I am still having problems as well, and uninstalling and reinstalling did not solve it. I never play on my PC, but I donwloaded it just to clear quests and get some of the event´s rewards.
I oppened a ticket on Blizzard´s site, but its still unaswered.
It´s a shame they drop the ball this hard during an event that should incentivize play.
It's interesting to see how there are many keywords that are similar across games, but you can't say they're "copying" each other. For example, Hearthstone Coined the phrases Battlecry and Deathrattle to mean their corresponding effects, but other games like MtG use "When played" or "When [Hearthstone Card (dies", while Runeterra uses Play and Last Breath. They're literally the same thing, except they're different ways of expressing it. If the art for Counterspell in Hearthstone was the same as that of Counterspell from MtG, then that would be blatant copying. However, because they're written differently and have different art, they're no longer the same. I mean, when it's such simple cards like "draw 2 cards" or "destroy all minions/creatures/monsters", there's no room for creative liberty, so you don't really have much of a choice. But if a unique effect like Ragnaros the Firelord was copied or was very similar to another card, that's a little suspicious in my opinion.
If you don't like Hearthstone then stop playing it. Nobody's compelling you to play the game, and it's not like you telling people that you think the game sucks in a passive-aggressive manner is going to change much. If anything, it sounds like you want to get more people to quit Hearthstone for LoR so that you'll have some sense of positive reinforcement.
I have no problem with shamans in general,I'm just sick that every 2. game is against a shaman.
No matter what the meta is, every other game will be against the meta deck. Highlander Palain tier 1? You'll see a lot of that. Cyclone Mage tier 1? You'll see a lot of that. Razakus Priest tier 1? You'll see a lot of that. I guarantee that if the tier 1 deck was Tempo Rogue instead of Evolve Shaman, you'd say the exact same thing except replace Shaman with Rogue.
Dude, she's great in Even Shaman in Wild - specifically in the one with the Totemic Surge The only card I was missing was Ragnaros the Firelord and now I have it (though for a limited time). I'm currently having a blast and have more than 50 victories in Wild in 3 days. Furthermore I'm considering crafting the Rag for that particular deck after the event finishes...
I cannot tell for Standard but she seems okay. If you like Shaman (like me) craft her.
Thank you! I do enjoy playing Shaman, and I guess I'm convinced to craft it.
I will check for both lists in Wild that are mentioned, I played the slower version all the time so a change is welcome. But first to exploit the Standard one while it lasts :)
Yeah murloc shaman has fallen off quite hard against the evolve shamans.
If you want to give secret paladin another go I'd recommend the highlander build. That one should easily get you to rank 5.
I've been using it myself together with highlander hunter. Currently rank 4 but not sure I'll be playing much more with the League of Legends world championship going on.
I miss (a bit) monthly threads we used to have in "that other HS forum" about our legend climb each season so, why not starting them here?
My objective each month is rank 5 (I don't play enough hours per week to be any more ambitious). I climbed very fast in the first days with Flamewaker so I was quite optimistic, but then I fell in a losing streak, so I switched decks. Neither Secret Paladin nor Murloc Shaman have worked especially, I've been in rank 7 for 2 full weeks!!! The grind is real this month...
I'm going to try Tempo Rogue now, I need a change!
Calling yu gi oh cards 0 mana cards is weird they just don't have a mana system there at all but a star system and various other requirements "free text requirements"
But I guess you could say 0 mana to make it easy to understand to mana based card game players..
Are you denying my existence? No one plays for the lore? I think I've made it rather clear during my time on this site that it's half the reason I DO play this game, lol. Yes, they take artistic liberties with the lore, but each one is spun as a tall tale around important locations, events, or groups from the lore. Also, you didn't touch on my other mention of the art. Art is often a matter of personal taste, and I find the atmosphere created by the Hearthstone art style to be fun and colorful. By contrast, the art depicted in this article looks dull and bland to me. I repeat the fact that these are my personal reasons and views and I understand that many don't share them, but I consider them to be perfectly valid in themselves and wish for them to be treated as such.
You already said that art is a personal taste, That's why i didn't touch that topic. For me for example, I prefer MTG's art %100 of times. Same with Elder Scrolls: Legends but you are right about that art is an important part to decide playing some card games. That's why i didn't even try Shadowverse, Eternal, Mythguard etc. because of their card arts and UI designs.
For the lore, I've started Hearthstone because of Warcraft Lore no doubt. I remember how I was excited when they announce and how I waited for beta invite but Hearthstone is just a game which uses Warcraft Universe, There is no other connections with the game anymore.
Lorewise, I only loved Naxxramas, Blackrock Mountain and TGT. All of other expansions were bad for lore imo. KotFT for example. There is no such thing as Frost Lich Jaina for example. If you do that for a MOBA cosmetic, it is always ok like this;
But giving new powers to the hero and change it for a card game was ridiculous for my taste of lore. Same with all other Death Knights. You can always bring something new but you should do that without changing the lore. They should have been added new characters as Death Knights, shouldn't have changed well-known characters.
I am not denying your existence, That was just an exaggeration to make myself understood. I am also playing and started this game for the lore but I realized long ago that Hearthstone stopped being lore-friendly. I've waited them so long to make a Burning Crusade related expansion, New classes like Warcraft has, Well-known characters from the game but everytime I waited so long, They brought Aya Blackpaw or Hagatha the Witch or King Togwaggle to the game.
What Blizzard has done and still doing is is disappointing for their own royal players. Did you check 1000 win rewards ? They are laziest stuff of Hearthstone. That really describes and proves that what I'm saying here. Blizzard doesn't really care older and royal players, They always care potential of new players. They really think like they already earned us and people keeps buying from Blizzard even they do mistakes so that causes Blizzard care older player lesser because even they do whatever they like, People are still buying.
It's not a boycott call, don't get me wrong but I left paying Blizzard long ago because of their game-related actions. They changed and ruined every game I love and grown up with.
Not really a staple, because she requires you do adjust the deck around her (ie cheap, efficient overload cards, eg Zap!).
You can obviously play Even Shaman without her, and the deck is still going to be very good, so, since you are being careful with dust, i advice to craft her ONLY if Shaman is a class you really like to play.
My experience in wild with her is just ok. I've been playing it in an Even Shaman, but more focused in big minions like Flamewreathed Faceless and Fireguard Destroyer.
The ideal scenario for her is when played with a swarming kind of deck. But, these decks don't see much play in wild, since small minions don't stick.
I can't tell you about Standard, though. Probably she may be more useful. But I don't know if I would craft her, since Shaman is in the right spot for the next nerf wave...
Actually there are two even shaman builds going around right now. The one that you're running, which is good against slow decks, and a more overload-centered one, which does indeed run Vessina. The overload deck fares a lot better against aggressive decks and is extremely competitive.
So yes, OP, Vessina is a good card in wild as well as standard.
Divine Strength basically has the samework (kinda) as Unholy Strength, but with the effect as Holy Strength. Perhaps I should've mentioned that somewhere.
Man, I helped with some ideas for this article and I didn't even stop and think for a second that of course there would be one with the exact same stat boost - I mean, how could there not?
We'll call it an Easter Egg for the Magic players out there =P
man, there are so many iconic Magic cards mentioned here.
Lightning Bolt is one of the most, if not the most iconic Magic card of all time. When Magic was first made there was no limit to how many copies of a card you can have in your deck, so some people would just play 20 lands and 40 lightning bolts and they had a very competitive deck. There is also a video about the card which I thought was quite interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=28&v=QwsxIojAnus
