  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

This is an excellent card for Cyclone Mage - the effect is obviously very good, but the Elemental tag and low cost mean you will almost certainly see a ton of value off it while also presenting a "must remove" target for your opponents, leaving you room to tempo off even a single good turn. Expect this to be an anchor card moving forward in that deck.

  • Mage Legendary Reveal - Chenvaala

Mage really needed some good cards, but I don't think this is it. My prediction is that it will see little to no play. 2/5

  • Chenvaala

Obvious potential buff in a Cyclone deck or other Elemental Mage (in Wild probably). Could definitely see play. Kinda meh for Arena.

  • Mage Legendary Reveal - Chenvaala

I don't think it's that strong; you can get one or two 5/5s with it, but it will be immediately removed afterwards. It gives a board presence, but one good turn won' save your whole game and Flamewaker is rotating back to the Wild, so there's that.

  • Chenvaala

Makes me sad that Elemental Evocation will be rotating out in the spring.

  • New Neutral Minion - Chromatic Egg

I hate everything about this card.

When you play this card you are gambling on discovering a good dragon, when you play against it you don't know what dragon will spawn and can't play around it.

To add salt to the injury, things that random summon a 5 drops now can summon this.

    Horrible.

  • Chenvaala

    Incredibly strong!
This could be an Early-mid game killer...

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

Dragon soul in the dragon expansion but it summons elementals instead. Bold move bold move.

  • Dragon Breeder

River Crocolisk in Arena, potentially much better in Constructed, although to get full value you need to play it late.

  • The Elder Scrolls: Legends - Micro Gauntlet

Details for the upcoming Gauntlet format for TESL.

Big plays, not-so-big decks. The Micro Gauntlet begins November 29!

We’re combining elements of this month’s past Gauntlets – the Twin Gauntlet and the Mini Gauntlet – and fusing them into an all-new event for The Elder Scrolls: Legends! Get ready for the Micro Gauntlet.

    Micro Gauntlet: November 29 – December 2
In the Micro Gauntlet, the minimum deck size is condensed to just 30 cards for two-attribute decks or 45 cards for thee-attribute decks. Additionally, only up to two copies of each card may be included in a deck. (Unique Legendary cards are still limited to one copy per deck)

For this event, players must take serious consideration which cards to run - we can’t wait to see what kind of Micro-brews you all will come up with! Each run through the Micro Gauntlet costs one Event Ticket or 150 Gold, up to three maximum runs.

The Micro Gauntlet begins Friday, November 29 at 12pm ET and closes at 12pm ET on Monday, December 2. Events in The Elder Scrolls: Legends change regularly, so check in often to see what new challenges await!

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

This can be elemental evocationed out which makes this scary goo

  • Mage Legendary Reveal - Chenvaala

    Oh hi dragon soul.

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

Mage dragon soul with a body. Jaina DK is pleased.

  • Mage Legendary Reveal - Chenvaala

This card will give me nightmares, I'm pretty dang sure this is really good to play. you can pull this by Sandbinder too. I can smell the shenanigans from this card alone

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

    This card is excellent.

  • New Neutral Minion - Sathrovarr

    Card is super sweet.

I just wanted to vote it 5 out of 5 because i like the design a lot.

It has 2 applcations, one is doing some kind of broken combos, the other is to generate a great amount of value.

about te second application, the card will see play in late-midgame/control decks if value wars will be all over the place, otherwise i think that is too greedy to play just to get a vantage on a very small percentage of matchups.

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

Shouldn't be too difficult to make use of. Mages love their 1-mana spells. Getting 12/15 in stats on turn 5 spread across 3 bodies doesn't sound too shabby. Seems to get a lot weaker the later you draw it though.

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

Well Flamewaker will go away when the new expansion comes so they can only join forces in Wild. This card is pretty good; solid stats for a 3-drop and an abusable effect. Could fit some new sort of Quest Mage maybe? Nice to see some new Elementals in the set as well.

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

My first thought of this card: NOOOOOOO, NOOOOOO, God pls NOOOOOOO!!!

gosh, when [Hearthstone Card (Flame Waker) Not Found] isn't annoying enough.

This card will definitely be seen play with cheap spells from mage

  • Chenvaala

    well...it kinda does

  • Chenvaala

Despite how good Mana Cyclone is, Mage is not in a good spot at the moment on the ladder. This could give a push into the right direction with some much needed board presence which is severely lacking do to most decks being chock full of spells and support cards.

  • [Legend] Highlander Aluneth Secret Mage 66% WR

    Hi man!

Happy that you liked it and that it took you to legend! Thank you for sharing it, I will check it out. Time to create a reddit account, lol.

  • Chenvaala

Dragon Soul but you get a 2/5 also, and it's for mage. Not sure if that's much better, honestly.

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

Given the current styles of Mage we know this already has a home. Is making a bunch of 5/5 what you want to do? Probably. Is it generally save to play this on turn 3 on an empty board and expect to to live? Probably. That means you can easily start snowballing this. The elemental tag doesn't do much in standard, but does do a lot in wild potentially. I can see this being one of the highest winrate when played cards that has a much worse when drawn winrate because there will be times you just never get to play it for value and you hold onto it and lose.

  • Chenvaala

So its similar to the Priest card Dragon Soul, could be more useful in mage however due to cards like Ray of Frost and Elemental Evocation.

This could potentially be a very powerful card, Mage has so much access to cheap and efficient spells.
