Based on what I saw on HSreplay (Meta page), Murloc Pally and Shaman are the only T1 decks, while Control Warrior is resting at mid T2 (around 52% WR). Hunter seems to be doing just fine, having 2 viable decks at the very top of Tier 2
Yes! Thank you for this! I'am looking forward to buy new PC because Cyberpunk 2077, and more new exciting games, so this articles will be so useful! Appreciate for that :)
Don't get the aggro warrior is best warrior stuff; I played Wall Priest and the warrior quit, and I hadn't even dropped a single resurrect, Psychopomp or plague card. Just taunt after taunt, an all-but-one Mass Hysteria clear and a copied Reckless Mummy I seanced in a pinch. (Edit: I also recall it being a quest aggro warrior, maybe he burned his best stuff too early while I had over 20 health).
So not only are you basing a deck's capabilities on a single game. You were also playing against an aggro deck that runs a quest for some reason.
Yeah, I suspect the reason why these things haven't been ripped out of the game yet is because they aren't stored as some kind of simple 2D image file. At the very least, many of them are 2D things stretched onto 3D objects, but I bet a lot are entirely generated within unity.
So... a few minutes ago I said "fuck it, let's play something dumb for the lulz". The first thing that came to my mind was Magic Carpet: "ok" I said, "Carpet Shaman it is then".
I took the list on ladder (rank 7 EU) with zero experimentation and I literally clowned a complete Highlander Secret Hunter.
It's true, I got a godlike curve (1 drop into EVIL Totem into Magic Carpet into Cult Master into draw half of your deck) but man it felt sooo good.
For those of you curious or confused, the advice of "never make a Pepe card" originates from competition 4.14 on HearthPwn, where a user named timmult won a competition with a card named "Pepe" (after the WoW pet). Timmult's victory with Pepe resulted in a lot of heavy backlash from the WCDC community, where Pepe has essentially become a meme card in the fan creations scene.
Any typos and grammar mistakes you see in this article are kept there intentionally. For the purposes of keeping the integrity of what the interviewee wrote, any changes are extremely minimal.
The "HS mod for custom classes" that Cheese mentioned is a consideration for a future FCS.
That's all i found, there was this other freeze effect stuff from a chinese site i didn't bother linking because it was blocked by a watermark, it's not hard to find on google images if you're really interested in it but trust me it's a dead end, i only looked up the freeze effect because i assumed it would be the easiest to track down, the cursed blade one looks really simple to duplicate if you own photoshop and the shadowform one went nowhere when i checked it out, I say good luck.
Mage is MIA. I've seen a few decent performances but it's not as dominating.
Control Warrior is still valid, but Quest Paladin has made inroads this week with mage out of the picture and Quest Wall Priest can wear out warrior with the reborns and mass resurrections.

Wild: This week using highlander mage and warlock, I've won quite a bit using the "condom" cards of wild -- Dirty Rat, Unseen Saboteur (hilarious when it's a Mecha'thun Warlock opponent and you cataclysm their Mecha'thun-in-hand or spend that lone Bloodbloom) and good ol' Skulking Geist making short work of OTK and Quest Jade Druids. Pretty much the holy trinity of anti-OTK.
Aside from Un'Goro Quest Mage and Secret Mage, fear the Control Shaman decks going for their endless Shudderwock finisher.
Hey, I'm looking to create some custom graphics, effects similar to Shadow Form or Cursed Blade, that appear over top hero portraits in the game. Has anyone pulled these various graphics out of the game in a usable format? Does anyone have homemade versions that approximate the visual effects?
Here's an image showing the stuff I'm talking about. Cursed Blade debuffing the hero and weapon with a red glow. The frozen and immune and shadow form hero effects too. Also, anyone have the reborn graphic?
I agree that the hardware requirements are quite low. I only play HS and a few older games. My 10 year old hardware (FX 4300, Nvidia 560ti, 8gb ddr3) are still going strong. But I am a Linux user and hardware tends to last a long time with Linux.
Rogue, Hunter and Mage are easily the strongest classes right now.
I don’t think mage has ever been bad, its just a very solid class with the ability to change between aggro and control at a moment’s notice, especiall with cards like the 6 mana kill Ultrasaur or 7 mana laugh at aggro decks.
Rogue is also one of the best classes right now because of how strong their tempo is with cards like the Scimitar and Envenom Weapon.
Hunters directly counter Rogues most of the time due to their low amounts of healing, and it also has access to cards that are very powerful like Flanking Strike and Baited Arrow. Its face game is no joke and most of the time, an aggro gameplan is very hard to stop.
The other classes are very dependent on draft, so if you are looking for wins, just stick to these three classes.
Many of those idea are pretty good and will also probably be entertaining, but considering how Blizzard managed HS since now I'll be happy to just see one of them added properly (the Brawl Block seems the most "fresh" in term of gameplay) or at last a reworked Ladder system that could replace the actual boring grind.
Brawl Block and Pyramid seem the most likely to actually ever see the light of day. It's been 5 years since any new game mode has been introduced and it seems Team 5 are too preoccupied with making any.
I wish they'd take a year or two off of making the current single player content so we could have some variety.

Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!
in a world where literally every meta deck is aggro currently, people still want warrior deleted from the game. unbelievable.

Googled for a bit because i was interested and came up with mostly nothing i found these:

Six Formats Hearthstone Could Easily Have
The queue times could be an issue, that's for sure, but I'd say at peak times it would be unnoticeable how long someone is waiting to play.
If I had actual friends that played this game regularly, I'd be setting up friendly tournaments.

Also, she turns into a tentacle monster whenever lightning strikes. That's a big theme. Blizzard hasn't exactly been subtle with that.

Six Formats Hearthstone Could Easily Have
The thing about formats like these are that queue times for a lot of them are going to be really long since not many (comparatively) will be playing.
You're better off organizing something online with friends and agreeing to play by those rules.
