most golden animations are boring to me, simply because almost none of them are 'animated' it is just a bit of glowing and maybe some wind or something. but the card is still mostly a frozen image. there are some golden animations that are actually pretty good, either by improving image qaulity, or by actually animating the card. but most golden animations are boring to be as they mostly just make the border shiny.
I've never been a fan of playing around cards. When you're playing around a card they don't have, you're practically giving it to their hand. I never like guessing and gambling. I like reacting to visible information, and making a plan along the way depending on what things happen. Playing around cards possibly in opponent's hand? NO. Most frustrating idea.
I wish there were more swappable components on laptops. A lot of them these days don't even allow you to swap out the damn SSD, making it a brick at some point ='(
If we do end up recommending laptops down the line, which is something we'd love to do, we want to make sure we have a really good reason for doing so and take the proper amount of time to really figure out which ones are the best in all the different price tiers. Glad to see some love for laptops though!

If they end up being solid though, I could definitely see us recommending it in the coming months based off preliminary benchmarks.

I'm really hoping I can build one of these beasts to use as my main rig at some point though. M.2 form factor has really helped us minimize the amount of space one needs for drives in the build, making them even smaller.

Definitely experiencing a lot of repeated cards, I had x4 Hooked Scimitar on one rogue run - I tried to re-create what kept beating me which was lots of low-cost minions overwhelming the board but not had much luck.
I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this, the best run I've had so far is 4 wins with Paladin.
I can't help but feel that highlander decks are so dull to play and play against. Once you know your opponent has only 1 of each spell (beyond discoverable shenanigans), playing around things becomes trivial. Most of the time, it's correct to gamble they don't have that perfect answer. If not, yay! You won! If they did, scramble for Plan B.
I get that it's fun to make each card selected that much more meaningful, but the play and counter-play seem stale.

I get where you're coming from, but I think these decks are unsatisfying to play against rather than boring, because it feels like Russian Roullette more than strategy. The archetype exists and is balanced around cards that are ridiculously OP but require you to build an inconsistent highlander deck. Consequently, when you draw and play those cards and the right answers, it feels like a total high-roll, but when you brick on your draws it feels like you lost to your own deck rather than the opponent. Similarly, when playing against these decks there isn't much point to playing around certain cards, you just have to pray to RNGesus; if you win the victory is tainted by the knowledge that it's due in part to the opponent's poor draws rather than your skill.
I played a lot of Kazakus-era highlander back in the day, and even though I enjoyed the heck out of it, the design of these enabler-cards never sat right with me. I think I'd rather have a dedicated highlander format than cards in the standard pool that break all norms of acceptable power level to entice players to play it there.
with all the talk of nerfing broken bullshit cards, why does no one every bring up scavenging hyena? the more rush beasts that exist, the more broken this card is.
I actually think hyena is pretty balanced. You sacrifice card advantage to buff it up and one silence, transform, or hard single target removal can punish the play. If the opponent doesn't have that then the resource commitment pays off for the hunter.

But with Augmented Elekk, you are shuffling in another copy of the same card, not a different one. You can't really make that comparison. Plus, I don't see a reason to not add the 'also' to reduce confusion.
