Regrettably, the thread is missing some of the other attributes that are available right now, but maybe we can get those in or find a way to make an easier to view digest of all the bbcode options we have.
Awesome guide and there's no way I'm going to crap on it....... but god I can't wait for the new expansion to drop so all the streamers I watch can go back to good old Hearthstone ladder clips
MMR stands for Match-making Rating (or Ratio) and is an abbreviation used in many games that have "ladder" system. Sometimes its hidden (like for Casual matchmaking), sometimes its not.
Each iteration of Galakrond functions like the Spellstones from Kobolds & Catacombs, wherein you try to upgrade the spells first before you play them. So like playing a Secret to upgrade the Lesser Emerald Spellstone, making it summon three wolves instead of two. In this case, you must Invoke Galakrond to upgrade his Hero card, improving the Battlecry.
It's the new mechanic: Invoke. Use a card with that keyword twice and you upgrade "Basic" Galakrond to "Medium". Invoke twice more and you get "Final" form.
I have to say Blizzard hasn't communicated the tournament very well either, for example I couldn't find a match list for today at a quick glance.
That's my point, I don't blame out of cards.
I don't get why Blizzard highlights only a 300k $ influencers event, instead of the "world championship".
They clearly don't really care about HGG or they would no doubt at least do the bare minimum to draw eyes to it by putting a banner in the battlenet app. Just compare the nonexistent PR for HGG to the various ways they hyped Las Vegas and Bucharest earlier this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't reprise HGG and this is their way of killing it quietly.
MMR refers to the ranking system for battlegrounds, I.E the amount of points you win or lose depending on your place on the scoreboard as well as your ranking relative to the rest of the lobby.
Terrible brawl. Why does it show the deathrattles over and over when the minions all die? Animations made me lose my turn. The free pack isn't worth it.
Hi fella LoR players, As many of you i fell in love with this game, surprisingly thou as I was not a big fan of other card games like Hearthstone or Magic. And i love to build decks i had many creative Ideas throughout the first two Trials.
Some Examples: Clone Decks (Elnuk, Commander Ledros, caustic casks) Nexus Killer Decks (ephemeral Legion Grenadier :D, Phantom Prankster with some Magic) Counter the Meta Decks (Karma and insane Mageseeker Inciters, Freljord Karma) Control Decks (Anivia clone, survive=grant freljord) Pursuit of Perfection Decks (overkill with Karma, spell control spawn) Creep Spawn Decks (Shadow Isles, Heimerdinger)
If you're interested I'll create posts with Strategies, Card lists etc. And of course i want to hear from your crazy sick insane decks...
Right? It makes no sense whatsoever. Sure there are maybe 2 turns where the +1/+1 on the wolf matters more than the ratpack swarm, but by the time you can actually buy T3 minions in the tavern Infested Wolf's advantage is already completely negated. I wouldn't mind seeing the wolf removed from the game: it's bad, it's redundant and something more interesting could be put in in its place.
I'm really glad they moved Junkbot up a slot. I simply stopped levelling at tier 4 whenever I went mechs and wondered why anyone would be stupid enough to pay gold to dilute their minion pool with all the assorted T5-and-up crap, none of which is vital to the all-mech strategy. As it stands, I still wonder if it's enough, because for any other tribe the highest payoff is still at level 5-6 (Gentle Megasaur, Mama Bear, Jaraxxus & Voidlord). Junkbot is also not a card you need immediately for the mech strat to work, you can easily afford to lean on Cobalt guardian and Security Rover for most of the midgame, so it's probably still better to stay at Tier 4 for a while for triples and magnetic buffs.
I tried so hard to make Dragon Warrior work during RR and it just never got there, much to my bitter disappointment. I really think DoD is going to make that deck truly meta-viable and I'm pumped - there's just so many better dragons for War Master Voone to copy just on what's already revealed (not to mention Dragon Roar, Smolderthorn Lancer, and Emberscale Drake now having more to work with) PLUS we haven't seen what Warrior Galakrond is...
it might just work out. I mean, King Phaoris is a thing people play.
With Seance you basically have a triple threat (even though you'll have to wait and press the button inbetween) and we now have more than enough Control tools to last until that.
Also, all games will have their own card bbcode tags, so no need to worry about getting cards from the wrong games. Hearthstone will always be the base "card" and "cardimg" tags with other games getting prefixes attached ("runecard", "runecardimg", "mtgcard" "mtgcardimg") and having completely independent rendering logic where needed.

Nice!
Maybe the relevant card tags could be shown on the card's page? For example below the images.

Is there a stickied post or something with all of the bbcode? If not, i'm sure I'm not the only one who would find that helpful.

Hey, we've now got Spoilers so I added them to the main post. At this point, I can finally start getting flavor texts and emotes up.

The problem is Blizzard isn't entirely clear on how the MMR system for battlegrounds works. We've gotten a bit more info on it from Mike Donais (https://outof.cards/hearthstone/495-mike-donais-talks-battlegrounds-lich-bazhial-mmr-blog-coming-this-week) but I doubt Blizzard will ever be completely transparent about the formula they use to score your games.

That's a fair point, but I'm greedy and want the NEW packs
This Week's Brawl is Shake, Deathrattle and Roll!
Plenty of new players need Classic packs first tbh

wow this is probably the worst brawl since Bananas
It's literally pure RNG. You basically win or lose during the first 3 turns based on how many cheap minions and how many good deathrattles you got.
2-drop gets Mechano Egg? Whelp, game's over
