Playing around this is to have total hp in your board is equal to up to +2 cards in your opponent's hand ( warlock's hero power draws more cards).. Playing around defile is to avoid recursive amounts of hp on both sides of the board... 

I think this card is very good, at full hand it's a Reno the relicologist effect as a control deck.. Handlock seems to be back!!

Decent Handlock tool, but nothing great.

Overall, defile was a lot better. But this can ruin an aggro players early game quite hefty. 

The randomness makes it inconsistent though. 

Seems a bit OP to always have it target enemy minions. Just time it wisely to get the same effect.

But yeah it is a good card for handlock. I play a lot of secret mage in wild and I know for sure I am going to hate this card playing against me on turn 3.

Handlock support! Cheaper than Meteorologist, but in exchange for not having a body on board and being random. This would be great at keeping the board clear during the early to mid-game as Handlock typically explodes during the late game

Iirc, spelldamage buff disappears when you kill with first damage wave of Defile so it should be same for this card.

Turn 3 deal 8 Damage randomly sounds pretty good against swarmy Decks. At best it's a weaker volcano for less.

Not bad for a controlish handlock deck, but... i dont know if is worth to deal up to 11 splitted damage to a minions.

Little Volcano. Can be effective in early game against aggro.

At first i thought "oh no, a worse Spreading Madness", but then realised it can't go face.  I guess it's similar to volcano in a handlock, which seems good.
