  • Tombs of Terror Info + Deluxe Pre-Order Available - Saviors of Uldum Solo Content

The store page says "Earn 3 Savior of Uldum Packs by playing through each chapter, and a Golden Classic Pack when you conquer them all." So I think that counts as confirmed.

There are 4 chapters and a finale, so 5 wings in total, although I don't know if the finale is a full wing. The finale unlocks at the same time as chapter 4, so it might be that you automatically get the finale if you finish all the chapters and don't need to unlock it, but that's just speculation. If it's  true and the first chapter is free as usual, there would be only 3 chapters to unlock with money or gold.

Nvm, its in their Fireside Gathering post.

The next chapter, which will be immediately accessible, can be unlocked for 700 gold or $6.99 USD— you can also get access to all four chapters and the grand finale by purchasing the Adventure bundle for $14.99 USD.

    We're not "hyping" HearthPwn's CDCs.

CDCs on Out of Cards will arrive eventually. There will be a system much better than HearthPwn's.

    • Much like the Dalaran Heist, you'll earn card backs by completing wings in the adventure (16 packs) and a Golden Classic Pack at the end.

Shop page has image, it's 15 regular pack (3 per wing) and 1 golden for completing. 16 total, not 16 regular plus golden.

Also, this time no free golden leg, eh. And only 4 classes, you could say it's dual classes, but no, it's 4 with large card pools for bucets, pretty bad.

Plus, i hate grinding thing with 300 hp pool, i want complete run not grind boss 5-8 times, yes, it's possible kill 300 hp boss in 1 run, but it's not fair.

I like how Warlock isn't on the dual classes. A nice way to show the League of Explorers opposition to Arch-Villain Rafaam.

Safe to assume 700 since that's been the standard forever.

I stopped submitting cards to Hearthpwn's CDCs when Flux left, hoping outof.cards would start fresh. Really disappointed that rather than running your own CDC you're just going to hype Hearthpwn's.

they said that you can buy it for a reduced price ones the adventure released, but you won't get the cardback and legendary

you mention that we get 16 packs, how many packs is that per wing? by that I mean, how many wings are there?

I would guess 5 wings 3 packs per wing plus the extra golden one. but I would like someone to confirm.

also, will it cost 700 gold like last time? or have they reduced the cost since last time?

"Each of the 4 explorers are dual-class heroes"

The first thing I thought of when I heard this is that all custom classes who chose the good side in RoS will have to be dual-classed with Warlock (as Warlock is the only class that isn't part of the 4 explorers at all).

  • Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]

Really good for Warlock or weapon classes.

Next up, a GvG minion with some sort of Polymorph mechanic.

  • September has Arrived! New Season, New Sea of Dunes Card Back

Well I hope everyone enjoys quest Druid,  quest shaman and quest paladin for the next month.

  • Best decks after nerfs!

Control Warrior>Aggro>Decks that Can Sometimes Beat Control Warrior>Control Warrior

^To me it kind of looks like this^

Control Warrior is something we all know and love.
Aggro includes the murloc decks, zoo, token druid, etc.. I'd include Combo Priest here, even though it's a very nontraditional aggressive deck.
Decks that Can Sometimes Beat Control Warrior include things like Quest Druid, Quest Shaman Highlander Hunter, Bomb Hunter, Bomb Warrior, etc.

There's also a category of Control Warrior hard counters (Mech Paladin, Quest Paladin). I'm not sure where exactly they fall. My guess is that they'd be unfavored against the other categories.

  • Next Expansion hint in Raven cardback?

I can see this being a thing, I can only imagine their development and design teams are heavily influenced at the moment with the Warcraft 3 remake in the works.

There are usually a few fresh character cross overs when something launches, for example, One Night in Karazhan and Legion launched in the same month, we saw mana sabers Cat in a Hat and Nightborne Pompous Thespian in hearthstone nearly a month before we saw them in wow for the first time.
Now you've got to keep in mind the months of development before their launch, you might be onto something here.

