Reading about the leaderboard update also reminded me that I haven't received my monthly stats report from Blizz in quite some time now ... The most important HS related news of 2019 is truly the birth of OoC !
Well, since they decided to make the old adventures available in the in game shop now, I went and bought League of Explorers. Went through on normal difficulty fairly easily. Only really had issues toward the end, and they weren't too hard. Now I'm working on Heroic. This has been a bit of a struggle. I started playing after the Boomsday expansion, so I don't have a lot of wild cards. Mostly just from Ungoro, Frozen Throne, and Kobolds. I'm currently stuck on Skelesaurus Hex. I've tried some of the top meta decks available, including Galakrond Shaman, but the value from his hero power is just too much most of the time. I've got a full collection in the standard format and I'm looking for any advice on how to get past this one. Any help is appreciated.
"Today, we can still observe diverse lifeforms, both refined and not, a living, breathing ecology of archetypes in continual transition. It’s beautiful."
The thing is, dual lands are really good. I mean like, really good. Like, so so good.
There is no way you could reduce the rarity to common, and bumping it down to uncommon wouldn't really make them any harder to get than making them common would be. Rare is a nice place for them to be in, though I do agree that making them appear more often would be nice.
I am afraid that the price can't be helped though. Wizards of the Coast can't control the price of the cards, it is all up to the sites/stores that sell them. There is a set market price, but Wizards doesn't control that.
I don't know what you could do to make them easier to get but still pay due respect to how good they are.
I agree that it's a pain to get the lands. I always feel like I'm getting a raw deal when I have to use Wildcards to craft them. There's always some other key card for a deck that I'd rather be making.
One of the things I've never forgiven MtG for is making dual lands so rare/expensive. I can sympathize with making game-changing cards like planeswalkers or those gods cards mythic, but dual lands are essentially just an insurance policy against getting a bad shuffle. Making them more scarce--and effectively rising the street price of all competitive non-mono decks--always seemed like a d*ck move to me.
Would you consider adding Lorewalker Cho to the deck? You only have 8 spells, and nobody expects it. I have been playing around with Lorewalker in a couple of decks and it is surprising how good he is.
Before the LoR beta, I had no idea there was so much lore behind LoL. MOBAs don't interest me at all, so I'd never had a reason to look into it. But wow, there's a lot to digest! I've been happily reading up on everything so I can be caught up for open beta and full launch in 2020.
To answer the original question: Ezreal is my favorite hero, and I love me some spells, so I definitely see some P&Z in my future. And since Yasuo is my other favorite, I'm sure I'll try a fair amount of Ionia. Will I smash the two together? Probably, but only time will tell.

I'm not sure the deckbuilder was live when the OP made this thread, so I'm thinking he put a LOT of work into all those images.

EDIT: Fixed the text, sorry for mistake
Next, a Kobolds and Catacombs card. You can use any part of the image (though preferably include the kobolds themselves)

Know what would make this deck list better? Links instead of full card images.
Thank you for the idea, I'll be trying him out soon.

Which region are you most excited to play?
