Mok'Nathal Lion looks like a meta-defining card. "4 mana deal 5 to a minion" is already very fair removal for Hunter. Add in just about any decent deathrattle and you're looking at a massive tempo swing.
As a big yordle fan, I'm cautiously optimistic about the Bandle City region, mainly because over the years, Riot have made it quite clear that yordles are just punching bags for everyone else, that and the potential placement of Lulu as an Ionian champion makes me want to rip my hair out. I really hope that doesn't end up being the case.
Maybe someone can clarify this with someone from the dev team? As it stands, its intuitive that it doesnt do damage to itself, but we can never know until its confirmed.
Depending on whether you activate the battlecry, this is either a slightly understated elemental or Consecration with a 1 mana 4/4 attached (since it deals damage to all minions).
Ultimately, I think this is a good card, but will struggle in search of a home. Shaman has enough AOE to play a Big Spell/The Fist of Ra-den Shaman without this, and probably doesn't want a lower power symmetric AOE if they're playing a board-centric aggro or midrange shaman.
Its a solid card that has a reasonably easy condition.
But solid cards just dont cut it in standard. Card's gotta be broken, or contributes to broken cards. If I have one card less to a deck, I'd be thinking about this card, to be honest. But its just not a mandatory inclusion.
Hunters Deathrattle Support is just great atm. This and Nine Lives alone are already pretty powerful. The only Thing missing are some more strong Deathrattles outside of the new Legendary Beast.
Most Priests run Stuff like Penance, Forbidden Words and the Shadow Word Cards anyway. You can easily slot one of this Card into your Deck and combine it with 1 or 2 Removals.
Its flexible, its a beast, hunters can tutor this out easily, it also has rush in case you're wondering if silences can put it down. There's just so much value you can get out of this one minion.
Strong card in general, but i am not sure about standard , because good DR cards (Mechs) rotating out.
But the artwork is a bit confusing. It doesn't look like the typical, cartoonish, artwork of HS. It looks a lot like Lion king, Disney, even Mtg style. I don't know, maybe they are just testing the waters…
I agree with you that the board wipe might be more important than the body in some cases, but the combo with Crazed Netherwing will result in the same board state as the one with Hellfire: Magtheridons battlecry destroys ALL minions.
I was thinking they had some stock of unused art, with a female counterpart to Savannah Highmane, and they were like, "When are we gonna use this damn thing?"

The artwork is very MT:G. Reminds me of Natural Order.
Mighty fine card though. Looking forward to trying this out.
Demon Hunter Initiate
It rotates with the expansions from the year of the dragon and it is totally free!
Risky Skipper
Just realised this card art does not include the pirate tag

The pure elemental support (Elementary Reaction, Earthen Might, Menacing Nimbus) is rotating, and the best Shaman AOE cards in Standard (Earthquake and Hagatha's Scheme) aren't. Worse still, a lot of Shaman spells result in overload, meaning that Shattered Rumbler may have to compete with Cumulo-Maximus for a deck slot.

New Shaman Minion - Shattered Rumbler
Is there a good 4 Mana Shaman Spell that you want this to follow up with?

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the wording a bit weird? Shouldn't it be "deal 2 damage to all other minions" like with Kronx Dragonhoof's Annihilation?
Edit: even other people on Twitter are asking the same thing.

The AoE is a bit weak for 5 Mana, but you also get a reasonably statted Minion with. The Condition is also very easy to fulfill.

Cost too much, but there's something to be said to a card that destroys the opponent's board and develops a minion.
Its not a glamorous card, but all round solid card.

Combos well with Augmented Porcupine, Zixor, Apex Predator, and Teron Gorefiend to name but a few. I'm sure there's more to come.
Solid card, and a rare too.
Mok'nathal lion? What's the difference? lf this was born in a zoo, it'll be Zoo lion.

Stupid Lion King remake found it's way into Hearthstone. IS NOTHING SACRED ANYMORE?
Will there be changes to Sacrificial Pact?
