards.

  • New Druid Spell - Overgrowth

Need clarification on Excess Mana, the least explained mechanic in the game.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Ashtongue Battlelord

    rip tastingo

Please no day9, that dudes annoying as heck...

  • New Druid Spell - Bogbeam

    Yeah.

    Or maybe just play Wrath.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Kayn Sunfury

    That's an annoying card.

It's hard to predict what illdan's playstyle is, but this card will be the reason to play smorc archetype, you have so many card draws too.

  • New Rogue Minion - Cursed Vagrant

That's a huge value, I can't tell if it's playable or not, but I really love this card as its strength and design. Slow but pretty strong 7-drop so far.

  • Priest is Getting an Overhaul! An Analytical Dive into the New and Changed Cards

I somehow missed that. Welp, Priest will never be the same.

  • New Priest Spell - Renew

1 mana discover a spell is great. With 3 health restoration, it's a great card.

I think the average player is more likely to enjoy random effects than a pro is.

Extremely random effects swinging games in your favour feels good if you're not a great player; mitigating the effects of randomness by building your deck correctly feels great for players of any skill level; overcoming or playing around some random effect can also feel great (though admittedly this does feel bad if you fail to do that); even just playing a bunch of random cards for fun as you mentioned is super fun, since games are always different.

I was one of those campaigning for unnerfed Yogg though, so I may be biased =P

I didn't say all or even a majority of matches are determined by RNG. I said far too many are. It's may only be ~20% determined by RNG, but that's gotten to be too much for me now. That figure might not be a problem in the pros because tournaments are based on best of 3 or best of 5, but when I'm just playing 1-2 games on my lunch break, 20% is too common.

Plus, my complaint isn't so much the number of games that are determined by RNG. It's the new cards that encourage players to rely on RNG, like the new casino mage prime card. How would a pro bend that RNG to their will? Maybe they can't and the card turns out to be too inconsistent to be used in serious decks, but how would that be a good thing? It would suck for mage players if one of their two legendary cards this expansion was unplayable because of inconsistency. Blizzard could have made another fun, playable card in that slot, but they had to stick with their RNG focus.

Even if Blizzard eliminates all RNG mechanics from cards, their limit of 1 legendary per deck will always be a significant RNG factor. Many legendary cards encourage some fun decks built around them, but how consistent are they if they're near the bottom of your deck? Some types of legendary cards got around that, like quests, but most leave you to find that 1 card in your deck. That may not be a huge problem in HS, but it's another reason I enjoy LoR much more because you can put 3 of any card in your deck.

  • New Warlock Minion - Darkglare

My most favorite card this expansion. Refreshing two mana crystals is awesome!

I can understand that. You are also right for your point of view. I am not judging you. If you don't like rng and it bores you to see evolve shaman and random spell mage every time what should I say?

I decided to play both games at the same time. With new no-duplicates rule of hearthstone and f2p friendly model of LoR i believe that I can spare enough time to both games. I like both of them for their aspects. I also like MTG but that game is so expensive for my wallet. So i can't play that like how i do for LoR and HS.

When I want to play some rng heavy game i will just play HS and when I want to play a more consistent game, I will play LoR. Games for people to entertain themselves after all.

Thanks for your suggestion to other people btw. I don't know why people downvoted you. You just suggested something that you believe it is good for players who got bored from RNG and you were right that LoR isn't RNG-heavy so that is a wise suggestion if you don't like rng so much with MTG:A of course. That game isn't also RNG heavy but I believe that Land mechanic of the game is kind of primitive for digital card games. I mean, D-CCGs already solved that problem and it is not problem that you can't draw your lands anymore. That mechanic with being an expensive game is keeping some players out of the MTG:A. It is like that for me at least. So i will stick with HS and LoR for my CCG gaming.

  • This Week's Tavern Brawl is "Return of Mechazod!" and Rewards a Classic Pack

I disagree. If you open it now you have a chance to get a golden Spellbreaker for example and get 400 free dust when it rotates.

  • Pure Libram Paladin

Blessing of Wisdom also can be used on an Enemy minion making them early game maybe less likely to swing with it or allow you to get a card on there turn before your own

  • All Card Flavor Text for the Ashes of Outland Hearthstone Expansions

So many good Jokes. The Hunter ones are awesome. Also mage has a (comic) sans Joke. That's Nice.

Also libram of hope, blackjack stunner, maiev & bonechewer are really good as well.

  • New Priest Minion - Reliquary of Souls

this is actually a small buff to that shaman legendary weapon that summons legendary minions at the same cost of spells.

play lightning bolt, get this, then get the prime minion later.

    No more Chameleos

  • New Priest Minion - Dragonmaw Sentinel

2/4 with lifesteal is pretty great! Lifesteal should not be underestimated.

    Best 2-drop ever for priest.

  • New Priest Spell - Soul Mirror

    This is NEAT

  • New Neutral Minion - Disguised Wanderer

man I miss Diablo 2 now

  • New Mage Spell - Deep Freeze

In Wild this is a great card for BSM, I like it :)

  • New Neutral Minion - Disguised Wanderer

Might be okay with cheap priest buffs.
