Are we getting a deck guide for this one?

Mistakes were made. The wrong Anubisath was written above the highlander rogue decklist. ;) But thanks for the report, its really helpful.

I didn't want to wait till I craft all the cards and instead made it with what I had already.. it's fun bu need the early game dragon priest cards. Wyrmrest Agent  to slow aggro and I added a Twilight Drake since my hand tends to be very full. The deck has basically no healing until turn 6 but it does work great.

I love the Transmogrifier + Plot Twist combo.. been playing that a bunch after seeing Chump do it but I do agree that it burn away your rescources.. Seeing your Valdris Felgorge turned into Millhouse will not feel good.

 It doesn't even work with the Broodmother which is such a missed opportunity.

Just a few observations;

- If youre aiming for pure handlock, then [Hearthstone Card (barrista lychen) Not Found] + Omega Agent as a finisher is worth considering. You only need two cards, and it out values priest with their many many AoEs. I would probably consider taking out Transmogrifier (seriously why is this in the deck?) and 1 Defender of Argus for this

- Defender of Argus has never really been key to me when playing handlock. If you need to add taunt to a minion sunfury protector is still the better choice for handlock. But I'd ditch both for a silence (mech pally) and for omega agent + barrista.

- Its my opinion, but playing sense demons and double elekk for the infinite arnasi broodmothers produces a problem where all your late game draws are not good enough since you can only play one minion per turn (broodmother costs 6) and the healing isn't fast enough to beat face hunters or galakrond warrior.

- For the reason above, I'd try the dragon package with Crazed Netherwing and Nether Breath. Contrary to other classes theres no need for warlock to include many dragons for Nether Breath, they draw very well.

- Add Zilliax. Theres no reason not to.

- Your midrange is wonderful with Twilight Drake and giant. Faceless Rager is probably too inconsistent. I'd drop 1 copy for Zilliax.

I've played both pure handlock, plot twist with dorian, and quest lock. Its not terribly good right now because of face damage is just too much in this meta. For that reason plot twist with dorian for that sweet turn 7 massive tempo swing might be a better deck archetype if you have a thing for handlock decks.

I used a budget B/W deck. It wasn't the smoothest sailing, but in the end it got the job done.

Excepting highlander decks, the dust cost haven't actually been ramping up. Its just the cards being more specialized , which means you need more cards to play more decks, more so than in the past.

In the previous set rotation there wasn't any highlander decks, which is already one of the most expensive archetypes in hearthstone presently, and I think its commonly accepted the previous year's expansion (Witchwood - Rastakhan) has minimal impact on the previous meta (Ungoro - Rastakhan), so you pretty much only had to craft the few deathknight hero cards and a couple more legendaries/epics from Ungoro - Kobolds expansion to play most decks.

From RoS to DoD, the meta is more diverse and legendaries/epics kinda got more specialized. Plus, team5 have been going on each expansion trying to introduce more deck types instead of powering previous ones so more resources are needed if you're gonna be playing even half the list from tier 1-2.

In a way, its healthy for the game, but its undoubtedly makes it more expensive to enjoy it, provided you want to play most of the decks.

So many cool cards. I can't wait for the expansion to get here!

I'm working on a Galakrond-Rogue with a Thief- and Spectral Cutlass-Core currently. So far, I've been utterly crushing Quest-Priest, but the match-ups against most other Decks are about 50/50.

Also, I didn't know I was losing to Highlander-Rogue! Thought these lists were some kind of Tempo-Deathrattle with „lucky" Alexstraszas.

December’s ranked play season is ending – not to mention the year itself – and it’s time to introduce the next monthly reward card coming to The Elder Scrolls: Legends this month: Ayleid Guardian!

We’re returning to the Scout class with this month’s card! Ayleid Guardian combines Agility and Endurance attributes for a major payoff in Legends’ late game. Thankfully, weathering an opponent’s attack is the Scout class’ specialty. (That, and quickly ramping up their maximum magicka!)

Ayleid Guardian immediately creates a copy of itself in the other lane when summoned – netting a player 16/16’s worth of stats for eleven magicka! That alone is a sweet deal, but the Guardian’s benefits get even better.

Both 8/8 Guardians in play feature the Guard keyword, so your opponent won’t be able to just swing past them and close the game themselves. The Guardians are also immune to Lethal, so quickly removing them with a pesky Territorial Viper or Fighters Guild Recruit isn’t and option! Simply put, you opponent needs serious removal to deal with Ayleid Guardian’s powerhouse defense.

Really good report! The meta actually looks diverse, similar to the Saviors of Uldum meta before Evolve Shaman dominated it.

4x2=8. “Other half” is Acidmaw with cost of 7.

8-7=1. 1 is 1/3 of 3 which is Dreadscale’s cost. 

Just waiting for that news on the supposed 35 additional cards which was going to be introduced along with the adventure come 2020. On my wish list is some form of deathrattle taunt similar to [Hearthstone Card (sludge bleacher) Not Found] at a lower cost so there's some hope for mage against aggro decks.

The one posted on OoC is the one I'm still running, mostly because I'm bad at deck-building and slow to adapt *shrugs* It's still fun, though.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions--I was wondering last night what could come of combining quest druid with either Ysara or Alexstrasza, and I figured they were entertaining possibilities but not anything that could compete with all these big-stat decks.

I've been facing a lot of galakrond warrior lately and those matches were easy, so it depends if the meta will shift again. But yeah, the overall winrate is still not very good.

Is it just me, or has the average deck cost gone up significantly with all these great new cards, and particularly highlander strategies? I know that face Hunter and zoolock are fairly affordable, but I'd be interested to know if anyone has compared average meta decks over the last few expansions

There has been no confirmation on the exact date for closed beta to start. The only official news is sometime during Q1 (January, February, OR March).

The only other recent hint was from one of the Associate QA Managers, Riot Polybius, which leads me to believe that we will hear something in January. If that happens I would not expect the launch to be very far behind.

Are you running the highlander variant that you posted here last week, or did you find something better?

This looks awesome! I've been looking for a good win condition in highlander mage and I think I've found it. Definitely going to try it out!