Perhaps with the launch on WC3 coming closer, they will do a similarly themed Hearthstone expansion to get the hype rolling, that's be something I'd look forward to.

  • Triple Quest Mage (13 extra turns!)

    Pro

This is pretty dang ambitious! Would be fun when it works (not for your opponent!), but I'd probably just settle for Vargoth/Time Warp to take 2 extra turns. With that, you can drop a couple Giants or something, and get free face smashing.

  • PC Builds of the Month - September 2019

I just built a new pc so this is not really applicable to me personally, but I love the fact you are willing to give this advice and spend the time to write this article.  This will help a lot of people out there who are interested in upgrading.  This article is just another in a series of extraordinary content.  Keep up the incredible work!

  • Now your deck is looking more and more like the Whizbang highlander recipe plus Undatakah.  ;-)  I play that sometimes; it actually can be surprisingly effective; only has a 47% win rate on HsReplay, though.

For the sake of completeness, here are a few differences between that deck and this which you might want to consider:

    +Aldor Peacekeeper

    +Mind Control Tech

    +Khartut Defender

    +[Hearthstone Card (A NEW CHALLENGER…) Not Found]

    +Siamat

    +Dragonmaw Scorcher

    +Tirion Fordring

    +Glowstone Technician

    +Countess Ashmore

    -Hammer of Wrath

    -Novice Engineer

    -Chief Inspector

    -Rabble Bouncer

    -Nozari

    -Rotten Applebaum

(and of course -your Undatakah package which I assume you want to keep)

Please note that these are just the differences I see; I can't really say they're improvements.  For example, Scorcher seems really meh on paper, but in practice I've had a couple of games when its been a clutch tempo play they also cleans up lackeys / reborns / Sn1P-Sn4P / etc.  MCT sounds great on paper, but most of the time I just tempo that out for a 3/3 body.  Also I'm not sure how any of this would effect your Undatakah package--for example, I think Khartut is overall superior to Applebaum, but then you're either holding off on any other deathrattles until you play prelate + undatakah once or you're rolling the dice.  Which maybe is OK?

Or conversely, if you want to play into the UT package harder: maybe you want to add in Crystology + 1 Bronze Gatekeeper to help draw out the prelate more consistently, and maybe 1-2 Annoy-o-Module and maybe even a Kangor's Endless Army to help stall out the game until you find your full combo?

Whatever you do: best of luck.  I love it when people try to homebrew off-meta decks.

  • Hot Take - Highlander decks are boring!

    Pro

I enjoy the counterplay of finding out your opponent is singleton, then ticking off resources on your head (like, ok, he played Animal Companion, so that card is gone).

I also find Zephrys the Great to be so good and fun! Look how many non-singleton decks he shows up in!

  • Anka's Sandtroopers (Saviors of Uldum edition)

  • Next Expansion hint in Raven cardback?

    Hi guys,

I know it's mayorly early to speculate about the next expansion theme, but when i was reading the funnies on the cardbacks it said on the new raven one: "could it have been Medihv all along?". Which made me think, would it be that simple?

As Khadgar (wielder of Medihv's staff) already made an appearance it would be logic to think that Medihv actually will make an appearance again in the next expansion as the "mysterious prophet" and with a theme related to the lore below?

As it states in lore: "He was slain shortly after by his apprentice, Khadgar and his childhood friend, Lothar.

Shortly before the beginning of the Third War, Medivh returned as a mysterious prophet, manipulating events in order to arrange the formation of a last-ditch alliance between the mortal races on Kalimdor, guiding them to victory at the Battle of Mount Hyjal.

    What do you guys think?

Note: in the event that I missed anything on the forum and this was actually discussed, I actually read alot of the cards but not alot of forum stuff)

  • Six Formats Hearthstone Could Easily Have

I've wanted a Two-Headed Giant mode for ages, but I recognize it is incredibly difficult these days.

Cooperative would be a nice way to test it though.

Give us a boss like Ramaz from MTG 2014 and you could see how players bring their decks together or how badly exploited the mode would be.
