All the others make sense. Cleric and Spirit were a given and Holy Fire and Shadow Form, while not really problematic, are simply relics of a playstyle they won't support, so there's really no reason to keep them around (even though I'm still pissed why they decided to keep Mindgames around out of all things).
However Auchenai was never really a problem, nor does it depend on specific support. They've always printed healing effects for Priest that don't just target allies. Auchenai + Circle was one of the most iconic combos in the game in the old days. The only reason I could possibly imagine is that they're printing some sick healing spells that would absolutely wreck with Soulpriest still around. I guess we'll see..
So, I already have a Leeroy: if I craft a golden Leeroy then I can sell it and earn a total of 1600 dust for normal Leeroy and 3600 +400 for golden Leeroy?
In Youtube videos of streamers Phase one have all things unlocked. No "secret" things. Also the same is on their own Official Site - on roadmap with 3 phases some are locked in Phase 1.
In detailed image there are no locked ones:
(image from official site)
The locked ones are "New Class: Demon Hunter" and "Free Demon Hunter Deck"
This, and the Pity-Timer, pretty much guarantee that you'll have a full Collection after getting a certain Amount of Packs. You still need to get a lot of them, but at least we can be sure now that there's a Cap!
wait what? How are the new cards garbage. I'd say SW:Ruin is the worst out of the bunch.
Subjugator is absolutely insane especially with a buffed Shadow Madness.
Now, with Lazul's Scheme there's enough consistency for a mind control package that makes for pretty big tempo swings.
Galakrond now also works as a win condition since we actually get something to do early (even though Card draw might still be an issue)
Natalie and Chaplain are amazing in a tempo build, which is now fully posssible because we got 3 playable 1-drops (including Ligthwarden), an amazing 2-drop to curve into (as well as Neferset and Tol'Vir) and the usual Priest shenanigans.
Sure, the lack of draw will hurt a bit, but who knows what else we'Re going to get in the new expansion.
Inner Fire is also still around, so while OTKs are no longer a thing you can still create a big beater out of nowhere and win from there (considering that Spellbreaker just got yeeted and less decks will run dedicated silence)
Not sold on your card… The effect isn't too original, IMO.
If you go with it, change the Watermark to Boombsday, doesn't fit at all as a Classic card.

I like the Wildfire Dragon. The connection between Dragons and Elementals is quite cool and hasn't been explored yet.

Both cards are cool. I think I'd go with Bronze Mechadrake, mostly because I'm not a fan of super RNG cards like Curator, Overclocked, despite it's nice to see a second version of him (her? it?)

I didn't realise how similar my Guardian of the Tides is to your Gnaw. I guess I'll go with another idea.
About your card, I think it has a few things to polish:
You should focus more on the Shark, it seems like the Murloc is the minion right now.
Rush didn't exist back in Un'goro. I'd change the expansion to Rastakhan or a custom watermark (the Trident one would fit).
The name Gnaw sounds like a legendary. I'd change it to something more "generic".

Very nice flavor. I like it a lot, albeit it looks more like a Rare or Epic.

Very funny art! The effect is a bit bland, though. I'd try some effect that connects with Illidan as a character.

Both arts are amazing. Flavor-wise, I prefer Darktide Conjurer, but it's too swingy for my taste. Therefore, I think I'd go with Mech Rider (despite the name is too bland)
Leeroy - I love that change. There was to much decks that copied him/ shadowstep him/ resurect him for OTK. While I love character I hate that card. Now they can print more Leeroy like cards in some classes, not in neutral evergreen set.
Turn 4 Mountain Giant is so frustrating for some decks. While its nice to play him its horrible to be on other side.
MCT - Die MCT Die.
Spellbreaker - he is to good to be in evergreen set. Having him makes getting any class silence useless. He is well stated and neutral. Also having him and Owl was weird. Owl have much worse stats and this is good for neutral card. While I will miss him (used him a lot) I agree with HOF him.
Out beloved Pain Guy - to reliable neutral draw, and for many classes (Mage, Warrior) even more absurd neutral Draw. Good HOF.

A few years back, we made changes to how opening card packs works to ensure that every time you got a Legendary card, it would be one that you didn’t already have. Starting March 26, we’re extending this to cards of all rarities!
This change is the biggest announcement for me today. Holy shit.
Actually, I was thinking the complete opposite: this totally guts priest's classic toolset. No more draw from cleric or PW:Shield and no more divine spirit shenanigans is HUGE, the mana decreases to unpopular cards are nice but I don't think any of them will be enough to push them to meta, and besides SW:Ruin all of the new cards are complete garbage. Answers are meaningless without a win condition. Hopefully priest gets some new toys with the expansion; otherwise, its going to replace shaman as Dumpster Tier as soon as the rotation occurs.
New Warrior Weapon - Bulwark of Azzinoth
NOt really sold on this one. Pretty easy to get through for aggro decks who usually deal cip damage anyways.
A great tool against burn/combo decks, but then again, it's easily countered by Ooze or Zephrys, which those decks can easily tech in.
At the very least it has a fair cost. Maybe there's some self-damaging cards that like to play with this. Hoard Pillager is a thing still.
New Neutral Minion - Teron Gorefiend
Cubelock players in Wild are probably salivating this right now.

Me: "...All right, I'll stay a bit longer."
Hearthstone’s Priest Class is Receiving Huge Changes! New Basic and Classic Priest Cards
I don't really get why Auchenai Soulpriest had to be axed.

Vol'jin except without the extra steps. Probably an auto include in any Priest deck just for the tempo swing.
