  • New Card Soul Split Accidentally Leaked in Press Release?

That's a good point. I was focusing on the smorc aspect of hunter, but rogue does seem to have more similarities.

On a different note, I'm curious if their hero power will be upgrade-able with Justicar Trueheart, and if so, will it be 2 damage for 1 mana, or something else? If so, will Sir Finley of the Sands be able to discover an upgraded hero power for Demon Hunter?

Lot's of questions... :D But for now, I'm just happy to potentially know another card!

So wait... what all does the pass allow you to do??

  • New mage OTK with Kael'Thas

you could throw it into big spell mage pretty easily that deck never played more than one or two cards a turn with the amount of big things they played two pyros would be a natural fit imo

  • Hearthstone Wild Card Unnerfs Revealed - Yogg-Saron, Raza and More!

I'm ok with almost all the unnerfs, in particular i dislike sludge slurper unnerf and reckless experimenter unnerf.

Super happy about Raza because i was still playing him in wild with Spawn of Shadows as a closure

Thanks for the feedback! I also prefer Darktide Conjurer. I could make it cost 7 (stats like... 5/4?) to balance the swing potential... what do you other guys think?

  • Hearthstone Wild Card Unnerfs Revealed - Yogg-Saron, Raza and More!

So, when is the actual rotation? does this mean that the cards still in standard will be un-nerfed/changed for about a week?

  • Ménagerie à Trois - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

Here is the first thing that I thought of

I wouldn't be surprised if someone else had the same idea as me. I will check in the submissions later to see if I need to change my card.

    yellow one is darkmoon faire

  • New mage OTK with Kael'Thas

I don't fear the draw, I fear the handsize.

I've played large combos before and the biggest issue is always the fact that you eventually can't draw anymore cards without burning them while also only being able to play 1 or 2 cards a turn because the rest of your hands is all combo pieces.

It's probably better to just throw this into Cyclone Mage and RNG the hell out of your opponent...who knows, maybe you even get an OTK out of it.

  • New Card Soul Split Accidentally Leaked in Press Release?

I'd say it's a Warlock/Rogue hybrid (lots of self-damage with limited healing but big card draws and tempo plays) and the gaps are filled with leftover Warrior, Druid and Hunter synergies.

So far it doesn't really feel like it's its own class but rather just an amalgamation of ditched mechanics (their main selling point is literally an abandoned Druid theme. Gonk should have chosen a different team I guess).

On the other hand it's at least good to see that those mechanics might get time to shine in a class that's actually dedicated to them.

I really don't like the focus on demons though it just seems to similar to Warlock. Druid and Hunter both use BEasts, but they feel very distinct from each other, meanwhile it's like "Oh hey you like Big Demons? So do I."

Most of the Demon stuff could have been printed for Warlock and you wouldn't even notice it.

Well, he didn't exaggerate after all. This stream really blew my mind.

Economy: It probably sounds better than it will eventually turn out to be, but it's a huge improvement nevertheless. Crafting epics was a huge money sink which now got the plug. Nice!

Demon Hunter: I'm not ashamed to admit that I prefer aggro and tempo over other archetypes. This class looks insane, there is just so much it can do! We haven't seen single target removal so far and only one true AOE, but it looks super strong to me. Getting all those cards for free just blew my mind.

Priest overhaul: Great changes! Priest is getting an identity after all and I'm looking forward to see those win conditions they mentioned coming with the expansions.

HoF: Good choices. I'm sad about losing Leeroy, but I'm glad I've saved enough dust to craft him golden.

Ranked System: Not sure about the consequences yet, but it looks very thought through. Combined with the announcement of achievements this will work wonders for long time motivation.

Edit, unnerfed cards: All hail Yogg, our lord and savior! They did this whole thing so incredibly well.

All in all, I can't find words for how deeply impressed I am. These are huge improvements and I will gladly keep throwing my money at Blizzard for quite some time.

What do you guys think about the news?

