  • New Druid Spell - Strength in Numbers

Big Druid that uses Tokens? Idk how to fit this card lol

  • New Warlock Spell - Rain of Fire

would have been nice with the spell stone

  • New Mage Minion - Mana Giant

A free 8/8 in an Open the Waygate deck; maybe it will find a home in Wild there whilst working toward Cyclone Mage in Standard. Keep in mind it doesn't specify the card must be a spell, so cards like Messenger Raven count too.

  • New Hunter Weapon - Stormhammer

An awesome card if hunter dragon works, hope so

  • New Warrior Minion - Skybarge

I'll say it because that's what we do here, we echo: Ship's Cannon but better! SN1P-SN4P! Zilliax!

Very nice upgrade. I expect some Towelie combos from this some time in December/January on YouTube.

  • Evasive Wyrm

Divine Shield and Rush on a 5/3 dragon?

    This is pretty good

  • New Neutral Minion - Fire Hawk

Interesting card vs warlocks. Not very interesting otherwise...

  • New Neutral Minion - Utgarde Grapplesniper

Drawing cards for the opponent is still bad, even if you can get an upside. I don't think this will see play.

  • New Hunter Minion - Veranus

I like it but i dont think that Dragon hunter will be an arquetype

  • New Warrior Spell - Awaken!

Remind me on that old warrior weapon Bloodrazer from KFT, just without the Deathrattle. This weapon was stable in every warrior deck, so i guess this will see play, but only in Galakrond Decks at least.

  • New Warrior Spell - Awaken!

Not that good. 3 mana for 1 damage isn't enough against token decks. At best, it's like a worse Shadow Bolt. There's the enrage synergy but Whirlwind still exists and Warpath only leaves in April. Really mediocre card.

  • New Paladin Minion - Lightforged Zealot

Such an interesting archetype. I like the flavour though, and am looking forward to decks that might come from this.

  • New Neutral Minion - Evasive Wyrm

Honestly, with Frizz taken into account I could see this being played in Constructed in dedicated Dragon decks. Paladin would definitely play it, Reno Mage might consider it.

  • New Druid Spell - Strength in Numbers

Probably a dragon druid with this card with the spell that ramp if you have a dragon could be something

  • New Priest Spell - Grave Rune

Wow in my custom Lich class I made this spell cost 6, 'cause I was super worried about abusing it. Didn't think a simple "double effect = double cost" over Ancestral Spirit would go over well with people. In the right deck, I think this card will be disgusting.

  • New Warlock Spell - Fiendish Rites

seems ok 2 2 /1 at worse is ok

  • New Shaman Spell - Invocation of Frost

Very flexible card. Will see play in Galakrond Shaman for sure

  • New Paladin Spell - Righteous Cause

Reasonable card for class identity but a bit odd for timing tbh.

We all(at least I) are expecting to see dragons and heal/taunt synergies(after seeing first sidequest and healing dragons).

Out of nowhere 2 new synergies popped up in Paladin, No neutral class cards and swarm support.

I really don't like how they themed paladin in this expansion. They should have chosen 2 or 3 themes in my opinion. Now it has

Mech, Dragon, Weapon, No Class, Swarm, Ramp synergies at the same time.

I guess it is the reflection of Highlander concerns.

That doesn't mean I don't like the cards tho. I love most of the Paladin cards. It was just about the theme.

  • New Warrior Spell - Ramming Speed

This is like Supercollider only not a weapon. The fact that it is not a weapon can be good, or it can be bad.

Pros: You don't take damage. You can still play this if you already have a weapon equipped. You can do this multiple times in a turn if you already have a Supercollider on the field, or another Ramming Speed in your hand. And it costs less.

Cons: The effect only happens once and then the card is gone.

Looks like the pros outweigh the cons, granted, some of the pros are going to be irrelevant most of the time, but they are still there.

Really, this card seems super powerful. Killing a minion costs 5 mana, and this can potentially kill 2 minions, or kill one and damage another. Due to the number of minions on the field and the positioning of minions this card won't always be very consistent. But doing this on turn 3 can do a lot to slow down an aggro deck, and it can also kill multiple giants at once, an with the return of handlock plus the new mage giant, that will also be very helpful.

Another thing to consider, dealing 2 damage to two enemy minions is worth 2 mana, this card costs one extra mana and you are able to control what gets hit.

All in all this card is very powerful and it will see play in multiple warrior decks even thought they already have a bunch of options. This card is just too good for its mana cost.

  • New Neutral Minion - Parachute Brigand

Turn 1 nightmare scenario is facing a 1-drop and these come with it.

  • New Priest Spell - Grave Rune

Oh good lord. Thank goodness N'zoth is going back out... This card will be the reason I start putting 2 silences in my decks from now on. So insanely strong for class that has some of the best and strongest deathrattles around.

  • Lightforged Crusader

Interesting mechanic, not sure how to rate it, as I am rating every card in the order they are in the cards section, so I havent seen the final cards of the set, I will rate it lower than I could have, probably.

So, a 3/5, might see testing for its new mechanic, but I dont think it will be good enough of a deck.

  • New Druid Minion - Shrubadier

    Really cool balanced

  • New Warlock Minion - Abyssal Summoner

    feels to slow and bad

  • New Neutral Minion - Hoard Pillager

Very good in any deck that runs a weapon you either want to swing with again or (if a meta ever revolves around it) gives you your weapon back after it'd been destroyed.

Cool effect, insane that it's a rare and not legendary.