  • New Druid Minion - Imprisoned Satyr

There is some combo potential with this card. Malygos is still in standard, which means you can combo this card with the Aspect of Magic to reduce the Cost to (4) or even (0) and start to blasting enemies. Will Druid survive this long tho in Stnadrd? Maybe. Untapped Potential and most of the cards in the deck come from Year of the Dragon, so Druid still got some stall tools.

  • New mage OTK with Kael'Thas

elemental allies is a good draw engine for this kind of thing, but i don't see it working out either.

  • Old LoL player who currently plays Hearthstone. How is Runeterra different?

    Pros:

-very f2p friendly. Rewards dedicated players who spent more time, but still gives casuals enough to continue playing

-strategic and involving. Every decision feels like it matters, knowledge of mechanics is being rewarded

    -great artwork and overall design

-large variety for possible deck archetypes and experimenting

    Cons:

-once you actually play the meta it ends up very one-sided. There's plenty of situations where you'll just lose because your opponent plays a deck you can't beat (compare to Hearthstone where you basically always have a chance if RNG is in your favour)

-Riot's balancing decisions are...questionable at best. I get a lot of LoL-vibes where they just simply don't seem to realize obvious problems with even more obvious solutions and just keep skirting around the issue with bandaid fixes. This is where Blizzard actually shines in comparison: If there is a problem card in Hearthstone it will get nerfed. It miight end up useless or balanced, but in any case they problem will be fixed.

It's a good game and has a lot of appeal, but fuck me I can't play it any longer because I'm not gonna relive the trauma of playing League and hoping for competent balancing only to be disappointed every SINGLE patch.

  • Hearthstone Battlegrounds Update March 17th - New Heroes In, Old Heroes Out, Minion Updates

Great changes all around. I like all of the changes they made to the minions, especially the dragon buff guy. At tier 5, it is a little bit too late to just get a nice battlecry. Being a smaller minion at Tier 3 makes a lot more sense.

I also like having a murloc themed hero, it kinda feels right now like there really isn't anything for murlocs right now. Not as many special battlegrounds exclusive minions, or heroes to synergize with them.

I also like the pyramid buff, buffs are always nice.

I like the new sir finley, you basically get to reroll your starting heroes. Plus, you could end up with the same hero power as someone else, which makes things a bit more interesting.

  • Goodbye Leeroy Jenkins - Hearthstone Announces the 5 Cards Rotating to the Hall of Fame for 2020

I'm gonna miss Leeroy from standard but I'm mostly play Wild the last months.

Anyway if you have all cards that are moving to HoF we are receiving 2760 dust right?

  • New Card Soul Split Accidentally Leaked in Press Release?

It does look as though there will be a lot of overlap with Warlocks/demon synergies. The class seems to be a hybrid of hunter smorc, warlock demons and sacrifice mechanics, and maybe priest clears?

  • New mage OTK with Kael'Thas

I wouldn't call it unreliable, but it's a 9-card combo, gonna be pretty hard to actually get all those combo pieces together

  • Ranked Play in Hearthstone Drops Ranked Numbers, Moves to Tiers

everyone starts from the bottom tier, bottom rank every month but you get bonus star multipliers based on where you ended the previous season

they said it will be possible to even get 22 stars in one game at the beginning, as those bonuses will get lower the more you use them throughout the season

it was all in the reveal video earlier today

  • Hearthstone’s Priest Class is Receiving Huge Changes! New Basic and Classic Priest Cards

There are no words that can describe how much i i hate priest as a class and Anduin as a character

  • New mage OTK with Kael'Thas

Ok so this is a totally unreliable 9 card combo in mage. First you need to play Kael'thas Sunstrider. Then you play Elemental Evocation into Mana Reservoir twice,Pyroblast face. Then Frostbolt face twice and another Pyroblast to the face.

    Damage:

    12+5+5+12=34 dmg in one turn!

I'll surely try this out, and it wont work. But its fun atleast.

  • New Card Soul Split Accidentally Leaked in Press Release?

Not really a big fan of another class recycling Warlock spells
